We spent Christmas at the Retreat and had an amazing time. Jamie was a very gracious host and the house itself lacked nothing. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing stay

Amazing Stay!

One of the most relaxing weekend getaways we’ve had in a long time… great location with close proximity to hiking and restaurants. Will be coming back to stay again.

What a brilliant place to gain some rest and relaxation, fantastic property, superbly quiet and loved watching the sunset and listening to the birds whilst in the hot tub. The fishing on the river Earn beat was also wonderful ( a few fishing around) with access to a trout loch just up the road. Great location for Perth (Black Watch Museum), Drummond Castle Gardens, Stirling Castle, Dunblane Cathedral. Crieff and GlenTurret Distillery is not that far and also excellent. Highly recommended if you want to get away from the crowds for the some true R&R and the hosts are very friendly, helpful and supported. Will be definitely book this place up again. Best bit was the fantastic views from the property :-). Can see why they have so many repeat customers a real gem.My only regret was we were not there long enough :-)

The lodge is picture perfect and hosts are very helpful & welcome pack was very kind. Views are stunning. Hot tub is good fun. Can take about 3 hours to get hot enough with the fire but so worth it. Plenty of logs for hot tub & fire. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Amazing Getaway

We had a lovely time at The Retreat! The views were brilliant, the hot tub was a great addition! Perfect location for a relaxed getaway, couldn’t ask for anything better.

Fantastic and beautiful place and lovely hosts.

Jamie and Lisa are lovely hosts and prepared the place with so much love and details and even cold welcome treats - thanks a lot! The place itself is great, the view gorgeous and it has lots of kitchen equipment. We really enjoyed our vacation.

Amazing stay

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lisa and Jamie’s beautiful cottage. The property is incredibly well equipped, beautifully furnished and the views are stunning. The property was really clean and beds incredibly comfy! Lisa was a fantastic host and the check in and out process was seamless

My wife and I absolutely loved everything about the retreat! Prefect, quite setting. Jamie was a great host. Day trips from the retreat to St. Andrews, etc. were wonderful and restaurants in the area excellent - especially Corrie Inn and Delivino. We HIGHLY recommend the retreat!

Quaint, peaceful, bliss

Couldn’t have asked for a more special place to spend a few days away. Completely private, wonderfully charming host’s, and stunning landscapes in all directions. Couldn’t ask for more.

Another great stay

Second time we’ve stayed at the Retreat and another great stay. The house is fantastic, clean and very well equipped. The garden and hot tub are brilliant. Lisa is a great host and communication with her is very easy and straightforward. Couldn’t recommend The Retreat highly enough

Another excellent stay

This is our 4th trip to The Retreat and we have had another excellent stay at this wonderful property. The cottage is immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need for your stay. The kids loved playing in the garden and the hot tub. The hosts are welcoming and communication with them was easy and straightforward. Can't wait to return!
