Rustic and comfort are what you will find before you even enter this lovely two-bedroom cabin. Walk inside and you will know you have struck gold in this mountain cabin. Although affectionately called a cabin, it is stock full of everything you need to make it feel like your home away from home. Sit in the swing or just take a load off and do some rocking in one of the many rockers just waiting for you. If you want to take an afternoon nap, there is a hammock just calling for you to come and lie down in it. Inside, you will want to try out the primary suite’s jetted tub. Outside, sink into the oversized hot tub as you take in the sights and sounds of nature around you.

The open and spacious living room features a cozy fireplace to keep you warm on chilly evenings. The flat-screen TV makes it a great place to gather for a movie night. Want to save money and cook some meals in? No problem. The kitchen provides all the necessary appliances and tools to do just that. Of course, you will want to try some of the local fare as well.

After a full day of adventures, sink into the king-size bed in the primary bedroom or the queen-size bed in the second bedroom. Need more bedding? The queen-size sofa sleeper will accommodate two more guest. Two full bathrooms means no one will have to wait in line for their turn. Fresh bedding and towels await you, and the washer and dryer ensure you can pack light for your mountain vacation.

Mother/daughter trip

Enjoyed a few days in the mountains. It was exciting seeing a mama bear and her 3 cubs on the property although a little close for comfort!😲. The property was well stocked and we enjoyed the hot tub daily. There were a couple of things that weren’t I working order, however I made sure to let the property manager know and they were quick to respond. I would recommend this property for future get always.

TN hiking

Very clean, well kept property at the top of a mountain. Part of the Ober Gatlinburg Sky tram line is located right next to the property, but it’s quiet. It was well stocked but needs a working blender, new pans and a new mattress in the guest bedroom.

Loved the cabin! Back deck amazing -- coffee every morning and happy hour every evening.

Cabin was great - beds good, wondereful bath towels, kitchen well stocked. Would have liked to have more dish towels, a dish cloth and oven mitts! Grilled out 3 nights, used the hot tub. Last morning there we had a mama bear and 2 cubs playing in our backyard off the deck! So fun!

Beautiful and comfortable like being home.

This house met and exceeded our expectations. We were in a beautiful setting with a amazing view. Close to down town but back up the mountain to the peaceful cabin. The fireplace was a blessing it was cold out . Also really enjoyed the hot tub odd as it was and cold as it was it felt amazing. Only drawback for me was the decks got slippery when it froze.

Best Vaca Ever

The cabin was perfect for our extended weekend couples vacation!! It was very clean and had everything we needed! We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after our daily adventures of an ATV tour, white water rafting trip, and walking around Gatlinburg! The pool was extremely convenient and fairly close to the cabin as well!! We had daily bear visit every morning which was ok until the morning we were leaving .. he didn’t want us to leave apparently because he kept circling the truck so we couldn’t get in. We’ll definitely be back though as it was the best vacation ever!

This place is amazing!

This place is so amazing! My wife and I are definitely wanting to come back ASAP we loved the house! The house was so clean and the hot tub was clean and ready to go when we got there. The only down fall was the mast bed was to soft for us but went don’t care we are most definitely coming back lol. The house is right next to the slopes and the lift goes right over the house which is really cool. We thought the lift would be load going over the house but it really didn’t bother us. Thank you for and amazing week!!!!!

Adorable cabin

The property is situated beautiful with wooded views all around. While there are other houses in view it always felt private. Everything was clean, in working order and modern. We used the kitchen dishes and appliances without wishing there was something else and the grill was used in one of the tastiest meals we had that week. Our goal was to spend a lot of time riding in the Great Smokies and the location was perfect for that. The parking area was steep to get in but perfectly level for parking bikes.

Three days stay

The property was very dusty and outdated .. the beds were comfortable and the location was ok. It would be a great view in the winter. Some of the small appliance's like the microwave and blender didn’t work properly. Toilet seats were loose.. so make sure to bring your tool belt 🙄..

Peaceful, cozy cabin in the mountains.

