This is our first time staying in Shipyard as we normally stay in Sea Pines. We loved it! Getting to the beach was much easier as they have a parking lot that doesn’t fill up until mid morning. The unit was clean and the kitchen and bathrooms were updated. The kitchen was also very well stocked! We enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. The carpet does need to be replaced and I’m guessing that’s next on the to-do list. The king-size mattress also needs replaced. It’s a little too soft! All in all a great value and would return! Also a very easy check-in process, and communication from the rental company was excellent!

Great location and very nice property

We had a great stay, was in a great location and the property was nice and clean. Great for pets as well. A deer walked by our window!

Great Family Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was very enjoyable. My interactions with the management company were easy and they were very responsive. The unit was pet friendly and provided us with a nice quiet place to recharge.

The location was perfect with easy beach access and close to the amenities. House was very comfortable and clean and fit our need perfectly. We will be back.

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed ourselves. We felt very comfortable and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the patio area. We also enjoyed relaxing at the pool and on the beach. This was a very nice family vacation and we would consider returning for another visit.

Laughter, reminiscing and relaxing

We’ve stayed in Evian previously and were familiar with it so that part was easy. It’s a wonderfully serene area place to spend your vacation. And Shipyard Plantation it very convenient to all amenities.

2nd Stay at this location

We really like the layout of this property and it was a short 5 minute bike ride to the beach. Shipyard is a beautiful location to take a nice evening bike ride or walk. It is convenient to the grocery stores, shopping and a great variety of restaurants.

This property needs a facelift.The carpeting was soiled in many places especially upstairs. The furniture in the living room was uncomfortable. The tv in the living room was way too small and also was not a smart tv, while the tv in the master upstairs was the right size for the living room. There were no beach towels available at all- we were the only ones with white obvious bath towels at the pool. The patio table and chairs were dirty. We stayed at 245 Evian in 2025 and paid much less for much better accommodations. So, for the money we spent, we were disappointed with this property.

Furniture, unfortunately is subjective to comfort. Most of our owners do not provide beach towels, this information is given to the guests ahead of time so that they know to bring them along. We still hope that you had a good time on Hilton Head while you were here.

Great 4 night stay with extended family. The townhouse was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. With two dining areas, there was plenty of seating for meals, puzzles, and playing games. The kitchen and baths have been updated. The Wifi connection is good and there is a desk in the Master for anyone that needs to work a bit while on vacation. The Shipyard development has nice bike/walking paths throughout and the unit was 5 minutes by bike from the beach access area where there is limited parking and easily accessible drop-off area. We also biked to Coligny Plaza shopping and restaurants in about 15 minutes. Two things we would change,..1) Upgrade TV - the living area television is very small for the room, and2) Replace the mattress in the Master.Best features...1) Location - great proximity and accessibility to beach, pool, tennis, restaurant, shopping, and entertainment options,2) Outdoor spaces - quiet community, peaceful, private setting.FAVORITE thing....Sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the back patio watching nature and the activity on the tee box across the lagoon. Even in 90 degree July weather with high humidity, the shaded patio was always pleasantly cool with a constant light breeze.

The Condo was roomy.

The condo was very roomy, conveniently located, and generally clean. It could however use a touch more care and a good carpet cleaning.

With being a pet friendly property, the Summer season really takes a toll on the carpet, however, we do have it cleaned once every month-2 months. It was fantastic!

We absolutely loved the home, it’s so pretty. The perfect size for our family of 5! The views are just beautiful! The home was so clean and well kept, super comfortable!!! The distance to the beach is great, 10 minute bike ride. Perfect!!

Nice home, great location.

We enjoyed our stay in Shipyard's Evian complex. This home was very close to great tennis and so-so golf, and a short 3/4 mile walk or bike ride to the beach. The house is a bit dated and could use some work to bring it up to par w/other VRBOs in which we've stayed.

Classic HHI property

We stay at HHI every other year. This property is one of the better ones we've stayed at. The patio area was exceptionally nice. I wish the TV's were a little bigger, but who really cares? We were at the beach.

Quiet but close

We have stayed here before. They allow big dogs which is key. But it’s always clean and doesn’t smell like dogs at all. Plenty of space, great porch. Easy bike to beach or pool. Comfy beds. If I had to complain I would suggest updating the TVs and frying pans Would definitely stay here again
