The property was fantastic! It had all the comforts of home PLUS a fabulous vacation rental. Tons of outdoor activities! We really enjoyed the fire pit. Fishing in the river and throwing horse shoes. There was plenty of wood and the wheelbarrows were very convenient. Jack was a very nice host and gave us a very thorough, detailed property tour when we arrived. The coffee station was a very nice touch. We had a really nice couples getaway weekend and enjoyed the Applebutter festival in nearby Birkley Springs.

We visited for our annual Girlfriend Getaway weekend. We couldn’t have had a better experience. The home is extremely well cared for, clean, and the host was communicative regarding check in and property details. The property had absolutely everything we could have needed from kitchen items to kayaks and yard games. We spent the majority of our time at the river and in the yard, watching the wildlife and enjoying what nature had to offer. This property truly is a gem!

Amazing Home on the River

Clean, comfortable house on a large piece of land with direct river access. Beautifully decorated. Amazing firepit, outdoor games and huge mowed yard surrounding the property. Looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

My family enjoyed our stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Everything was wonderful: clean; an over abundance of sheets, towels, pillows, and bedding; fully equipped kitchen; firewood chopped for the fire pit; kayaks ready for use; and more. We were welcome by the owner who was friendly and informative. I am looking forward to a summer stay!

House had it all- it was very clean, kitchen well stocked- lots of games- outdoor plenty of chairs

Easy access to the beautiful river. The house was the perfect getaway to lift our spirits. Just what we all wanted and needed. Loved that we had kayaks for river.
