Enjoy your stay @ 1st Street Retreat, a newly updated DOG FRIENDLY open concept studio apartment with private entrance and fenced in yard. Location is 1 block to the beach and walking distance to all your favorite restaurants like the famous Taco Shop right on the corner, Mango Mangos, Beach Comber, Café Eleven, Sunset Grille, Salt Life and the best ice cream in town Cone Heads.

Get in the car and take a quick 7 minute car ride to historic downtown and enjoy all it has to offer.


The outside retreat consists of outdoor shower which is great after a day at the beach with your dog, Propane BBQ, table and chairs, a propane fire pit for those cool relaxing evenings which goes perfect with a glass of wine.
We also provide beach chairs, beach towels, and beach cart.

Inside you will enjoy the beach feel of the open concept apartment with free wireless internet, Smart TV for streaming. Dog friendly floors, King size bed, kitchen with stainless steel appliances which consist of oven, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, toaster oven, blender, dishes, cups, bowls, silverware etc. Bathroom with walk in shower and all amenities you need.

We allow up to 2 dogs, there is a dog fee of $75.00

SORRY NO CATS ALLOWED DUE TO ALLERGIES

All you need to do is pack your clothes and your dog and come and enjoy our little retreat.

This is the ideal location with the beach right across the street and restaurants within walking distance. We really loved the backyard for the dogs and the bed was comfortable. The apartment was really clean and well kept. We will definitely return!

Beautiful property, great location, amazing amenities!! Very clean and well appointed property. I love the grass dog run and the chaise lounges on the patio!! I do wish the kitchen had more counter space but other than that this is an amazing property and I will definitely be back.

Smelled lemony fresh and so clean! It's in such a convenient spot for walking to the beach, food and drink Our pup Bella loves chasing lizards on the patio (she never catches them) We will be back again

This was the most perfect, pet friendly place ever. Everything we needed for the week was available. It was clean, easily assessable, perfect for our dog as the back was fenced in so we felt safe for her to come in and out. Furniture and bed were super comfortable. Amenities were great and we took advantage of the outside grill along with all the kitchen appliances. The air conditioning was on point. We stayed comfortable the whole week. The host was super helpful and we are so appreciative to have a place this close to the beach on our first visit to St Augustine. We absolutely could not have asked for a better stay. Looking forward to returning already. Top notch all around!

Wonderfully close to the beach in a less crowded area close to great food places and a quiet location for light sleepers and seemed very safe. Very comfortable living and sleeping spaces.

This place is the perfect getaway! -very clean -private -bed,pillows,couch super comfortable -pet friendly -air conditioning awesome -full kitchen with dishes and all appliances -walking distance to the beach (towels,beach chairs,umbrella,cart provided)-walking distance the main strip with several restaurants (the taco place across the street is amazing!!)-the back yard is absolutely perfect for hanging out (grill,fire pit, fenced in, grass for the dogs)-host was very nice and easy to communicate with Loved this place and definitely hope to stay again! Highly recommend for a 2 person friend or couple vacation!

Great place and great location

We had a great time here! The place was clean and spacious and just what we needed. The location is great, short walk to the beach, right by A1A Burrito Works, and enjoyed a bunch of great restaurants downtown. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The property was absolutely the perfect place to spend time in St. Augustine Beach with your furry family. All the amenities were well thought out, clean and comfortable. Very safe yard to spend time outside with your pets and enjoy the beautiful weather. Many thanks to our host who was very accommodating and on-site if we needed anything. 5-stars plus!!

My husband and I chose St Augustine Beach because it is a nice beach town that is dog friendly. After traveling to a few places and finding issues with finding accommodations that are clean, we'll maintained and dog friendly we chose our house in st augustine which is 1 block from the beach and we loved the fact we can offer a Pet friendly place to stay for others.
