Simple but Efficient

The property is what it looks like in the posting. Very simple but clean and close to the beach. Perfect place if you are just looking for a place to put your head at night.

I would not stay here ever again. The main photo of the house wasn’t even the house we were given. There photos of a washer and dryer but there was not one in the house. Exposed carpet tack strips, burrs in the carpet and cracked tiles ment we had to wear shoes inside at all times. The house wasn’t cleaned well. I didn’t even have a dish rag, I had to used a towel to clean dishes. No instructions were given for o check out. Pet fee was not disclosed up front. The air vents and returns were filthy. The kitchen cabinets were disgusting, I washed everything before using them (honestly you always should but these were extra gross) the table out side was so rusted, which happens at the beach, but there were shards of rusted metal all over the deck. There was no broom or vacuum to clean. I found socks, underwear and goldfish in the closet and under the sofa. The coffee maker didn’t have the basket so we had to buy coffee every morning. Positives:The location was great. Very close to beach access. Beach was greatIt was a safe locationWater pressure was greatI would NOT recommend staying here with small children. The deck rails are rotten and a safety hazard. And there is no way in hell I’d let my baby/toddler on that floor.

Disappointing

Manager largely unresponsive Cottage very close to beach.Cottage was very rudimentary. For example, eating, drinking and utensils barely adquate.

Stay

Very old and dark. Clean. I mistook the two minute walk to the beach to mean it was on the beach. Couldn’t hear or see the ocean from this house.

location great, house terrible.

there were burrs stuck throughout the carpet, a stench of sewerage or trash rot at the bottom of the steps, wifi non-existent and when contacted the owner nothing was done and no response, lights dont work in bedroom or outside, only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults for 4 days, lawn not mowed and totally overgrown, no beach chair that you would want to use, no screens in window. rusty chairs on front porch-all for more than $1800. too bad this house didnt have a little TLC or upkeep since the location is great, which was the only beneficial aspect.
