Casa De Los Pajaros est la SEULE maison privée en bord de mer sur Playa La Ropa, la plage la plus idyllique de Zihuatanejo. Il se trouve à 20 minutes en voiture de l'aéroport et à quelques pas des stations balnéaires de renommée mondiale Thompson Zihuatanejo et Casa que Canta. La maison est située sur une oasis de 1,5 hectares avec des zones de plage, des espaces de jeux, des palmiers matures et des arbres fruitiers. Détendez-vous et profitez de la brise sous la palapa, la magnifique baie et la plage ou nagez dans notre piscine de 65 pieds en pierre de riviÚre locale. Everything was excellent from the food to the location the assistance with everything on the property. My family had a wonderful time.Got to enjoy watching sea turtles being hatched and released into the sea, iguanas lounging, and crocodile swimming in the bay.This is definitely a repeat property

Likely the best spot in Zihuatanejo

This was an exceptional stay for our family. The property, location, amenities, and service were all exceptional. I can't say enough positive things about the service of Manuel and the team. Our food and drinks were fantastic - I would highly recommend that visitors have him prepare as many meals as possible on site to enjoy the space and all the different meals they will make fresh. All the orders and transactions were easy, transparent, and a very good value.

We had an amazing stay!

The property and the staff here are the best. The rooms were all a nice size and comfortable. Manuel was an amazing host. Breakfast was delicious and dinners that he and Daphne prepared for us were better than any restaurant that we went to. He also indulged us with afternoon margaritas by the pool that were top notch. He was always available with a recommendation or getting us a cab into town. We were well taken care of. We will definitely return!

Our stay at this beachfront property was absolutely unforgettable. The location exceeded our expectations, offering stunning views and direct beach access, with the best restaurants just a 2-minute walk away.The house was spotless, with incredibly soft and clean beds, linens, and towels. The cleaning team ensured everything was refreshed daily, and the grounds were impeccably maintained. The property had all the amenities we could imagine, and the pool was a highlight.What truly made our stay memorable was Manuel, the cook and groundskeeper. Casa De Los Pajaros-

We cannot say enough about this wonderful property, Manuel-the onsite property caretaker and his wife and daughter, the location on the beach and the ease with which everything unfolded while we were there. We had not been to Zihuatenejo before and were looking for a very relaxed and easy going vacation for our family. With two teenage boys to entertain I was a bit concerned there wouldn't be enough to do, but they loved the pool, and the beach right outside the property offered banana boating, parasailing, jet skiing, and massages at a very cheap price! The food in Zihua was amazing everywhere we went- from hotels to local places, but most of all right on property. Margarita, Mitzi and Manuel were amazing hosts and Margarita's guacamole was the best in the whole area! Trust me! We tried them all! Of particular note was New Years Eve when Manuel set up an outdoor dinner for the 4 of us, complete with decorations and chairs on the beach for the front row fireworks show. It was amazing. We were also connected with a wonderful guide- Javier- who took good care of us on our excursions. This was a perfect holiday!

Endless possibilities!

The property itself is simply spectacular. The description and the photos are accurate, but fail to truly capture how amazing the home is. Our stay was for one week, but we could have easily done 2. The location is ideally located on playa la ropa. Fantastic walks on the beach. Lots of activities one can participate in. The home is very private, safe and meticulously maintained. Each Bed room is well appointed with excellent air conditioning which made sleeping very comfortable. The pool is awesome and very relaxing. The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off the ocean salt water. Dinner on the beach, amazing sunsets, and tranquil days. Despite the amazing home, pool, beach and location, what really made our stay memorable was Manuel and his family. Their dedication and commitment to making our stay special was above and beyond. It is evident that they take pride in creating a once in a life time experience. Many thanks Manuel for going the extra mile for our group. Your cooking was fantastic, and we could taste the love in every meal. We will definitely be going back.

An oasis in the middle of a very popular beach

Hard not to surrender to the perfect hospitality of Manuel who runs the house. From delicious Mexican breakfasts to candlelight dinners on the beach, Manuel and his daughter Mitzi are exceptional gracious hosts and made every day and every meal a transporting and memorable experience. We recommend eating many meals at the home, as the food competes with anything you would find at the local restaurants. If you come at the right time of year, you will have the privilege of watching baby turtles hatch in your backyard and make their way to the sea. The spacious outdoor living room was a perfect hub for our family where we spent hours doing puzzles and playing games as we watched the waves crash right in front of us. Manuel sets up chairs each morning on the house’s private beach so even the beach got a bit crowded in the days leading to New Years, Casa De Pajaros remained an oasis with beautiful views from every corner of the property. We loved walking right onto the beach in front of the house and renting jet skies, going parasailing and taking beautiful beach walks. The sunsets on Playa La Ropa are beautiful and Manuel prepared guacamole and margaritas that we sipped from our beach as we watched the sun go down each night. A very special, relaxing, and enchanted time had by all!

