Chalet d'été confortable, à un mile de l'historique Watch Hill et à 1/2 mile d'East Beach. Ceci est une maison de plan d'étage ouvert propre sur un terrain boisé de 1 acre et projeté dans le porche de Watch Hill Rd. Great Summer Cottage

We loved the screened porch for morning coffee and enjoying a few rainy days. Great location for scenic walks and not too far from the village or beach access. Ken was very helpful in answering any questions and ensuring our stay was seamless.

Lovely Home in Great Condition

I've never rented such a lovely house in such good condition! The pictures don't do it justice. The stairs lead to a bit of a loft, putting a very high ceiling over the living room, which gives it an airy feeling. The screened in porch is just heavenly. Also, we didn't know it would come equipped with a bike, a ton of beach chairs, boogie boards, Scrabble, cards, etc. Our only complaint had to do with Watch Hill, whose exclusivity translates into a lack of diversity, illegal blocking of beach access by seaside homeowners, and byzantine parking regulations designed to keep nonresidents out. To be clear, the rental comes with a parking sticker, but even then you need to learn where and how it can be used. If only the neighborhood of Watch Hill could be as awesome as this house is! The house itself was wonderful, and you can easily orient yourself toward Westerly and Misquamicut Beach if you prefer a more democratic vibe.

Watch Hill vacation

This is a perfect size house for a family vacation. It came with a parking pass for beach access, and the Watch Hill shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Excellent internet service with Verizon FIOS. A public Donald Ross designed golf course was just a five minute drive away. This property needs no improvement!

Charming Watch Hikl Cottage

We enjoyed a week at this cozy, well-appointed cottage. It's within walking distance of Watch Hill beaches, lighthouse, and shops. It was ideal for the two of us and would be great for a small family.

Wonderful Watch Hill Vacation

The home and property were immaculate and absolutely charming. We especially enjoyed dinners out in the beautifully lit screened in porch at the end of the day, where we could actually hear the sound of the waves crashing. We made wonderful family memories in Watch Hill this summer, which we will certainly cherish for years to come. Thank you for everything Ken!

Wonderful Stay!

Our family recently spent a week at Ken's lovely home in Watch Hill. Ken was an excellent and responsive host and his house was perfect for a wonderful family vacation. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the house clean and very well maintained. The screened-in porch was a bonus and we spent hours enjoying the quiet and comfortable space it provided. We loved the easy access to the village either by an easy walk or the parking passes Ken provided. We highly recommend this house and would love to stay again!

Great Vacation Spot

It was a great house for a family summer vacation. The house was clean and spacious. The screened in porch was a nice d addition and the outside was great for kids to play yard games. Easy ride or walk to WH beaches and the passes made parking a breeze. Ken was a great host and always available for any questions. Definitely will plan to go back.

Relaxing, easy week close to beautiful Ocean beach

This house has an easy, beachy vibe with a lovely screened-in porch where we enjoyed all of our meals. We set up croquet in the yard, and were able to come and go on bicycles to access un-crowded ocean beachfront. The house is on a well-travelled street, but it is separated from traffic by a generous front yard, so traffic noise was not a problem. The house is an easy run/walk from the small waterfront town, where we enjoyed evening sunsets, ice cream, etc.! The host, Ken, was very responsive. We also appreciated the parking pass that allowed us to park in the small town without paying the $30-40 per day for parking! Surrounding neighborhoods were beautiful for exploring. We loved it here.

Wonderful Get-Away

Perfect cottage setting for our family! Location was ideal and parking passes were much appreciated. Cottage was in great order, very clean and had everything we needed as we dined in many evenings. A big plus was the lower level bedrooms for my parents. The screened in porch was lovely as was the outdoor shower! Would definite recommend and hope to return!

Perfection

We loved everything about this house. It is beautifully decorated, designed and clean, with comfortable beds, great linens and toiletries, a well stocked pantry, all sorts of kitchen gadgets and cookware. There are many nice touches such as the bug free, airy screened porch for your morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine and the flick of a switch gas fireplace for chilly mornings. Proximity to fabulous Watch Hill, East Beach and Napatree (with parking permits) makes this house the perfect beach accommodation. Our host, Ken, was available if needed but we couldn’t think of anything that would have improved our stay.

Great house house in Watch Hill

This house was perfect. We had 2 adults and 4 kids (early teen to later teen) and we were very impressed. Just a short drive (2 min) to Watch Hill and parking passes included. Had every amenity. Owner was available if needed but we didn't need anything! We had a really nice beach vacation!

Loved it!

We really loved our stay here, the screened in porch was so nice, the house is so well appointed with every amenity that you could think of. The location is close to the beaches and the Village, communication with Ken was very good, and most importantly for me it was spotless clean. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope it’s available on our next visit to Westerly.
