Amazing Stay

Second time we’ve stayed here (family of four with two kids under 12) and it continues to exceed expectations. Unreal location with a great host.

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as lovely as the first time! The house is great and had everything we needed, and the host was also excellent- very communicative and made things very easy for us. We hope to return again next year!

Very clean and Cozy

The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We took the Ferry to Boston twice, which was very fun for our 4 and 6 year old. We also went down the road to Pegotty beach which was very nice.

Amazing view!!

Cute, clean and well appointed. Absolutely amazing view, beautiful sunrises! Owners were responsive to all communications. Would totally recommend!

Wedding fun

My son got married in Scituate and his in laws stayed at 8 Oceanside...the lighthouse. It was nice to be so close and the house was lovely. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The house is fully stocked with a great back porch and patio overlooking the ocean. Nice that the cars are parked behind the house and not exposed to the ocean spray.

Great house with ocean views!

We had an amazing stay here! There are beautiful ocean views from the living room, deck, and two of the bedrooms. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and spotless. They had everything we needed- the word that kept coming to mind was "well-appointed." Every time I thought "I wonder if they have a....(kitchen implement, etc.)" they always did. Communication with the hosts was great. They always responded quickly, and proactively reached out to us when there was local news that might impact us (possible incoming storm, etc.) Can't recommend highly enough- would love to stay there again!

Chillaxing

I needed a break from work and the yellow cottage by the ocean was perfect. It’s a lot larger than it looks and the view is amazing. The sound of the waves crashing and sitting on the covered porch was great when the sun got hot. The AC and ceiling fans were greatly appreciated when the humidity kicked up. Our hosts thought of everything but we couldn’t find the fire pit which wasn’t a big deal. The kids played games, corn hole and explored the rocks. Thank you so much for a wonderful week!!!

Perfect house on the ocean!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful house on the ocean. Fell asleep every night to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. Woke up to beautiful sunrises and drank coffee on the back porch watching the ocean. Even enjoyed a seal that would come every day and float out in sight of the house. Everything was clean and well stocked with things that we would need. Communication with our hosts was always easy and they got back to us quickly with any questions. There was a little concern about hurricane Lee coming close and they were accommodating if we needed to change our stay and let us know where things were if we needed them. Would highly recommend this house if you are wanting to stay in the area. We would definitely stay here again if and when we come back to the east coast. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

I stayed at this beautiful property with my family (six adults) for six nights. The house is very comfy, nicely decorated and has everything you need. The owner was easy to reach out. Although, we did not have any issue during our stay.The house is located right on the ocean with beautiful ocean view, specially the sun rise view. There are few beaches near by but we mostly used the Museum beach which is at walking distance. There is a small convenience store near by which was very useful. We also walked to Scituate Light House (1 mile away from the house) and downtown (1.5 mile away from the house) everyday. It was fun to explore the area. We drove to Nantasket beach mostly everyday. It is about 25 minutes away by beautiful scenic drive through Scituate and Cohasset. We had a wonderful time at this house and I would recommend it if you are looking for a home with ocean views.

It's the little things...

What a way to spend the day. Our family would wake up and to the sounds of the waves where we would then enjoy a home cooked meal on the patio gazing out at the beautiful ocean. The kids could walk down to the beach and play then end the day watching the olympics, a perfect stay. But what I enjoyed the most was the little things the house provided to make your stay so warm and inviting. From the Keurig coffee machine and all the kitchen supplies needed to help feed my family, to the washer and dryer, not to mention the plenty of sleeping space, kayak, and beach supplies. The house was nicely decorated and felt up to date and current, a breath of fresh air! From the time I walked into the house until the time I left I felt at home. Thank you!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming beach house in Scituate. My family rented a few homes for a family wedding. We think ours was the best! The house was spotlessly clean. Plenty of seating in living/ dining area for a family of 8. The kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything you could need. Water equipment and outdoor seating was plentiful (and clean too) The beds were comfy. Had to do a little planning for showers with just the one full bath to share but it was not a problem. And the Washer and dryer worked efficiently. This house is right ON the water! The ocean sounds lulled us to sleep and the sunrises on the water were breathtaking. Antoinette was a fantastic host - attentive and helpful at every turn. Especially when a storm briefly took out the internet, she patiently walking us through the troubleshooting with success. Highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again.

Breathtaking sunrises!

My family and I vacationed in this home the end of summer. I’m not a morning person but this house changed that with the spectacular sunrises. Never been to Scituate before but the town is amazing and everyone is SO nice! Super close to many attractions and even took my boys to a baseball game at Fenway one night. Only challenge are the rocks if you have toddlers.

No issues renting this property. Only issue was the beach chairs, but we went and purchased 2 extra chairs

Beautiful and Pristine

What an incredibly welcoming place! We spend a week with our kids and grandchildren every year and I don't think we've ever been in a house that felt as much like a home and as little like a rental as this one did. It was absolutely beautiful, with everything we could possibly need. We had beautiful weather for the most part, and happily spent it on the patio and in the rocks. There were several good restaurants just a short drive away, and we really enjoyed the lighthouse and its jetty.

Great house on the water

Stayed here with my husband and 2 children. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful views. Owners were very responsive - we had to delay our arrival 1 day due to a storm and they were great in accommodating different check-in/check-out times.

Fabulous week!

The house has everything you can think of. The owners were so sweet and had everything set up for the 1 year old in our group. The ocean was clear and beautiful, and the tide pools did not disappoint. We loved the week and wanted to stay longer. We hope to stay again! 😍

Great Getaway

This beach front home is immaculate and well-stocked for a comfortable vacation experience. The outside deck is beautiful and the patio puts you right on the water. A relaxing place to spend a week away!

House was exactly as described. We could not of been happier. The back deck was right in the ocean.

There is not one negative thing we could say about our stay here! The hosts were quick to respond d with any questions we had. The house was immaculate. Everything we needed was there. We hope to be back next year

Ocean Oasis

This house was perfect for our family! We spent so much time playing corn hole, fishing and just hanging out. The house was plenty big enough for 8 adults. It’s in a great location!

Perfect Family Getaway!

We loved every minute of our vacation! We spent all of our time relaxing and playing on the back patio overlooking the ocean. This house has everything you need and the location is perfect. We brought way more stuff than we needed to - the house was well stocked. Advisory for families with young children - the ocean was too rough for our toddlers to swim right at the house, but other beaches are just a short walk away. The beach is very rocky so not perfect conditions for toddler (sand) play but they had countless hours of fun on the patio using the rocks to make a mini golf course, load them into their dump trucks and coloring them with markers! There is also a stand up paddle board and paddle boat for use. Most nights were spent roasting marshmallows around the fire. The neighbors on both sides were so incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the most relaxing vacations we’ve had with our children; we are already looking forward to rebooking again next year!

Perfect Family weekend

From booking straight through checkout this was such an easy process. The home is spotless and well appointed. Right on the water. It was the perfect spot to have some much needed family time. The owner was always just a message away! Looking forward to staying again!
