The location, condition of the property, and the beds were wonderful! Suggestion: replace the couch. We love to binge watch TV on our girls trips and the couch in the apartment is past its prime. Thank you for a great time in Grand Marais!

This was a standout VRBO stay for us. The apartment was clean and functional, and very convenient (walkable) to all of downtown Grand Marais. Ben is extremely responsive (I got a reply within eight minutes via the VRBO app) and made sure we had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Would love to come back here next time we're in the area!

The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable with European style bedding. It's a great location within easy walking distance of all attractions. The balcony was a nice place to sit and enjoy being outside. Ben was great and very responsive.

This apartment has a fantastic location! It’s very clean and comfortable. The beds, linens, and towels are great and it’s outfitted with basics. Really nice, big bathroom with a good shower (size, water pressure). Unit has a nice covered balcony that’s good for relaxing on and this is a perfect spot if you need a landing pad that’s easy to get to and a pleasant, quiet spot. The owner is very quick to respond to messages and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Property was great. Large and quite comfortable. Much better than any hotel I've stayed at in the area. The host was very easy to communicate with and helpful, but not overbearing. Location was excellent. I would stay here again.

Accommodations were comfortable and right for what we needed. We just needed a place to regroup after spending the day in the BWCA, so this was just right. Check-in was pretty seamless, though I needed to contact the owner to know which unit we were staying in. All in all, a good place for a home base when staying in Grand Marais and exploring the surrounding area.

Close to everything

This is a simple no frills rental with the essentials for a pleasant stay. The location was great; a short block from downtown and a couple from Lake Superior and Artist Point. Would stay again when we come back to Grand Marais.

We were very satisfied with our accommodations. Spacious rooms. Plenty of room in kitchen to cook our meals. The only thing I would suggest is that they put at least one end table or coffee table by the couch.

I have stayed here before (last year) and this year, unfortunately, the stock of kitchen utensils and pans, etc. had drastically decreased. There were not even enough plates for all of us to eat dinner together. You should at least have enough utensils and plates, bowls, cups to serve the amount of people your place sleeps. There were no sheet pans for the oven. There was no type of large bowl for salad. There was no pizza cutter. I tried to make dinner for my family both nights and had to buy kitchen items at the local grocery store in order to make dinner. I luckily brought coffee with me. There was a coffee maker and filters but no coffee or sugar. Also, the balcony reeked of urine this year, so we didn’t go out there. The place is really cute, besides that. And I love how close it is to the grocery store and downtown Grand Marais.

Comfortable, close to everything!

The beds are especially comfortable, I was attending the folk school and needed some supplies that would not have been allowed through TSA and the owner was very cooperative and supplied them for me. Everything was described. It is a bit ‘bare bones’, but serviceable.

We were drawn to this property, primarily because of the views and the size of the lot. This building sits on a hill overlooking the village and Lake Superior. Nearly every room has a unique perspective of both the lake as well as the downtown area. Everything is close.

One of the most unique benefits to this property is that everything is within walking distance. It is close enough to all the action to participate without parking, but far enough away for it to be a quiet space when needed.
