Great location within easy walking distance of the harbor and all the awesome shops and restaurants in Grand Marais! This cute town is so pedestrian friendly. Front door would not auto lock and there are no dead bolt locks on the doors. Advertised as incredible lake view but you could barely see the lake from room number 2. It is an easy walk to downtown and the interior of the apartment was nice and comfortable.

This was a standout VRBO stay for us. The apartment was clean and functional, and very convenient (walkable) to all of downtown Grand Marais. Ben is extremely responsive (I got a reply within eight minutes via the VRBO app) and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Would love to come back here next time we're in the area!

This is a simple no frills rental with the essentials for a pleasant stay. The location was great; a short block from downtown and a couple from Lake Superior and Artist Point. Would stay again when we come back to Grand Marais.

Property was great. Large and quite comfortable. Much better than any hotel I've stayed at in the area. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful, but not overbearing. Location was excellent. I would stay here again.

Accommodations were comfortable and right for what we needed. We just needed a place to regroup after spending the day in the BWCA, so this was just right. Check-in was pretty seamless, though I needed to contact the owner to know which unit we were staying in. All in all, a good place for a home base when staying in Grand Marais and exploring the surrounding area.

The location, condition of the property, and the beds were wonderful! Suggestion: replace the couch. We love to binge watch TV on our girls trips and the couch in the apartment is past its prime. Thank you for a great time in Grand Marais!

(Review by my son). Host was great; he brought us a fan because we needed it. House is good. Quiet, but close to town. View of the lake was nice. I would certainly stay there again.

We were very satisfied with our accommodations. Spacious rooms. Plenty of room in kitchen to cook our meals. The only thing I would suggest is that they put at least one end table or coffee table by the couch.

This apartment has a fantastic location! It’s very clean and comfortable. The beds, linens, and towels are great and it’s outfitted with basics. Really nice, big bathroom with a good shower (size, water pressure). Unit has a nice covered balcony that’s good for relaxing on and this is a perfect spot if you need a landing pad that’s easy to get to and a pleasant, quiet spot. The owner is very quick to respond to messages and accommodating! Highly recommend!

À propos de l’hôte

Hôte : Ben Peters

Image de profil de l’hôte
My wife (Jennifer) and I have have been in the property management business for many years. She was born here in Grand Marais, and I met her and have been a resident of the area for 15 years. We love everything about the area, and are active, outdoorsy people. We would love to help you plan your stay as well as provided you this beautiful apartment to enjoy.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We were drawn to this property, primarily because of the views and the size of the lot. This building sits on a hill overlooking the village and Lake Superior. Nearly every room has a unique perspective of both the lake as well as the downtown area. Everything is close.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

One of the most unique benefits to this property is that everything is within walking distance. It is close enough to all the action to participate without parking, but far enough away for it to be a quiet space when needed.
