Quintessential Mews Flat

La propriété est située au-dessus de notre entreprise familiale. Bien que répertorié comme un 2 chambres, il peut en fait s'agrandir en 3/4 chambres (avec 2 salles de bains)! Peut facilement accueillir 6/8 personnes. VEUILLEZ NOTER: Si la réservation est pour moins de 5 personnes, alors UNE seule salle de bain sera disponible. Sachez également qu'il y a 34 marches à gravir avant d'arriver à la porte d'entrée de l'appartement! Cependant, vous ne serez pas déçu une fois à l'intérieur car la propriété vient juste d'être rénovée et fraîchement décorée et meublée. Il dispose de lucarnes ou de fenêtres dans chaque pièce. Il y a deux chambres doubles (une avec un lit king size et une avec un lit queen size) et une chambre avec deux lits simples. Les planchers sont en bois dur partout et la cuisine est équipée d'un four à deux niveaux, micro-ondes. Il y a une buanderie avec laveuse / sécheuse et fer et planche à repasser. Les chambres doubles sont équipées d'un sèche-cheveux de style hôtel.

Our stay was wonderful! Enough space for our family of four with two teenagers having their own room and bathroom. It was especially convenient to have a washer and dryer, full service kitchen and comfortable sitting room. The neighborhood was perfect with so many shops and restaurants, bus stops and Paddington station just steps away, we felt at home right away- safe, secure and quiet. Our host was quick to respond and saved us when we accidentally locked ourselves out on the first night of our arrival. We highly recommend staying here as everything to see in London is easily accessible within a short bus or tube ride and so comfortable to come home to our stay after long days of sightseeing. We had a great stay here for 4 nights in March/April with our 2 kids. Pros: The location of this flat was absolutely perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from Paddington Station. The unit was bright, clean and had everything we needed. The neighbourhood felt safe and had some fantastic restaurants around (the Fountains Abby pub was excellent!). It was great to have two bathrooms and all in all we had such a great stay.ConsI didn't love the bed. My husband said it was fine, but I could feel the springs which I found a bit painful. It was also super squeaky and bouncy, so when either one of us turned in our sleep, it often woke us up. By Canadian bed size measurements, I would call the bed a Queen size, not a king. I know it's common in Europe, but we also would have liked to have a flat sheet on the beds. The kids woke up with their duvet on the floor most mornings and were cold because there wasn't a sheet and the duvet wasn't long enough to tuck in. The other con was that the wifi was not great which was a bit frustrating while trying to research things for our trip, but ultimately not the end of the world as we also had data plans.Ultimately we had a great stay and would recommend this flat to anyone.

A great place to stay because of its closeness to Paddington Station. Although we didn't spend much time in the flat, it was nice to have the fridge for food storage and the beds were comfortable.

I’d stay here again. The location was excellent. Minutes from Paddington Station. Plenty of restaurants in the area. There are 2 flights of stairs and a couple of small spots that could do with a refresh, but the apartment was very clean. We accidentally tripped a fuse and the property manager was quick to respond and fix the problem.

Amazing stay in amazing surroundings

Very nice and comfortable apartment in perfect location of a London trip; everything needed is provided, beds are very comfortable and the whole apartment is very light due to the windows on the roof; many nice restaurants and small shops nearby; walking-distance to Oxford Street via Hyde Park is 15 minutes; Paddingtin Station just around the corner - good tip: flights to Heathrow as there is a direct connection of 20 minutes to Paddington Station;

Great Flat in Great Location

We were fortunate to have found this flat a year ago. The location is perfect, just around the corner from Paddington Station making it a quick trip to anywhere in London. Good neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants. The flat was clean with up to date kitchen. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made it perfect for our group. Highly recommend to anyone going to London.

Great place

Perfect for my wife, two daughters (22 & 17), and me. Paddington station is very close, so you can get wherever you need to go. There are lovely restaurants nearby (we particularly enjoyed Wahaca and Cawnpore), and plenty of shops for necessities in the neighborhood.The flat is comfortable, and great for short or long stays. You’ll want to get the windows open and the fans running if you’re caught in a heat wave like we were, but that’s manageable. We would definitely return.

Wonderful quiet location

This property has all the conveniences we were looking for. Close to Paddington station, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a washer/dryer. It was the perfect size for our family of 3 (10 y/o). For Americans traveling and less familiar with Europe, I will add my husband’s comments: please understand there are 2 narrow flights you have to carry luggage up, washers and dryers are not the same as in Europe, A/C is also almost non-existent (there were fans in property).

Great Visit to London with Friends

My wife and I stayed here at this great flat with 3 of our friends. This space was great for the 5 of us. Having 3 bedrooms available, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and common space was perfect!The communication was great with the owner and the price was great especially for the location.The flat was a few minute walk from Paddington Station which allowed easy access to the tube and the entire city. We would highly recommended this owner and location. It was a vacation to remember!
