Cet appartement confortable et fraîchement rénové est entièrement meublé avec de nouveaux appareils, des vues spectaculaires sur la baie de Casco et les îles! Terrasse privée donnant sur la cour arrière, stationnement dans la rue, wifi et buanderie sur place. À quelques pas du bal de l'Est, des sentiers pédestres, des parcs et de la plage! Immeuble calme situé dans un quartier résidentiel, ce qui en fait une excellente évasion de l'agitation de la ville, mais à distance de marche du Vieux-Port et de tous les magasins, restaurants et divertissements que le front de mer a à offrir!

Maine experience

The apartment was very clean and quiet. We would absolutely stay there again. Steps away from the beautiful Eastern Promenade and an easy just over mile walk to Old Port for sightseeing tours, shopping and dining!

Property was exactly as described, clean, light and bright. Well stocked and strong Wi-Fi connection with a beautiful view, so lovely we already booked a return visit, and no doubt we will be back again!

Great stay in Portland!

We loved everything about this place—the neighborhood, the ease of arrival/departure, parking on street was easy, unit was spotless and had a well-equipped kitchen. We particularly loved walking to dinner every night to the downtown center of Portland, even though there are many many restaurants in the neighborhood.

Fantastic!!

This was a great property for a girls trip with my sister. Location was perfect! Easy walk or drive to restaurants, shops and the water. Breathtaking scenery steps from the property. Full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a bath offered plenty of room to spread out. Street parking was easy to find. If we make our way back to Maine, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Allyson!

Nice apartment on Munjoy Hill

Nice 3rd floor apartment … just 2 flights of stairs, so not bad. Well furnished and equipped rental. Walking distance to Portland Observatory (a must see!), a beach and the Eastern Promenade. Downtown area 1.5 miles if you’re up for a walk. Would definitely recommend is you’re looking to stay on Munjoy Hill.

Perfect location!

This property was just as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. It has a welcoming feel. My wife and our friends were very impressed!!! The location was perfect. Short (but hilly) walks to the East End Promenade, East End business on Washington, and the the Old Port. Check in was a breeze. We are already talking about a return trip! Highly recommended!

Really nice 2BR apartment!

We spent 3 nights here while attending a wedding in Portland. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and only minutes to everything the city has to offer. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. It's a third floor walk-up so you must climb two flights of stairs, but if that's no issue you'll really enjoy Allyson's place. Her communication was excellent, too!

Munjoy Home Away from Home

We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood, the proximity to the waterfront and neighborhood stores. It was a bit cumbersome getting to the third floor with luggage and we had some issues with the door lock. Also, the apartment could have been a little larger. The bustling downtown was a good walk away but doable, at least for us. We liked walking along the Westside waterfront, which was busy with activities.

The property was not as advertised. We checked in Sunday night, 7/13 and left at 8:46 am Monday morning. Sunday night I sent Alyson a text via VRBO messaging explaining our issues (not comprehensive) and spoke with Alysson Monday morning. She asked us to leave immediately and stated that we had caused her great distress. She said she would refund the charges. The home is not an oasis and the host is less than professional.

Great location for a Portland getaway

We enjoyed this beautiful, quaint upstairs apartment while we explored Portland for the first time. It's in a convenient location with a view of a bay area from the side porch. It rained quite a bit while we were there, so we weren't able to take advantage of the cross breeze from open windows. Allyson was very responsive and provided a few additional items that we requested. She stayed in contact and made sure she had met our needs. We had a wonderful time strolling along the waterfront, going on a bay harbor cruise and taking the ferry to Peaks Island. The only drawback of this beautiful apartment is the bed in the 2nd bedroom didn't have a ton of space above it. Overall, lovely place and great location! We would recommend staying here!

Communication nightmare

I have rented many VRBO’s in the past and never had a problem. It started when I had to contact VRBO hours before to check in to get the access information. I had reached out to the host days before and heard nothing. We got in but had problems locking the door that night. Multiple calls, texts and emails went unanswered. Contacted VRBO again and they got no response. The host contacts us the next morning and told us to leave and we would get a refund. We check into a hotel and then host reneges on the offer. Host called us liars and said we checked back in. We contact VRBO again and got a partial refund. The place wasn’t bad but the aggravation wasn’t worth it.

Extremely difficult, and clearly did not want to stay. The guests were refunded for nights they did not stay. They were charged one night stay. The issue was explained and the door is on order, but the guests insisited the door did not lock which the deadbolt did- there was no reason to use the door knob as the deadbolt was working. This was a most unfortunate situation- for both parties. Safe travels Mark- and may you find some Peace.....

Munjoy Hill Treasure

Really well appointed apartment with everything we needed and more . Alison is a very responsive host and delightful to work with. Air conditioning was much appreciated during a summer heatwave! Just blocks off the promenade, Jin Jang , Front Room, markets, coffee and more. The only downsides are walk up is challenging with large suitcases and while bed in 2BR is super comfy, it is crammed into slanted ceiling and cannot comfortably sleep 2 people. Apartment is best suited for no more than 3 people. Overall we loved our stay here and highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

Had a fantastic time here! Location is within walking distance of great views and food. Adorable neighborhood and plenty of parking. Space was exactly as described. Owner very responsive. Would definitely rent again!