Perfect beach get-away

Casa de los Pajaros was amazing. The location is excellent, right on Playa la Ropa with no steps to the beach. The house is a lovely, tropical style home with open air living space and air conditioned bedrooms. There is a full kitchen so you can cook if you want but with so many great restaurants a short walk down the beach or an in-house chef, why? Amenities: we all agreed that the beds were quite comfortable with high quality sheets and pillows. Unlimited filtered water in the kitchen came in very handy. Beach chairs and towels, umbrellas, boogie boards all provided. The pool was wonderful, very clean and refreshing. The caretakers: Manuel, his wife Margarita and daughter Mitzi were wonderful. They were always nearby when we needed them but not intrusive. We had them prepare dinner for us twice (additional fee)and it was amazing. The chili rellenos and fajitas were perhaps some of the best I've ever had and at a very reasonable price. Manuel served us chilled coconut water upon arrival which was such a nice welcome after a hot day of travel. Re: configuration of the house itself Our group included 2 teenagers so the one bedroom with bunk beds was great for them but I don't know how it would be if a couple had that room. Also one of the other 3 bedrooms was considerably smaller than the other 2 so that could be an issue for some groups. Each bedroom had it's own private bath along with a bathroom in the living area and another by the pool . The only less than perfect comments are that there are a few deferred maintence items at the house that need attention (dining chair with broken seat, fan control). Also, it would be nice if the owner would consider some reduced pricing for longer stays. According to the website, that is not an option currently. Overall, our 8 day stay just flew by and I just wish we were still there! Thank you to Manuel, Margarita, Mitzi and Natalie (In LA) for such a wonderful stay at the Casa. We'll be back!

Simply Paradise.

You couldn’t ask for a better location than Casa de Los Pajaros in Playa del Ropa. Situated on a pristine piece of beach and nestled in between a few restaurants, it is in an ideal spot. Playa del Ropa is a great beach with local flavor and tourists alike. There’s plenty of space, it’s well maintained and there are several choices of food and drink within walking distance. There is a cluster of boutique hotels at the other end, but the house is situated on the quieter end with easy access to Playa Las Gatas for snorkeling. Manuel has the beach in front of the house ready for whatever your heart desires with umbrellas, chairs, tables, sand toys and more. Manuel. Oh, Manuel. His hospitality is unrivaled. He is thoughtful and kind worked hard to take care of our groups needs. We traveled as a group of two families with 4 kids under 10 and he went out of his way to engage with them- taking them to feed iguanas, spot the crocodiles and have candy and prizes for games he made up. He took good care of the adults too- making recommendations for dinner choices (he and his family are amazing cooks). Manuel also made us a very special dinner on our second to last night on the beach. I don’t want to spoil all his surprises incase he does the same for you, but it was wonderful and enjoyed by all. The house itself is quite comfortable with 2 master bedrooms, a room with bunk beds and a room with a king or queen bed. The house is well kept and clean with solid, well made furniture and a lot of different spaces for breaking off for time by yourself or to gather in a group. All rooms have AC which was much appreciated for sleeping at night. Beds are very firm, as is often the case outside the US. Kitchen is small/basic and yet they continued to turn out amazing food for every meal! This place is a little slice of heaven and we look forward to returning.

Zihuat Casa de Los Pajaros

Our family with 6 adults and 4 children (ages 4-76) enjoyed our weeklong stay at the Casa on playa La Ropa. LOCATION: perfect! Sandy private beach leads to public beach, restaurants and bars are steps away on each side. Opportunities are close for parasailing, inflatable rides, hair braiding, massages. Walking into town is feasible but a one-way taxi ride was about $3. Sunsets and night lights were beautiful. PROPERTY: a large “compound” is gated and secured at beach and at small lane. A gardener/caretaker tended the beautiful flowers, pool and all the spaces every day. POOL: best ever—large, beautiful, lined with smooth stones, ideal temp, pool toys available, covered lounging space at poolside—as well as restroom and shower. Pool was well used! CASA: three bedroom suites, each with bathroom and shower, 1 smaller bedroom with large bunk beds. The plus was all the outdoor covered space. House staff did an excellent job of cleaning and maintaining. FOOD: Manuel provided a light breakfast each day—always with coffee, juices, fresh fruit, accompanied by hot cakes, French toast, mixed rolls or muffins, sometimes cold cuts. Manuel and his wife and daughter were amazing! We requested food upon our arrival and arranged for several dinners. We have high praise for all they did from the kitchen and on the grill. Really amazing. Trust him for suggestions! This will be a long-time favorite and memorable vacation!

Amazing

4 couples stayed in this amazing beach house. It has everything you need with space to spread out. All 4 bedrooms have private bathrooms. The property is well maintained and safe. The best part is Manuel and the staff. They are willing to create amazing meals for you. The pool area is huge. We really enjoyed our stay. The whole team helped you with everything. They even helped us schedule COVID tests on-site. Very clean.

Incredible stay

Hard to find words to describe how incredible this house is. It was pure luxury! We loved having our own space, huge pool, and beachfront access. It felt like we had a slice of our own private beach. Manuel is the absolute best and was always there to help us with questions or organize trips/transportation. His romantic dinner on the beach truly was the best dinner experience of our lives - and he even helped us save a baby sea turtle on the beach :) Many more little gems with Manuel we will never ever forget. Wonderful stay

Everything is amazing about this property. Right on the beach and near everything!! Restaurants at a walking distance. Manuel and his crew go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and want. You will not want to leave this place. We will definitely return

Heaven

The common consensus is this was best vacation ever. This from diverse group of friends aged 16 to 65. Spectacular house, amazing location, and Manuel the ultimate host. The food prepared by him and Roxie unbelievable. However, if you prefer to eat out, restaurants are short walk down the beach. Ocean activities, parasailing, massages, etc on beach no reservation needed. You can’t go wrong booking to come to this paradise.

This intimate home includes hotel-style amenities with a private pool and a large palapa pool house for enjoyment. There are 3 master bedrooms with king beds and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. All have full, ensuite bathrooms and three have beach views. The home is walled and set behind a gated automatic door to add to the feeling of safety and seclusion from the outside world. The live-in caretakers and maid who have their own small cottage just off the side of the property, are available to answer questions - whether property related, fetching a cab or where to shop - throughout your stay. Manuel, your concierge/caretaker and wonderful chef specializes in farm to table Mexican cuisine. All together, this luxurious vacation rental ensures you a truly memorable stay in paradise.
