Built in 2016, this beach house offers the perfect getaway for those families seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. 50' from the sand with stunning ocean views, you can unwind and soak up the sun in the comfort of your own private home. This rental comes fully furnished and equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, beach equipment, cozy bedrooms, and a spacious living area. This house has an open concept kitchen with beautiful quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, opening to the living room with large flat screen tv, chase, and dining table. An open concept space leads out to a spacious BBQ patio with ocean views and lounge chairs.

The ground level has the master bedroom with a large flat screen tv and luxurious master bathroom. The second floor has 2 more bedrooms. The second bedroom has a queen bed with sliding glass doors to a beautiful balcony with stunning ocean views. The third bedroom has a full size pull out couch with another large flat screen tv, typically ideal for kids sleeping arrangements. This room can also be used as a sitting room or tv room for the kids. It also has a glass door to the balcony with gorgeous ocean views.

There is a beautiful full bathroom and a washer/dryer on the second floor.

Location, location, location! Within a short walking distance to great restaurants, bars, markets, shops, and entertainment, yet far enough to peacefully relax when desired. 4 blocks south of Belmont Park. 2 miles to lively downtown Pacific Beach and 3 miles to local favorite Ocean Beach. A perfect location for a peaceful vacation and also a short ride to the many fun locations and activities around San Diego. Close to lots of family activities including biking, kayaking, paddle boarding or boat rentals. A quick drive to Downtown, Gaslamp, Old Town, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Little Italy, Point Loma and more.

Towels and linens are provided. There are also beach towels, chairs and umbrellas and an outside shower to rinse after the beach.

There is 1 parking space for midsized car. SUVs and most pickups will not fit. 72" width max. See photo.

The unit has high speed WiFi and cable tv.

The perfect home away from home!!

The ground floor can be rented as a 1 bedroom (2 people) in the off season.

Great location!

Couldn’t have been better! It was clean and beautiful. Walk to restaurants, etc. So close to the beach! Great communication with owner. Well stocked. Home away from home. We will be back.

Steps to beach and restaurants

Super great location , enjoyed the taco stand on the block and the variety of fun and restaurants at Belmont Park. Parking was tight for a Tesla Model X, and crawling thru the back was needed, but that was OK (we expected it)

Wonderful Vacation Getaway

Staying here was what my family And I needed. We stayed here for Labor Day weekend. The check-in process was easy. The house was very clean. The parking was tight which we were told ahead of time but our 2018 Honda Odyssey did fit. This cozy house was just steps from the beach. And being lobar day weekend this part of the beach was not as overly packed like it was down a bit further from the beach.It’s also just steps away from a food market, restaurants and shops. We will be back for sure. Thank you for making everything easy for us during our stay.

Great Stay

Loved this house. It gave us the space we needed and was very close to the beach. We have a Toyota highlander with a Thule on top. Parking was tight but not impossible. I slept on the sofa couch with my infant nearby and thought it was very comfortable. I do think it is important to note that the owner lives above the home. While some might find this to be a comfort, we found it to be intrusive and never quite felt like we weren’t being watched.

Extra charges

The home was not very clean upon entering even though a cleaning person was there when we arrived. I was charged an extra $100 for not washing some beach towels and was told that was sent to me in an email. I can provide the email that portion is cut off and I was unaware of that. I was also told there were spots on the couch which we would like to see because we had no accidents at all. The couch was not in the best shape when we arrived but considering the location we didn’t mind.

A Family Friend's Wedding Weekend

This Mission Beach gem was perfect for our family visit to San Diego. The house was centrally located, steps from a beautiful beach and the fenced-in yard was perfect for us to relax and let our 1 yr. old grandson run around. The house was well equipped and Ginny was very accommodating to our requests. The only issue was parking (the house has a designated spot for a small/midsize car but we had a minivan rental)- street parking is tricky.

Overall a great property. It would have been nice if the 3rd bedroom had an actual bed in it, and not a pullout. Other than that, the property was excellent

Perfect location, best hosts

The property is just as described. Great views of the beach from upstairs bedrooms. Clean. Perfect location to get to the beach, yet off it enough to be relaxing away from crowds. Neighbors are wonderful. BBQ grill is added plus for home cooking. Can't wait to go hack

San Diego Beach House

We had a great stay at this beach house. The house was clean and well appointed. We loved eating dinner on the patio. Proximity to the beach is a big plus as well as the short drive to Seaworld. For information, we were able to fit our minivan in the parking space but we had to get out first before my husband parked and then he came out the back. Do not plan on street parking because there will be none.

Great location

We had a great stay here. Location is perfect, house is clean. The host was super accommodating as well! The third bedroom is a pullout couch so I wouldn’t recommend that for adults but we still enjoyed our stay and the cleanliness/prime location of the home!

Beautiful Home & Fabulous Location

We had a wonderful stay. The home was beautiful and the location was perfect. It was a great family vacation. The only drawback was that the parking was not exactly accurate. It is really designed only for a compact car and does not accomodate medium sized cars. The assigned parking spot is wedged between 2 buildings. After very slowly and carefully backing into the assigned spot, I could only access my vehicle by climbing in and out through the truck/tailgate each time. The backing in process each time took several minutes because the location is way too tight and I did not want to damage the walls on both sides, nor the electric meters that are mounted there. Once parked, there was no room to open any doors. It would be helpful if the owners provided the dimensions of the parking width and cautioned renters that it only accomodates compact size vehicles. Other than the parking challenge, we loved the home and greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great location and comfortable house

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We survived the tropical storm, which was not so bad after all. There were six of us, all adults and the home was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the third bedroom with the pull-out sofa. It was not large enough for two adults but one of us slept on the sofa in the living room, so it worked out fine. I would recommend the home for a vacation stay.

Spectacular!

We had a wonderful stay at Mission Beach! The condo is exactly as described - clean and spacious. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen. Beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, sand toys all included. Beds were comfy. Location was perfect. 2 houses from Mission Beach. 1 block to Mission Bay. An easy walk to Belmont Park. Great Mexican food 1 blood away at Sara's. Local market very close. Super easy communication with Ginny, the owner. Will book here again!

Gorgeous location just off the beach with everything you need!

The house, location and property owners were absolutely fantastic! We could not have had more fun at this house just off Mission Beach. It has everything you need for a family stay, including beach chairs umbrella and a fully stocked kitchen. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Ginny and Art!

Great location, clean

Lovely home, great views from second floor & steps from the beach. Perfect location for mission beach, short distance from roller coaster and shops, but just far enough away for a little more quiet and less crowds. So nice to have towels, chairs, umbrellas, barbecue and beach toys available for vacationers.
