This premium studio is in the back building on the ideal 3rd floor beside the elevator. Enjoy morning coffee on your private roofed balcony with granite counter just steps from the turquoise waters and beach. Gaze at the harbor, ferry dock, and outlaying islands and watch the comings and goings of marine activity. Ease into the day, enjoying cool breezes as the island awakens. An ideal size for two adults, this especially quiet unit is located on the third floor of waterfront building D.

Featuring shades of aqua, blue and green, our oceanfront studio offers a sitting area with sleeper sofa and large flat screen TV (60 cable channels and DVD player), Tommy Bahama king size bed and dresser, full bath, washer/dryer, and granite-topped kitchenette equipped with microwave, full refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, toaster, and blender; and your own private balcony and entrance.

In addition to tropical landscaping and well-kept grounds, Grande Bay resort offers an appealing pool and sun deck as well as hot tub and state-of-the-art fitness center.The front desk of the lobby is staffed 24-7 to answer questions. An elevator transports you and your luggage right to your door. If you book with us, our property manager will greet you at the Cruz Bay ferry dock and transport you to Grande Bay.

Later, catch an open air taxi to the world-renowned north shore beaches (Hawksnest, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon, Maho, etc.) minute away. (We provide beach chairs, towels, and a cooler.) In the evening, walk the short block to town for light fare at the Beach Bar or High Tide or enjoy a gourmet dinner at the Waterfront Bistro, Morgan's Mango, or the Lime Inn. And this is only your first day in paradise!

Perfect Location

This was the 2nd time we stayed in Grande Bay. It’s a perfect location! This unit, however, needs an update. There were no glasses, minimal set of plates, and an old cooler. A real shower curtain would be nice as would a thorough cleaning.

Beautiful view

Condo had amazing view from balcony and had great amount of coolers/beach chairs for use. Also has been recently updated it seemed. Would definitely stay here again!

Memorable week!

This studio was perfect for us. Very clean, beautiful view and fantastic location. Our host was very gracious for getting us a parking spot. We will be booking for here for our next visit.

Excellent location

We had a one room suite that was well equipped. The location is perfect, walking distance to all bars and restaurants. You will want a jeep if you plan to go to some of the further beaches however their seemed to be an increase in the available taxis in comparison to previous years. We had packed some unnecessary items that weren't on the listing such as shampoo/condition and body wash so would be good to know that since it's so hard to carry on liquids. The hair dryer was very low powered so that is something for women to consider. The room was a little outdated but worked perfectly well for our needs. We had a great trip and would definitely stay at this location again. Thank you!

Loved our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Anna May and the property management were very helpful and hospitable. The studio was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, so we were well rested for all our adventures. We hope to stay here again!

Beautiful updated condo, everything you need for your vacation. Location was perfect, walk to many restaurants. Owners and management company were the best, would highly recommended staying.. Can’t wait to go back.

Exactly as described and beautiful view!

We thought this studio was like having a large hotel room with a kitchenette and laundry in the room. The view of the ocean was beautiful! We even had a couple seats on a tiny balcony to watch the scenery. It was very clean and comfortable. The management communicated clearly where to meet to bring us to the property and went over where things were in the area as well as in the studio.

Clean and convenient

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. It was in a very convenient, walkable area; close to shops, restaurants and taxis to the beaches. Upon arrival, we were picked up promptly at the ferry terminal and were taken directly to the condo. All communication was very quick and timely. Would definitely stay there again!

Great Studio

The condo was the perfect size for 2. Short walk to all the restaurants/ bars in Cruz bay. Very quiet location. We enjoyed hanging by the pool and relaxing.

Studio has it all - location, comfort, helpful hosts

I stayed four nights and strongly recommend staying here. Crandall managers Helen & Darren are a great team who make sure all goes smoothly, and the location allowed me to enjoy everything Cruz Bay had to offer. I loved falling asleep to the faint cheerful sounds of the Beach Bar music, and waking up to the gorgeous view and breezes of Crus Bay. Plus, so great to use the pool/hot tub after a hike or beach day. Magical visit! Thank you Anna Marie (owner), Helen & Darren (managers of the rental)

Perfection!

This studio was exactly what we wanted….a clean and comfy apartment that had the essentials - king bed, coffee pot and beautiful views from the balcony. Great location as we walked to town for shopping and dinner! Cannot wait to return next year!

Beautiful Villa

Sunswept is a wonderful place to stay. It is cozy, clean, close to everything in town, close to the pool and hot tub. Its just right for 2 people. The bed is amazing! The view is stunning. It's fun to watch the traffic in town, to hear the music and smell the food in the evening, and watch the boats. We will return!

St John 2023

My second time staying at Grande Bay. Last year I was in building one. It's all great. The property is well-maintained, the location is excellent. I much prefer it to any hotel room. I would recommend it to anybody.

The property management company was exceptional and bent over backwards to accomodate us...in particular darrren and helen. The unit had a fabulous view abd the studio was and was extrenely comfortable. Only downside was construction noise but it was off season and they have to do work sometime. The studio was completely sound proof so it only affected us on the balcony.. we will come back and will definitely book with crandall and grande bay!

This couple has 3 married children and grands who also enjoy hiking and snorkeling on St. John. He is an environmental engineer; she is a communications director. After years of exploring the Virgin Islands through bareboat sailing rentals, we chose St. John because of the spectacular scenery, the warmth of the island people, and the perfect weather.

We love the ever-changing vistas of the harbor: pelicans diving, sailboats coming and going. Hiking and snorkeling are our favorite activities. The proximity to town is another plus - we love leaving the car behind and walking to the many wonderful restaurants in Cruz Bay.

This unit has amazing and spectacular view of the harbor and outlying islands. It was completely renovated in 2014. We love the super - comfortable Lexington Tommy Bahama bed.
