La cabine de Mary Ann est de 1200 pieds carrés. Maison située sur une «route pavée» à 1/4 mile de la plage du lac Lure et à 3 miles de Chimney Rock Park. Cette cabane en rondins a tous les nouveaux appareils, y compris le chauffage central et l'air.

Les meubles de la chambre principale sont construits en rondins de cÚdre. Elle comprend un lit queen-size, un coffre à couvertures, des tables de nuit et une commode avec miroir. La salle de bain principale dispose d'une baignoire de jardin jacuzzi et d'une cabine de douche séparée.

A l'Ă©tage, le loft comprend une banquette-lit avec lit pliant et un salon avec vue sur la montagne. Chambre Ă  l'Ă©tage a un lit queen-size et tables de nuit avec salle de bain attenante avec baignoire / douche.

La grande salle confortable en bas a un plafond cathédrale avec canapé, causeuse et fauteuil inclinable. Cette piÚce est attenante à la cuisine et à la salle à manger. La cuisine est entiÚrement équipée avec tous les ustensiles de cuisine et de salle à manger. Menant de la grande salle, salle à manger et cuisine est une grande terrasse avec des meubles de patio et des chaises berçantes.

Le pont se développe à partir du porche avant et est ombragé par un arbre en bois dur. Cela rend encore plus agréable de passer de nombreuses heures à se détendre et à écouter la nature.

La cabine est à environ 40 miles de la maison et des jardins Biltmore à Asheville. HGTV (Home and Garden Television) a choisi Lake Lure pour construire une «Dream Home» en 2006. Les films réalisés à Lake Lure / Chimney Rock Area sont «Last of the Mohicans», «Dirty Dancing», «Firestarter», «My Fellow Americans», «A Breed Apart» et «Rutherford County Line».

Cabin was clean and it had all what we need. We experienced strong septic smell inside the master bedroom. Host sent Maitenance crew to mitigate discomfort. Also, WiFi service was very poor.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in a stunning mountain location, and the peaceful setting and views made it a true getaway. The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Check-in was smooth, and the overall experience was very positive.A couple of things to note for future guests:The primary bedroom did not have a TV, which wasn’t a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of if that’s important to you.The loft beds were not very comfortable, and could use an upgrade for better sleep support.The internet/Wi-Fi was spotty at times, but that comes with the territory when staying up in the mountains — so plan accordingly if you need a strong connection.Even with those small cons, we still had a great time and would stay again. The charm of the cabin and the surrounding nature easily outweigh the negatives. It’s the perfect spot if you're looking to unwind, enjoy the mountains, and disconnect a bit.Would recommend for a mountain retreat!

Cozy Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners promptly responded to all our emails before and during the stay. The property is decorated to reflect a mountain lake lifestyle. The kitchen was well equipped, and a sufficient amount of linens were available. Coffee on the deck in the mornings was a delight! We plan to book this property again.

Grammas.

This cabin is adorable. It’s just like living in Grammas house. Well stocked with everything we needed. Only minor issue was the TV reception. Keep in mind it rained the whole time we were there. Reception was difficult. It was harder on my husband than me. Would love to stay sometime in future!

This is a great place for a quiet relaxing stay. It is a quick 10 minute drive to the main town or the grocery store. The cabin was well-maintained and has all the amenities you would need in a home rental. The owner communicated quickly with me about check-in and was available if anything came up. There are a lot of outdoor activities near this place and I would recommend this stay to anyone who likes the outdoors. The only minor issue is that the satellite tv was fairly hit or miss when we were home but we were not there to watch tv so for us it wasn't an issue. Would defintley return to this cabin!

The Cabin has a nice private wooded view and is just a few minutes drive from Lake Lure beach and Chimney Rock village. The beds are soft and bathrooms and bed rooms spacious. Exactly what we had hoped for.

Nice time at Lake Lure

This was our first time visiting the area. The cabin was well located to make exploring the area easy and convenient. We enjoyed the stocked kitchen as well. We enjoyed a few meals out and a few meals cooked in the cabin. The place was clean, easy to find and gave us a good amount of space.

Family adventure

Mary Ann’s Cabin was great for us four. I would recommend the cabin to anyone for a nice quiet getaway. It was homey, clean and well decorated for a mountain home. It was close to all we wanted to see and do.

Great Cabin Near Chimney Rock and Lake Lure

The cabin was well stocked for our stay, although we did not cook any meals while we were there. The bathrooms were also adequately stocked with supplies, towels and washcloths. The cabin appeared very clean, and all of the light switches were labeled for convenience. We were happy to find that the bed in the master bedroom (downstairs) had a memory foam topper and was comfortable to sleep in. There were plenty of pillows as well. The location was was easy to access with adequate room for parking off the street. We also enjoyed the gas fireplace and the satellite TV while relaxing at the cabin. The only recommendation I have would be to use fragrance free detergent and softener for the towels, washcloths, and bed linens for folks with sensitivities and allergies to fragrance. Although, it seems pretty common to find scented laundry products being used in most cabin and house rentals. Overall, it was a wonderful cabin and a great getaway for our anniversary.

Cute cozy cabin

The cabin was very clean and was the perfect size for our two small girls, my husband and I. The girls loved eating breakfast on the porch and the little play nook with toys. The owner was so generous to offer our family to check in a day early due to a Florida hurricane but our flights weren’t until the next day so we couldn’t take him up on the offer.. The master king bed was a little too firm for our liking and from the listing we thought there was a waterfall nearby that we could hike to but when we looked it up it’s was over an hour away. Other than that, the kitchen had a lot for us to use, there was comfy lazy boys and we will definitely be back when we visit family again

Mary Ann's Cabin Stay

Overall this was a great property and was just as advertised. The location was convenient and easy to find. The house was well stocked but I have stayed in VRBOs that were better stocked. I had to buy a few things but just took them back home with me. The door lock was a problem at first but the owner fixed it. I would stay here again & would recommend to others.

Wishing it could have been longer

Property was wonderful. What we loved the most was it was central to everything and clean as advertised. Wish there had been more outside furniture to relax in or chairs for a lakeside retreat. But highly recommend.

Let me introduce ourselves,we are Tim and Barbara. We were married in May 2006 and had our log cabin built in the summer of that year. We love the location and the neighbors here are very nice. We had looked all in the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area and found this lot almost by accident. We named the cabin after Tim's mother. She had always wanted a cabin in the mountains and after raising 9 wonderful children we felt that she could also now have her dream. We consider ourselves very fortunate to find such a beautiful community.I grew up on Sullivan's Island, & Columbia SC

We love the beautiful lake and mountains all around. It is breath taking in all seasons. We took the tour of the lake and just realized how relaxing and beautiful it was. It is an added bonus that Chimney Rock is so close. We went to the top of Chimney Rock and got a birds eye view. WOW it is amazing!! Don't worry they have an elevator to take you to the top. My parents told me to always invest in real estate. It was Good advise!

We enjoy the location and all the kind people there. The lake and mountains are so peaceful as is the cabin. We enjoy watching the wildlife...birds, squirrels, and sometime deer. The deck is enjoyable with the rocking chairs and cooking out on the gas grill. We have enjoyed many evenings on the deck. The jacuzzi tub is amazing too! Especially after an nice walk and a quiet dinner!
