COMFY DOWNTOWN SPACE

AMAZING LOCATION! Situated in the eclectic uptown area. Enjoy our quiet and peaceful first floor apartment with full kitchen. Queen Size bed and sofa / bed.
Very short walk (100 Yards) to shops, restaurants, bike and scooter rentals as well as area attractions. The beach is also a short 10 minute drive to either Vilano beach or St. Anastasia State Park.
This is a great location to park the car and not drive again until you leave. The apartment has all that you need. The bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. The bathroom is equipped with a walk in shower. Our living area has a couch that also serves as a fold down bed. The dining area sits in a bright and sunny corner of the apartment, perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the necessities for meals at home or just a simple cup of coffee. You will find the apartment to be very clean, safe, smoke free and comfortable. The TV in the apt only plays NETFLIX, the directions for the TV are in the apartment. There is no charge for any of the movies or shows on NETFLIX.

The apartment is located in the eclectic uptown area of St. Augustine. This area is best known for its unique antique shops and is also referred to as the antique district. There are many large Victorian style homes to small quaint cottages. This neighborhood is easy walking distance to the Castillo Fort, bay front and the rest of historic St. Augustine.

Two Bikes are included for exploring. Off street parking available.

Perfect Location!

We were in town for the Celtic Festival, which we have been attending annually for 10 years. It can be difficult to find a hotel for festival weekend so we tried a VRBO. This property checked all the boxes...location...price...clean. wexhavexalready booked

Fantastic location

Located in a quiet spot but walkable to downtown. We thought we would use the bikes provided for guests but found it was so easy to walk everywhere that we never needed them.

Nice little stay

When we got there it was very clean, close to shops and restaurants, parking was great, enough room for my big truck. My wife and I go to St. Augustine all the time and I would definitely rent this place again.

This was a very cozy place to stay and well within walking distance of shopping areas. Parking space is hard to find so walking from the apartment was perfect.

Great place to stay when exploring st. Augustine. Walking distance to downtown and all touristy attractions. Right around the corner from a great pizza place called barillos. Overall highly recommend.

Perfect location!

What a gem to find! In a quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Everyone we encountered in the area was very friendly. The bed was pretty low quality, but that was the only complaint. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect for quick getaway!

This property was the perfect spot for a quick trip to see the light display. Within walking distance of historic district. Came with a parking spot so no need for city parking. Was clean and cozy.

Nice uptown location

Small but comfortable accommodations. Easy walk to nearby antique stores. On site parking and WiFi a plus. The shower could have used a shelf for soap and shampoo bottles. One night stay was sufficient. For a longer stay we would have selected a different property.

Great Location

Can't beat the location, a little attention to detail could make this ideal. We were afraid to turn on the ceiling fan due to the incredible amount of dirt caked on top the the fan blades. There is a musty smell in the small apartment The table top in the kitchen is not attached, my wife almost to a dive to the floor. The outside area is a mess. That being said you can't beat the location if you wish to walk around the historic district, which is why we gave the positive score. We left a day early for a Holiday Inn express.

My stay at COMFY DOWNTOWN SPACE in St Augustine

The unit was cute and had the necessities. Walking distance to downtown George Street and restaurant and shops. Would have been nice to have a gas grill in the backyard. AC unit noisy and no AC in the bedroom so you have to leave the bedroom door open to get any air. My portable ice machine came in handy as the ice machine didn't work. Other than that no complaints..

St. Augustine Apartment behind the pictures of the real house

I surprised my husband with a quick getaway to see the lights in St. Augustine. When we pulled in, the pictures of the house was actually not where we were staying. It was in an apartment behind the house. I tried to pull up the description of the place up on my phone, only to find that it had been taken down. A message from VRBO showed up and said it was taken down by the owner. The apartment in the back was clean, but extremely small. Since we lived 30 minutes away, we decided to drive back home and just stay at our house instead. It was clean, but not very cozy. The apartment was within walking distance to things. Carl did respond when we had some issues before the reservation began (he wanted me to bring my own sheets, pillows and towels and I asked him if he could supply them. Which he did). Overall, I was bummed this property was not what I expected (or remembered from the pictures because I couldn't look at them once booked). I wish I didn't book this place.

Cute Spot Just Shy of Downtown

We were so glad to find this place for our trip to St. Augustine! We were there during the Nights of Lights and it was CROWDED. It was incredibly nice to be able to walk a short distance from the fort and historic downtown to a quiet and clean apartment in a local neighborhood. Carl was responsive and offered assistance if we needed it while we were there. If you're looking to visit downtown, this place is perfect and makes you feel like part of the neighborhood. There were a ton of local businesses just around the corner and breakfast/coffee was only a short distance from there. I couldn't recommend this spot enough.

Great location

Could walk into town, $9 Uber ride if you don’t want to walk. Great restaurants nearby, Carl had great recommendations too. Super cute place.

Great location

The place is only half a mile from the fort and St George street, so for us it was perfect since it’s a short walk to everything we wanted, but wasn’t loud at night since it wasn’t in the middle of all the shops. There are still a few places to eat or get ice cream within a two minute walk though, so it really is a great location. There is off street parking, which is very nice, and the place looks just like the pictures. We would definitely stay there again!
