This spacious, comfortable home has a large living area for all to gather and a large tropical yard to relax in with seasonal fruit trees.

When it is time to dine, there is a large kitchen or an outdoor BBQ for grilling delectable island treats. There are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance too.

More Charming and Classic Hawaii Than You Can Believe

Quick walk to the beach, no car needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect for a quick morning swim before heading out for the day. The 4 bedrooms worked well for our group, bathrooms were nicely updated, plenty of hot water and great towels. The house is a wonderful older simple island style home with a great back yard. Yes the kitchen could use an update, but all appliances worked and plenty of kitchen tools for cooking. The house is exactly as pictured. Many of the wooden doors and drawers would benefit from being planed so they don’t stick as much.

Wonderful Thanksgiving with the family

The house was great! Comfortable for all of us! Lots of room to gather and also quiet spaces as well. The yard was wonderful plenty of privacy and room for our 6 year old granddaughter to run off energy. Couldn’t beat the proximity to two beaches, one for the adults and a safe one for the littles. Don’t hesitate book it now!

Pleasant Hawaiian Holiday with little ones

Us grandparents along with son, DIL, one toddler and one infant had a lovely time. The house was spacious and the outdoors inviting. We had room for the little ones to nap quietly. We were close enough for a 2 year old to walk to the beach to play. The kitchen was well supplied so that we could eat in some days. Take out food was close and numerous restaurants a short drive away. There were plenty of activities for everyone.

Lovely old style house, beautiful beach

We all loved this house, lots of room, easy to also have privacy even though it’s single wall. Big lawn. Clean! Comfortable beds and furniture. I was tempted to not say good things so it would be easily available to us again. May be harder w children because of noise factor, but not if family is comfortable w some noise.

Family Vacation to Poipu

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the Pane Road House so our family could join us on our annual trip to Poipu. They found it very comfortable for 7 people.The home is very spacious with 2 large bedrooms, 2 smaller bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large common living area with dining space, and a small, but well equipped kitchen. It easily accommodated our 7 family members. They really enjoyed the large, private back yard.The property is well maintained and only a block from Brennecke's Beach. We have reserved it again for them next year.

Classic bungalow hideaway

Our party of five adults and one baby enjoyed this spacious older bungalow, a five minute walk to the beach. Plenty of room to spread out and a huge backyard with barbecue and orange tree . Lots of fans and louvered windows for nighttime cooling. Three bathroom facilities helped with the morning rush! On a quiet street with other older homes. Some weekend noise from a nearby sports bar but nothing we objected to.

Quaint Kauai Getaway.

I loved my stay here at Pane Rd. The house was just the right size. We had my husband and three 18 year old girls. There was so much to do on this isle. The walk to the beach was less than 2 minutes. The home had 2 boogie boards, 4 or 5 beach chairs. 2 umbrellas. A large cooler and 2 sets of snorkeling gear. The home needed to be closed up during the day due to sudden showers. We got in each night around 6 and immediately opened all the louvre windows. The house cooled very quickly. The bbq did its job. The home had plenty of beach towels as well as towels for bathing. The washer and dryer were practically new and easy to use. The fridge made lots of ice for drinks very quickly. There were 2 TVs. One in the spare room and one in the living room. We rarely used it though, but they appeared to be of good quality. There was one board game. (Clue) There was a 10 in 1 game box with chess, checkers, etc. We did not get into them. There was plenty of dishes. The rice cooker and blender worked great. My girls made my birthday cake in the oven and it came out great. We used the stovetop with ease. We were provided shopping bags at the agency. I was given a little take home lunch cooler with goodies inside. We had our own driveway. The home was pretty quiet. It did get noisy early in the morning. We got up before that though(who sleeps in when in paradise), so the noise from the tennis courts behind the home and the construction across the street did not bother us. Thursday evening we were even serenaded with Hawaiian music from the resort behind the home. I loved it, as it was our last home cooked meal during our trip. I loved this home. I would like to suggest a little wagon to lug all the beach gear more efficiently. There was plenty to do. Each day we explored a different part of the island. We easily could have stayed several more weeks. The home was a great home base for our trips. The home is well taken care of. There are mango trees in the backyard and lots of feral fowl and cats. They were cute to look at and added to the ambiance. After a few days, you really just get used to the cacophony of sounds. I also want to thank the rental agency for making all the arrangements so easy for my family. I will be sure to return to use this company the next time I come to Hawaii. The shop to rent boards was 4 minutes from the home as well as the tasty food and drinks at Brennecke’s. Wonderful home. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. I felt safe there too.

Great home for a family get together

Reviewer Comments: The house is a short walk from some great beaches, a choice of surfing, snorkeling, swimming with turtles and monk seals, and a safe kids beach. The house was spacious with room to spread out indoors and out, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is an older place which we quite like, but that does mean the kitchen is a bit dated and doors stick. But it had everything we needed. We stayed in December and with the louvres open and fans the house was always a comfortable temperature by day and night. We would be happy to stay here again. We really enjoyed the Napali Coast tour we did, as well as several restaurants nearby.

The nearby beaches worked for experienced boogie boarders and our young grandchildren. We loved seeing the sea turtles and seals. The house was roomy and comfortable. While I wouldn't call it a luxurious home, it was clean, well-equipped and offered privacy. It was perfect for us. If asked what could make the house better, I'd say an outdoor shower and boogie boards to go with the beach chairs and great linens.

Kitchen small but sufficient. Backyard has BBQ, table w/umbrella & chairs. Lots of room for kids to play. Beach chairs provided in garage for carrying on the short walk to the beach. Also provide beach towels and lots of bath towels. Great communication with staff if you need anything. Both families love it here.Kalapaki Joe's Restaurant just a short walk behind house. Very good food! Traveled to Hanalei for kayaking and watched grandson & Dad surf. Daddy O's Restaurant in Lihue does excellent breakfast (only). Have to visit Kauai Coffee and there are various Art nights on Kauai. Koloa town is must visit. We recommend this home for a great time on Kauai. Mahalo to rental ladies. A lot of Aloha.

KVR staff were very helpful, provided us with a new kettle and sorted out the issues with the phone and television. Garage was very useful. General condition of property was good. However, the wooden floors could have been cleaner. We also reported a hole in the side of the property that allowed partial access for birds.
