    Had a lovely 5 night stay with my dog. The studio is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. Great host. Boxford is a stunning village and the locals are so friendly. There is so much to do in the area, which is full of history and amazing architecture. Would highly recommend.

    Absolutely gorgeous location, property was so lovely, very clean and had everything that we needed.

    Very quaint little cottage in a lovely village. Marianne was excellent and helped when we needes things.

    We had a very pleasant stay in the Old Forge. The main room on the ground floor is cosy and charming, with everything you need for cooking. a very comfortable bedroom on the first floor with toilet and shower adjacent. Good quality bedding and towels. The staircase gives easy access to the upper floor. Parking was easy during our stay, right in front of The Old Forge. Marianne was very welcoming and attentive, so was her husband, Thank you for your kindness, we would love to return at some point, there is so much more to explore. We did go to Gainsborough House as recommended, it definitely worth a visit. Camille and Brian.

    Four night stay

    We enjoyed our stay at the Old Forge. It was cosy, well equipped and we enjoyed browsing the bookshelves. Boxford is a perfect Suffolk village with good local shops. It is a great location for exploring the Suffolk countryside and coast.

    Cosy cottage in a beautiful village.

    Marianne was a super host with excellent communication. The Old Forge was a lovely place to stay - wonderfully cosy, super shower, loads of books to read should you wish. Boxford is a pretty village too and was a great place to stay en route to Norfolk.

    The Old Forge Studio - Boxford, Suffolk

    We enjoyed our week staying in this cosy, well-appointed cottage which was attractive and comfortable. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Boxford is a pretty village and very well placed for exploring Suffolk. We recommend the Box River Cafe for breakfast!

    Cracking location and gorgeous property. Really cosy and ideal for our 2 night stay. Just a short walk from the 2 shop and the 2 pubs. Also a delightful cafe in between. Would certainly recommend and would also come back ourselves

    Bijou property full of charm- cosy and spotlessly clean- comfortable bed - absolutely delightful but only for two! Excellent location in a really beautiful village with great dog walks and friendly pub (The Fleece) which served us well on two nights Easy parking and great for visiting Lavenham and Long Melford

    Bank Holiday weekend break

    Such a cute, cosy and well equipped hideaway. Great location for exploring the area. Lovely bedroom with comfortable bed. Extensive collection of reading material to browse and enjoy. The little local store a few paces away had everything needed to stock up and the hotel/ pub The Fleece was perfect for a drink in the evening.

    Stunning Studio

    Beautiful Studio with wonderful views of church Set in a charming village Studio has everything you need for your stay, comfortable and cosy. Both of us being keen readers, was glorious to be surrounded by so many books. The lovely owner lives next door, gave us perfect ideas for walks etc and made us aware she was there if we needed her. Wonderful experience thoroughly recommend

    Beautiful place to stay in lovely quiet village

    Property was well kept and in line with the description Clean tidy and lots of information to hand about the local area including recommended walks The lounge library with hundreds of books to choose from would be great for a longer stay Boxford is a lovely quaint and quiet Suffolk village with good local pub/hotel (Fleece Hotel) with good food when it’s being served, it doesn’t serve food everyday In easy driving distance of Lavenham and Flatford Mill as well as other local beauty spots We had a recommendation for breakfast to go to Old Joe’s from a couple we met in the pub and it turned out to be a great recommendation No contact required with owner but details left for us if we did Well worth a stay
