Nice cottage missing a few luxuries like shower soap and shampoo. Hot water (not shower which electric) not on demand .. had to remember to programme in advance. Parking tight for larger vehicles. TV not smart!

Positives: The cottage is close enough to the centre of town to be there in a couple of minutes.

Positives: The cottage is close enough to the centre of town to be there in a couple of minutes. The kitchen is well-equipped. Cleaning products and even things like clingfilm, foil and sandwich bags are in the drawers alongside local takeaway menus. The living room and dining spaces are comfortable.Negatives: The guest book says that cleanliness is important to the owners - and the cottage was, on the whole, very clean. However the grout on the bathroom tiles was very dirty. There was a dearth of shelving in the sizeable wardrobes and the shelf beneath the mirror in the second bedroom left very little space to squeeze between shelf and bed. So much so that it was really awkward to move around in that room - even for children.The parking situation is horrendous. Derwent Street is very narrow and the swing required to get into the already tight space made it very difficult. One day I simply couldn't get in and had to park in a nearby car park overnight. We have stayed in another cottage nearby which offered more space and cost less. However, it's not a bad place to stay for a week.

The cottage was lovely and ideal location for shops restaurants and walks.

The cottage was lovely and ideal location for shops restaurants and walks. The main problem was the parking situation, it was very tight so if you used your car during the day it was very difficult to park again unless there was 2 very small cars. There was also no WiFi so had to use our roaming data. The other problem was the bathroom was situated downstairs so rather annoying having to go downstairs during the night to the toilet. But on the plus side very well equipped including hairdryer Probably wouldn’t use again because of the parking

A very pleasant week in a nice centrally located cottage which was well equipped and comfortable Only downside is not sufficient space for two cars as the drive is shared so that is poor as it says it is suitable and it isn’t also far too many rubbish bins which spoil it No information on what goes in which and what day emptied Also several bins not emptied for weeks The cleaners should sort that out

Loved the cottage and didn't want for anything while we were there for the 2 days.

Loved the cottage and didn't want for anything while we were there for the 2 days. Would stay again as it was good value for money, beautifully decorated clean and cosy. It's a pity we couldn't bring our dog though, especially as Keswick seems to be such a dog friendly town. The teenagers were disappointed about the lack of Wifi at first, but there were plenty of games, books, dvd's etc to distract them.

Most hosts provide at least one spare toilet roll. This one didn't No dish cloth provided at the sink Only just enough wash up liquid in the kitchen No dish washer tablets provided. Very little hand cleaner in bathroom The other parking space had a white van throughout our stay. Guests should be warned that only cars allowed as little space was left to get through Let alone tea, coffee or a free bottle of wine Little things I know but would have provided an extra special customer service

excellent location, lovely clean and comfortable cottage, only drawbacks no garden and parking space is limited to small cars, otherwise not a fault to be found. really enjoyed the break and a bonus of perfect weather.

This is a really lovely cottage - perfect for a small family.

This is a really lovely cottage - perfect for a small family. The cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is so well situated for everything in Keswick and having the parking space is a real bonus. Other reviewers have said that the parking space is small - it is, however if you communicate with the residents who have the other parking space you can manage. We would definitely recommend Clover cottage and hope to stay here again in the future.

Nicely furnished cottage.

Nicely furnished cottage. It is advertised with a parking space but this is so small it’s impossible to get a medium or larger car in, if the neighbour is parked next to you. Since the surrounding roads are all double yellows, it means parking a good distance away, which was very disappointing. Also be aware the staircase splits, so the bedrooms are separated by the staircase which is not suitable for families with young children.
