Luxe Beachfront WindMark Cottage w/ Deck!

Hi Dee, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: - There is a small amount of construction on the other side of our home. This has not been an issue for any past guests as it is on the opposite side of the home, away from the guest's deck. - We make it clear in our listing that the homeowners live on site in the attached main home but apologize if this caught you off-guard. We value our guest's privacy and never intervene in their stays. - We appreciate your patience as we worked to refund your stay and look forward to hosting many satisfied travelers!

Hi Steve, we’re sorry to hear that this year didn’t meet your expectations. After discussing your feedback with the owner, they would like to address the following points: -We sincerely apologize for the change in coffee machine. Based on previous guest requests, we had switched to a regular coffee pot, but we have now decided to provide both options for future guests. -The rock sea wall was a recent addition for property protection. We understand this significantly impacted your experience, and we will update our listing photos to reflect this change. Additionally, we will provide a wagon to make transporting beach gear easier. -We appreciate your suggestion about blackout curtains and will be installing them in the bedroom soon. -We would like to offer you a partial refund for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced during your stay. I have asked Evolve to contact you in regards to this. Please be on the lookout for that soon. Thank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again next year.

Hi Meghan, the homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following details: - We're glad to hear that you found the rental beautiful and well-equipped, and that you enjoyed the pool and the Windmark area.- We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the new retaining wall that was installed to keep our property and guests safe. This addition was made recently and we are working on updating the listing photos.- The home remains a great option for guests looking to explore the beautiful surroundings and amenities of Windmark, and one of only a few homes that offers beachfront views and a short walk to the beach.- As you can see by our many great reviews, we are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!
