Great place for our needs. Close to the beach, restaurants and stores. Kapa’a is perfectly located in the middle of the island making it convenient to get to all the sites and popular beaches.

Very comfortable and clean. Really nice location which is right near restaurants and stores as well as the paved 9 mile beach walkway. Chickens are everywhere so bring some earplugs, Haha! We really enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for mentioning the chickens. I will leave a bag full of earplugs at the house. sorry, we get so used to roosters crowing that we forget they are a nuisance.

It was okay, the condo needs some maintenance and some fixing up in some areas. Loved the location, perfectly central to everything we did. Beds were both comfortable.

Great location! Looks like the pictures. Only downside and not the owners fault is the chickens waking us up at 3am. If you are q light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Everything else was great!

From communication to finding out what unit we were staying in, the communication was poor. Note I undersand that there was a hurricane, I understand. But when I get automated text messages, I’m not sure how reliable information was questionable answers. We didn’t have any idea the “exact unit” we were renting. Hours later after we tried “every” vacant unit available, about an hour later, we finally found it! Or which parking spot to park until we figured out the unit we were staying at. Once in the unit everything looked good. As the time went on, we discovered that neither electrical outlets in the bathrooms, worked. The outlets in the hall way don’t work! There are only two stove burners that do work. There shower is unsafe (lack of non-slip mat) I have balance issues and I slipped a lil in the shower. We had barely enough toilet paper for 4 people. We were here for the celebration of life of my father. We appreciate that we had a place to stay. It was convenient.

We are so sorry that the property had issues. We really respond to all issues if and when they are reported. We have a 24/7 number and have workers nearby. But most importantly we don’t want any guest to have issues. We were not aware that only 2 burners were working and are replacing the stove. The electrical issues were solved by resetting the breaker box.

The location was pretty good. It was a nice walk to the beach area. It was not a swim type beach maybe can only go ankle high. Was able to see a beautiful sunrise each morning. About a 5 min drive to a beach where you can snorkel or swim. Great Thai food truck nearby & lots of stores. The place has no AC although, lots of fans. The ocean view is obstructed by trees & you have a view of an empty lot with an old tractor. The place was a little dated. Needs a little TLC from wear & tear or age. Back door slider was hard to open & close. Balcony had a bunch of stuff for the beach as needed. Although looked a little messy. Overall, the price was right. Plenty of space if we brought kids or shared w/ a couple.

Location was excellent! Pictures show the place exactly & the view. You can easily walk to the beach. Also great sea breezes throughout place with the louvre windows.

Amazing location! This is probably one of the best places to stay on the island & you’re literally just steps from the Kapaa bike bath & a 2 minute walk to a great beach!

Thank you so much for mention the location. Visitors just aren’t aware that this location is about 1/2 way between north ahore and poipu and the 9 mile walking path makes it unique on Kauai

The location was amazing. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet complex. Roosters are the exception. They did not bother us. A few cosmetic issues and the host Donna, offered to fix them immediately. Actually perfect for my first visit to Hawaii. I would stay there again!Rhonda

Thanks for mentioning the beach and the roosters. I try to leave earplugs for guests but they disappear I will double down with multiple locations on the property with earplugs.

Great location for all activities on Kauai. Steps away from great restaurants and groceries in area. If you enjoy a beach walk or bike ride it was definitely a plus being on the bike path that runs through Kapaa. Great bike rental shop at the end of the street. Clean and well stocked. Really enjoyed the back porch with the ocean breeze.

We had a great time. The location is very central and we loved being able to walk to the beach for sunrise.The host was very responsive and proactively reached out to make sure we were doing well.The house was clean and comfortable to stay in and we had marked parking so we didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot.
