Family Vacation

We really enjoyed ourselves. We felt very comfortable and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the patio area. We also enjoyed relaxing at the pool and on the beach. This was a very nice family vacation and we would consider returning for another visit.

Perfect for a family vacation, we enjoyed our week in Hilton Head with three generations family plus our doggies and had all of the comforts of home. Appreciate having a full kitchen, laundry, and separate space with separate bathrooms for everyone. Especially loved sitting outside by the pond in the morning and evening to listen to the birds, watch our alligator friend, and enjoy quiet time to begin and end the day.

Laughter, reminiscing and relaxing

We’ve stayed in Evian previously and were familiar with it so that part was easy. It’s a wonderfully serene area place to spend your vacation. And Shipyard Plantation it very convenient to all amenities.

2nd Stay at this location

We really like the layout of this property and it was a short 5 minute bike ride to the beach. Shipyard is a beautiful location to take a nice evening bike ride or walk. It is convenient to the grocery stores, shopping and a great variety of restaurants.

Shipyard

We loved the location, the layout was good and the backyard views were great. We are older and enjoyed the main room recliners and the fact that the rental was pet friendly. The decor of this property is dated and could use a refresher. The TVs and electronics are very much in need of an upgrade. We will consider a return visit next year. My wife unfortunately left behind a valuable set of gold earrings- we hope that Sea Turtle will respond to our request for a response from their cleaning services people. Thanks.

The Condo was roomy.

The condo was very roomy, conveniently located, and generally clean. It could however use a touch more care and a good carpet cleaning.

It was fantastic!

We absolutely loved the home, it’s so pretty. The perfect size for our family of 5! The views are just beautiful! The home was so clean and well kept, super comfortable!!! The distance to the beach is great, 10 minute bike ride. Perfect!!

Nice home, great location.

We enjoyed our stay in Shipyard's Evian complex. This home was very close to great tennis and so-so golf, and a short 3/4 mile walk or bike ride to the beach. The house is a bit dated and could use some work to bring it up to par w/other VRBOs in which we've stayed.

Classic HHI property

We stay at HHI every other year. This property is one of the better ones we've stayed at. The patio area was exceptionally nice. I wish the TV's were a little bigger, but who really cares? We were at the beach.

Quiet but close

We have stayed here before. They allow big dogs which is key. But it’s always clean and doesn’t smell like dogs at all. Plenty of space, great porch. Easy bike to beach or pool. Comfy beds. If I had to complain I would suggest updating the TVs and frying pans Would definitely stay here again

Had to contact management a few times this year and they were very responsive and friendly! The only recommendation for improvement would be to replace the carpet upstairs.

The place was clean and comfortable. The agency that managers Sea Turtle was nice. But the facility they use to rent the bikes and chairs need some new equipment. They should invest the money it costed in new bikes

A wonderful getaway

Reviewer Comments: We are retired and stay in Evian for two months every winter.We have gone thru a few agencies, but Sea Turtles Getaway is by far the best. Our villa is always clean and ready, and the personnel is friendly and responsive. We have used Sea Turtles for four years and will definitely stay with them!!!

Great location. Layout fine. Lots of dust. Counter tops not clean. Lots of towels. Not many paper goods or cooking accessories. Misc plates and cups.

Clean and well maintained. Quick bike ride to beach and shops. Perfect location on Island. Would definitely recommend. Be sure to bring beach towels as only bath towels are supplied.

We Loved It!

I agree with the other reviewers that this place is a little dated but everything else was great. Very clean and plenty of room for 6 adults. We almost didn't rent this unit because a previous review mentioned dangerous steps. I don't understand what they were talking about. The steps were carpeted and easy to navigate for our mature dog. The back yard had an amazing amount of wildlife. We spend many hours just watching the birds.
