Un magnifique domaine agricole de colline

Ce chalet est immergé dans un magnifique domaine agricole de colline dans un magnifique paysage des West Highland, niché dans les collines d'Argyll à une courte distance de la côte. Le chalet appartient et est géré par Angus, Willa et sa famille. Pour les clients séjournant dans le domaine, nous avons des kayaks, des vélos, des bateaux à rames à louer, avec pêche, marche et bien plus encore, vous auriez du mal à tout rentrer dans une semaine dans cette magnifique partie d'Argyll.

Ferme Finchairn - 10 personnes
La ferme est située dans une position magnifique, privée et surélevée donnant sur le Loch Awe, complètement seule. Il a une cour carrée fermée à l'arrière de la propriété et un grand jardin à l'avant qui est bordé par un mur en pierre sèche avec une vue dégagée sur le loch. Il y a cinq grandes chambres doubles et quatre salles de bains, dont deux en-suite. Tous ont Aqualisa marcher dans des douches et deux ont également des bains. Deux salons avec table de ping-pong, wifi et smart TV, DVD et brûleurs à bûches. Cuisine bien équipée avec tout ce dont vous auriez besoin. Une salle à manger séparée avec poêle à bois. Un WC séparé en bas. Une buanderie avec grand congélateur vertical, lave-linge et sèche-linge séparé. Une maison de famille spacieuse et parfaite.

Des vacances à Ederline à Argyll sont l'occasion d'explorer de nouveaux lieux et passe-temps; pour se détendre et se renouveler, et investir dans la création de souvenirs heureux pour toute la famille. Un accueil chaleureux vous attend!

Lovely spacious & comfortable accommodation for our group of friends in a beautiful location Plenty of parking & outbuilding for storage of bikes/canoe equipment Bedrooms/bathrooms were a bit cool but electric blankets a nice treat. Wood burners made the dining room, living room & games room very cosy during a cold & frosty spell of weather Plenty of fridge/freezer space and kitchen well appointed to cater for a group of 10 Easy booking process & good communication Thank you to Willa & Archie at Ederline Estate for a great week Would highly recommend Finchairn Farmhouse to others

Stunning Country Setting!

The Farmhouse is situated in beautiful setting on a large working sheep farm in one of the most spectacular landscapes on the West Coast of Scotland. Super scenic hiking on the property with long distance views from the higher elevations. Great half day or day trip excursions within a few miles from the property!

As a party of 8 adults, two teenagers and two dogs we found the property provided more than enough space and comfort for everyone to enjoy their holiday. The kids loved paddle boarding in the loch, some enjoyed exploring Argyll while others enjoyed cycling, running, walking or sketching. We all enjoyed table tennis in the capacious games room. Best of all was coming together round the table to share a meal and anecdotes in the evening. Willa and Angus were super hosts, thank you.

Stunning views of the loch in a cozy Farmhouse

We stayed at Finchairn Cottage with a large family group over Christmas and it could not have been better. The house is very well equipped for a large group, the kitchen has everything, including 3 ovens, perfect to manage a Christmas celebration meal. The walks all around on the estate are stunning. Our weather was mixed but really wonderful on the last day! The house is very well insulated and has great heating and cozy wood burning stoves in the living room and the room.

Such fun....

A beautiful house, with everything you need. The kitchen is so well fitted... The rooms are very nice, and if you like nature and peace, you can't dream of a better place! Don't go there if you want to go to the disco every evening or do your shopping every afternoon. It couldn't have been a better place to make our friends discover Scotland. Already thinking of coming back!

Perfect, authentic Scotland; historic yet modern!

Finchairn Farmhouse has historic charm, beautiful furnishings, and modern amenities. Our extended family of 10 from the suburban Chicago area enjoyed our stay on this working farm. The kids enjoyed watching the sheep get sheared, fishing, and hiking around the property. There were even ruins from a small castle on the property. It is remote enough to make you feel that you are away from life's worries but close enough to villages and cities for restaurants, shopping, and sight-seeing including a day trip to Isle of Mull. Angus and Willa were perfect hosts. Angus came to tell us about the property the morning after we arrived and was prompt when we needed anything. A picture of my grandkids on the lawn of Finchairn is my lock screen on my phone reminding me of our wonderful vacation at Ederline Estates.

De magnifiques vacances

La maison est parfaitement équipée et très bien située pour découvrir les environs. La vue est superbe, les espaces nombreux pour se sentir en vacances. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour et nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation. Merci à Willa et Angus pour l’accueil chaleureux.

A wonderful place and time.

We had brilliant stay at Finchairn Farmhouse. The house was snuggly warm and there was tons of living space. The children really enjoyed the table tennis and the adults enjoyed the walks direct from the house. Fantastic views, silence and tranquility. We all slept well as the beds were good quality and v comfy. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We will be returning.

Very comfortable, well equipped, home for a crowd

10 of us, family and friends, met at the farmhouse and had a really happy week's stay. It is a very comfortable, roomy, house with a well equipped kitchen. Good beds, linen and showers. Excellent play/privacy space for everyone. The only trouble was the weather - not good while we were there. There are a number of local points of interest (ancient remains, beavers, walks, bird life) to make up for the weather and in our case excellent hospital facilities. Angus and Willa were helpful but not intrusive.

Plenty of space

A beautifully converted farmhouse - the photos really do not do it justice ! We were a mixed group of 9 staying for Christmas week. There was plenty of space for everyone and the property was spotlessly clean. Angus and Willa provide excellent customer service and I would highly recommend this property.

I was born in Lochgilphead and have spent a large part of my childhood in Argyll. I am married to Angus and have three children. We took over the estate from my father in 2003. It is a fantastic way of life which we love to share with our guests and help them to see the best of the area. There is too much to do and see in a week but once you have been you will want to return!

I took over the estate from my father ten years ago and count myself so lucky to have the opportunity to care for the cottages and farming business in the most stunning part of the world. A perfect retreat to get away from the busy life that most of us lead. Ederline is a tonic to be consumed regardless of season.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Finchairn Farm House is situated in a stunning, private, elevated position looking over Loch Awe, completely on its own. It has a square enclosed court yard to the back of the property and a large garden to the front which is bordered by a dry stone wall with far reaching views across the loch. There are five large double bedrooms and four bathrooms, two en-suite. All have Aqualisa walk in showers and two also have baths. Two sitting rooms. Well equipped kitchen, seperate dining room. A downstairs WC. A utility room with large upright freezer, washing machine and separate tumble drier. A perfect spacious family home.
