Casa Bouganvila avec vues panoramiques sur la mer dans quartier résidentiel

The villa is on a 3000 sq m plot in a quiet residential area, in Areias dos Moinhos on a gentle hill, with panoramic sea views all the way round from east to west and views to the Monchique mountains. It is situated within 1.500m of the beach and a seven minutes walk to the centre of Carvoeiro. This villa has three bedrooms, all of them have a direct access to a large terrace with wonderful sea views to the Atlantic over the swimming pool (10 X 5 Metres). The villa is equipped with all amenities including a large well equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge room with International TV via satellite (ASTRA) and an open fire place and a barbecue area at the terrace. A central floor heating gives comfort in winter and the airconditioning is available in summer ( both against separate charge. A large garage that is provided, makes sure that your car is always kept to a comfortable temperature.


Travel : The villa is situated in Areias dos Moinhos, a 45 minutes drive from Faro airport. A car hire is not essential, but will enable guests to visit many of the more secluded beaches and villages nearby. From Lisbon, Carvoeiro is about 3-4 hours drive on the motorway. For those who do not wish to drive while on holiday, there are frequent buses and cheap taxis into the town from Rocha Brava, and courtesy coaches to the water-slide park (Slide and Splash) just the other side of the town. Rocha Brava also runs a courtesy bus into town and back a few times a day.

Nearby Attractions : Carvoeiro has very many bars and restaurants, with varying styles and prices, but all are good value. You can take a boat trip from the town beach to see the nearby caves at Algar Seco. There are two water slide parks within a short drive, and a small marine theme park (Zoomarine) about 30 minutes away. 'Krazy Golf' is a fun day out for the family, a short distance inland. Silves is a historical walled town just 15 kms inland, and the fishing port of Portimao is about 20 minutes drive along the coast westwards. This town has many larger shops. Further inland is the spa town of Monchique where you may take the healing waters.

The property was wonderful in a great location. The outside and the pool area was fantastic however we did feel the inside was tired and needed modernisation. The internet was good, parking was safe and in the villa grounds. Loads of space outside and large rooms inside. Very helpful check in and excellent communication. Overall we had an amazing time and loved the area.

Excellent villa, and good communication with the host. The family loved the holiday. Pool is fantastic, the lounge very comfortable, awesome views from the pool area and rooftop, and only a 15 minute walk to Carvoiero. We would come again in a heartbeat. David who welcomed us was also very helpful.

The property was everything we wanted it to be and more and we really enoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. The owner and David were exceptional and their response even when we had a late nigt emergency was outstanding. We will hoprefully return.

Excellent place to recharged batteries

The house was terrific, in a very safe and quiet environment. The swimming pool is superb and discrete. In general, the home has a very positive energy. The house is located in a very Pacific neighbourhood close to the village at walking distance. Our dogs love the garden full of fruit trees and palms. The owners were very discrete and always answered our WhatsApp—a place to repeat for sure.

Ideal for family Villa Holiday

This amazing Villa is practically perfect. The pool, terrace & gardens are amazing, beautiful and felt like you were on a film set! The pictures are exactly as it is. The attention to detail to provide a home from home, make it so easy to live in. The furnishings are typically Portuguese and not ultra modern, but it just added to the charm. Everything was clean and the added bonus of the huge children’s toy/book chest in the middle room kept our 4 &1 year old grandchildren entertained for hours when they were exhausted from the pool! We didn’t hire a car but our Son used his Uber account which worked like clockwork, even for the two big Supermarket trips, beach and Water Park visits. Personally we found the local beaches a bit disappointing, full of weed & algae, but Ubers took us further afield, which were clean and lovely. The garage housed a selection of pool inflatables, which were amazing and saved us a small fortune. One hidden gem which we found was the small internal court has steps leading up to a roof terrace, not that we needed to use it, the pool terrace is massive, but the views from the top are fabulous. All in all we had the most amazing time, any initial issues we had were promptly dealt with by Stefanie and the Management Co. (Nothing major, just the cot and high chair were not in the property as we arrived, but very quickly sorted - just make sure, if you need these items, you make it clear when booking) We just assumed they would be.

Wir haben in der Casa Buganvila einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht, bei dem einfach alles gepasst hat: Das schöne Haus mit dem tollen Pool und dem riesengroßen Garten mit herrlicher Aussicht. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, perfekt eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist "ĂŒberkomplett".

Schöne Aussicht Meerblick

Der Garten ist groß und sehr gepflegt. Orangen-und ZitronenbĂ€ume. Die KĂŒchenausstattung ist etwas chaotisch-weniger ist mehr. Super gute Möglichkeit zum Waschen und Trocknen. Alle Fernsehprogramme konnten auch in deutsch empfangen werden, was wichtig ist bei unserem langen Aufenthalt im ganzen Januar. Holz fĂŒr Kamin war ausreichend vorhanden. Die Reinigungskraft war „ sehr flott“ und sprach nicht englisch- aber hier hat jeder eigene Vorstellungen. Alles in allem ein schöner ASUfenthalt-Danke

Vila Bouganvila sehr gute Unterkunft

Wir waren das 2. Mal in der Villa und es war wieder wunderbar, der persönliche Empfang durch David und auch die Betreung wÀhrend des Aufenthaltes ist perfekt. die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und man hat einen traumhaft schönen Ausblick aufs Meer. Hierher werden wir immer gerne wieder komme.

Family Holiday

We stayed at the villa for a week with three small children and had a great experience. My husband and I have been to Carvoeiro a few times previously and this was the first time we had been back since we've had children (twins age 4 and 3 year old). This was a perfect family villa. The place was spectacular (as seen in the pictures) the villa was well laid out for small children, being all on the one level with two bedrooms close to each other and one on the other side of the hall way. The outside was perfect too - the steps down the pool meant the kids could access easily and paddle their feet or swim , and there was a lockable gate into the garden which featured a great side and swing set! We hired a car to get into town or the beach, but it was also quick and easy to get an Uber (within ten minuted of ordering). A maid came twice a week, and we were also visited by the gardening team and the pool cleaner twice, showing the care made to the property. Will definitely be returning - a perfect place to stay!

Perfect location

The villa is a great place to spend a family break. Beautiful views, quiet location and very well-equipped. The property managers (Stefanie and David) are very helpful and always respond very quickly to any query or request. Our third time staying here and will definitely be back again.

Lovely villa in great location

We had a great holiday in Carvoeiro. The villa is in a good location, a short walk to lots of restaurants and the beach etc. It’s is hilly though and exhausting in the heat! The villa was very clean with plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. We only had a couple of small issues - it was quite windy and so there were always lots of leaves and flower petals in the pool (could do with a cover) and the oven did not work well.

A fantastic villa- ideal for families! A beautiful villa in a quiet residential street. Well equipped to cater for a family's needs. Close proximity to Carvoeiro and local amenities/ supermarkets. The cleanest villa I've stayed in! Property managers are extremely helpful. Highly recommend. We will definitely be returning.

Stunning Villa

Amazing property, with extensive garden. Spectacular sea view & pool area. Ideally situated for either a relaxing villa stay or visits to several nearby beaches. Carvoeiro town is a 20 minute walk ( taxi ride back due to the hill) Ideal place in which to celebrate a special anniversary.
