The property has a stunning situation with so many far reaching views of the beautiful rolling hills. The pool was great and the kids loved it, along with the ping pong table. Bruno and the Fontenuova team were super helpful, making sure that the bedrooms were configured as requested to accommodate our 3 families perfectly and responding quickly if we ever had any queries. The property has loads of character and is really well equipped, including a lovely, rustic BBQ area. It all made for an excellent holiday.

This stay was INCREDIBLE! We had our small intimate wedding here and it was perfect. The scenery is stunning, the bedrooms are comfortable, the pool is refreshing and our host Suzan went above and beyond. Days spent sitting outside and swimming in the pool under the Tuscan sun are memories we’ll cherish forever. And many nights we cooked in the home and laughed until the wee hours of the night. Suzan was remarkable, from the moment I booked she was so helpful. She guided us through planning our event by helping connect us with a nearby florist, providing a private chef for the wedding dinner, and reaching out to a local bakery for our wedding cake. I couldn’t have asked for a better host. She’s not just a great host but a truly kind person! We recommend this stay 1000% it was PERFECT! and we will definitely be back to check out the rest of the property.

It was a very charming villa with interesting art, and personality. We were under the impression there was a pool, hot tub and dryer, none of which were really the case (the pool was there but drained and the other two didn’t seem to be there at all) but we had a great time regardless.

Il Casale was Awesome

We had the best time at Fontenuova! Great house, awesome view and nature around! We will definitely try to come back to that magical place.

Wonderful villa next to a quaint little village

What a great villa! The host was fantastic and attentive! The location was a perfect Tuscany experience. A walk up the driveway to the little old village for dinner or groceries! Thank you for sharing your villa!

Peaceful countryside villa!

We had a great stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The home is beautiful. The pool was not available given the season but there is a beautiful river you can walk down to on the property which was a great activity!

Dream vacation

Suzan's place in Saturnia was a dream. Rolling hills, walk to the creek, nicely aged and beautiful home and amazing hosts made our trip so memorable. The home was so charming with so much character. It was a delightful way to experience a Tuscan life. Suzan went out of her way to equip the house for a comfortable stay and went above and beyond to recommend places to visit and make reservations on our behalf. She even arranged for us to bring home very good quality olive oil. She communicates quickly and thoroughly. Our family of five had a great stay.

We had the best time in Saturnia with Susan and Bruno’s property! It was large enough to hold my entire family with room to spare, we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The yard and pool were amazing and gave the kids a wonderful opportunity to play outside after long days of travel and activities. This house was the perfect launchpad to explore and relax in Tuscany, historical cities within a few hours drive. While Saturnia is a smaller city, the restaurants and towns itself is charming and exactly what we needed. We relaxed every evening on the sun porch and got to take in the spectacular views of the rolling hills in Tuscany. The sunsets at this property are unbelievable! It was a dream come true. Susan was an incredible host! I can not thank her enough for assisting and answering questions prior to our arrival. Susan was extremely responsive and answered questions immediately for us. Susan assisted with coordinating a chef coming to the property two nights for our family. Very well worth it! She made her property feel like home for us. Sad our time there has ended but, my family and I have discussed coming back for a visit!! This property and Susan are one of a kind!!

BELLA ESPERIENZA DI GRUPPO

Eravamo un gruppo di amici e per passare tre giorni in compagnia abbiamo scelto questa soluzione, un idea molto carina e l'ambiente molto spazioso e ricco di comodità. Camere spaziose e tutte con il proprio bagno potendo mantenere la propria intimità dividendo poi enormi spazi comuni. La Sig.ra Sarah e suo marito sono stati molto disponibili, ci hanno lasciato la legna per i camini e il barbecue e la domenica non avendo nuovi arrivi ci hanno fatto stare fino al pomeriggio, persone simpatiche e molto discrete. Intorno poi tanti ettari di verde, abbiamo fatto delle bellissime passeggiate all'aria aperta. Unico difetto forse è che la sera essendo in mezzo alla natura le camere si popolavano di animaletti (millepiedi e scarafaggi) consiglierei una piccola disinfestazione delle stanze Per il resto tutto perfetto..... da rifare
