Had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful property, couldn't ask for anything more.

Such a well equipped cottage the owners have thought of everything. Very comfy beds and a lovely cozy living space. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Beautiful, private location and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a quiet and peaceful break. The owners have made sure the cottage has all necessary equipment.Our only issue was the night storage heaters which retained heat for three days even after we’d switched them off, making the rooms uncomfortably hot, although we kept windows and doors open.

Beautiful warm,spotlessly clean cottage. Everything we needed was there. Lovely welcome pack,including dog treats which our 2 loved . We chose this deliberately because it is in the middle of nowhere and as such no fireworks at New Year. We were rewarded with fabulous dark skies and wonderful sunrises and sunsets. Great walks for our dogs,very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Outstanding accommodation, excellent service provided by accommodation owners.

Or holiday rental met and far exceeded our expectations. The property was bigger in reality than you imagined from the photos. The welcome pack provided by the owners was the best we’ve ever had in all our previous holiday rentals. The location of the property was ideal in that you had peaceful seclusion from noise and disturbance (as we have in our typical large town environment). Also ideally located for giving you many choices for days out as you have the Lake District, Yorkshire dales national park, north Pennines, north York national park and the north east coast with notable coastal towns like Whitby, and the seaside resort of Scarborough. Ovington grange cottage comes highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning again to enjoy this wonderful accommodation and location.

Had an excellent week in Grange Cottage.

Had an excellent week in Grange Cottage. Property was clean, very well equipped and comfortable. Located in a nice rural location with plenty to do nearby. It's obvious the owners have put a great deal of effort into the cottage and are very keen to ensure their customers are happy. A nice touch was the welcome pack of goodies on arrival. Thank you very much to the owners for letting us stay. We would recommend this cottage to others.

The Cottage was absolutely fantastic and we (and the dogs) had a great time.

The Cottage was absolutely fantastic and we (and the dogs) had a great time. I would have given 10 for the local amenities but as the closest pub was a mile away and the closest supermarket about 10 mins drive, I did not feel I could. It didn’t bother us in the slightest as we enjoyed being away from it all and listening to the “silence” The owners could not have been more helpful and to have freshly laid eggs in the fridge was a great bonus. Its location was ideal as it was very close to many of the wonderful sights and sounds of the North Yorkshire Dales. I would highly recommend it

This is a lovely cottage, very light, and all of the windows opened easily, which was important as we had very hot weather. The owners were friendly and helpful. It has a wide passage and doorways which were ideal for my Mum, who has mobility difficulties. It was well equipped and comfortable.

Cottage larger/roomier than expected from photos. Very well equipped. Most comfortable beds ever! Environment; quiet, peaceful,bliss. Owners very welcoming, available without being intrusive. Turning into approach to and coming back onto main road is a bit of a concern as almost blind corner. Need transport to nearest local shop - for groceries. Would not hesitate in recommending this holiday cottage

The owners and their property were excellent. If you want a quiet break this is ideal. The nearest town for shops etc was Barnard Castle, 15 minutes drive. Village pubs were 5-10 minutes drive.

Really super cottage - well equipped, comfortable and cosy. We were made to feel very welcome and the location is just beautiful. We did day trips out to North Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales, North Pennines and County Durham - all easily accessible from the cottage. One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in .
