Richards place is surely a gem. We had great weather and was able to enjoy the local group of turkeys that visited on a daily basis. Richard is a great host and even notified us that the house was available early. Rooms were very comfortable.

We had a great day. The house was well stocked and had lots of equipment for the beach. It was very relaxing place to come back to each night.

This Vrbo was well stocked. The view was beautiful. If you are a family with 4 adults and two kids- this place is perfect. Remote and quiet and pretty close to Hapuna Beach.

Relaxing family stay

We stayed here in June for a family vacation. The house was lovely and the grounds beautiful. I really appreciated all the beach equipment and towels. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful vacation home on the Big Island! The house is clean and well-stocked, has an amazing view, and provided a quiet base from which to explore the beautiful island! Perfect for our family of five! Highly recommend!

Wonderful, spacious, expansive view from the house, lanai, and yard. Roomy kitchen with everything you need, very comfortable beds, quiet, secluded location. Lots of beautiful flowering plants, trees, and ferns. Quiet, quiet, quiet except for the birds.
Reading every morning on lanai.
Amazing sunsets.
Lovely moonlight.

The host communicated before the trip letting us know the property was ready a few hours early. The house was awesome! Central location for all the activities we wanted to do on the island, beautiful sunsets from the ocean view in the front yard. We would stay there again if we go back.

Sunset heaven

We had an amazing time and the house fit our needs perfectly. Well supplied in every way. The main living area is open and breezy. The lanai and yard looking toward the ocean is heavenly.

Sunset paradise

We absolutely loved staying here. The nightly sunsets were stunning. We loved all the amenities in the kitchen as we cooked and/or grilled each night. We made use of the cooler, blankets and chairs for our daily visits to the beach. We enjoyed coffee and reading on the deck every morning. We loved our time on the Big Island.

Great home with large front yard overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Fully supplied and comfortable for your stay in paradise. North West Hawaii; hop skip and a jump from Hapuna beach.

Great property with stunning view

The house was excellent, well-equipped, clean and had an amazing view of the ocean from the lounge, deck and lawn. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, beach gear and laundry. The host, Richard, was lovely to deal with and gave us some great tips. The location was a short drive to some of Kohala's best beaches. We enjoyed the funny turkeys that hung around and would love to come stay again in the future, mahalo

Lush Hideaway in Kohala

We enjoyed and appreciated: - the comfortable, relaxed vibe; - well equipped kitchen, and stocked with spices & condiments; - great sea and sky views; - the expansive deck with a counter and stools to enjoy the view to the sea; - the orchid garden is so beautiful and lush, in contrast to the dryer surroundings; - I loved the bath in the primary bedroom; - and the reasonable cost. -

Lovely and serene

An exceptionally relaxing and beautiful escape. Felt very private. Gorgeous view, huge yard. House was well-appointed, very clean, and spacious. Generous beach toys and equipment. Highly recommend!!