Everything was nice with the exception of not having a pool pass upon arrival to get into the pools. We tried several times to contact the rental company to get our pool pass. Finally we got the pass on day 4 of our trip. Also the dryer does not turn off and is a major fire hazard. I had fallen asleep and our clothes dried for 3 hours. Other than that, everything was great!

Great stay in Alpine Ski Lodge

Our experience at Alpine Ski Lodge was great. Very nice and well kept property and cabin. Hot tub was great and easy to use. Amenities in the cabin were sufficient for our stay. Beds were comfortable, may suggest bringing your own pillows. Access to the cabin was easy and driveway nice and level compared to some we passed on the way up the mountain! We had an issue late one night where it was a little difficult getting a hold of someone, but once the appropriate people were notified the issue was resolved. More contact from the property manager would have been appreciated (call concerning our issue and heads up they were coming over the next day). Even with a hiccup during our stay, our overall experience was great here and we would stay here again, or rent from Jackson Mountain Homes.

Great cabin up high in the mountains

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, fairy well stocked in the kitchen (we could have used some kitchen scissors). We enjoyed having access to the hot tub in the deck and seeing the city lights. The entrance to the national park and to Gatlinburg were close by. The road leading up to the cabin was incredibly steep and needlessly lacking in basic safety features. Railings at a minimum need to be installed and should be brought up with the community to address. Fortunately it was spring so the roads weren’t icy, but we did have bad weather a couple days and driving on these roads (supposedly two lane but was barely so and had terrifying drop offs on both sides of the road in places). The listing needs to clearly state that the cabin is up high on a mountain and that the road leading up to it is steep and requires all wheel or four wheel drive year round. There was only mention if a steep driveway, which is not the road itself.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable and are looking forward to planning another trip to the area.

The cabin for the most part was clean and well furnished. The front porch was in need of cleaning, it was apparent that it had only been swept in front of the chairs as the remainder had not been cleaned in some time. (I have pictures if you would like to see them) Another item is that the cabin is advertised as having a hot tub AND a jacuzzi tub. The jacuzzi had no water turned on to it and the hot tub was locked with no apparent key. Very disappointing! One final thing is the clothes dryer. My wife put a small load of clothes in to dry and set the timer. We then left for the day to enjoy the area’s attractions. When we returned about 9 hours later we discovered that the dryer was still running and HOT. My wife had several items of clothing damaged but moreover the dryer is in my opinion a safety and fire hazard. Before we checked out we did put an “out of order” sign on the dryer.

Great location, not as clean as expected

We booked this trip last minute so we were happy to find a rental So close to the National Park. I was a little taken aback by the cleaning fee but I figured it was worth it. The cabin was very cute, the location was great. Given the extra fee for cleaning We were surprised to find beer bottle tops and cigarette butts in the planters, cobwebs inside and a very dusty patio. My 7 month old is crawling and found a number of paper scraps under the couches and furniture. We still had a great stay- I just felt like the cleaning company was making off with someone’s money! This cabin was cute- the outdoor seat cushions were very worn out and many of the hot tub jets weren’t really working. All that aside- we had a great time and would probably rent here again. The first night we saw a large bear walking down the street and on the second day I was approached by 2 bear cubs while in the driveway. I promptly jumped in the car with my daughter and locked the doors. This bear encounter was a little too close for comfort but I will remember it forever! Great cabin, great location, maybe check in with the cleaning company?

Beautiful Cabin

The property is great, clean, and well-kept. Super-quiet and peaceful. The only disappointment was the lack of a mountain view, but not a deal-breaker.

Mountain vacation

Beautiful mountain home! Well maintained and very clean. The home was well stocked with anything we needed. Close enough to enjoy the activities of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but far enough away to be out of the chaos. Not a complaint because it was clearly disclosed in the listing but it is important to reiterate that the road to the cabin is very steep and curvy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Alpine Ski Lodge

Overall the cabin was nice. There are to many fake flowers and greenery that need to go. They were all very dusty and out dated. Behind the doors and the air registers needed a good cleaning. The mattress on the queen bed needs to be replaced as well. Update the decor to more woodsy decor and get rid of the fake flowers and greenery to give it a more Cabin feel. Also an outdoor table and chairs would have been nice to eat meals on the deck.
