Villa Magic Hill.
This brand new villa is just finished, July of 2020 and completed with the highest standards.
Luxurious in style the villa has a lovely infinity pool offering stunning uninterrupted sea views across the Ionian sea to Ithaka - sunrise will be worth getting up early for during your stay, at least once.
Based up an 800 metres private drive the villa offers easy access to the village of Agia Efimia, a traditional Greek village with bustling tavernas and yachts that moor up in the late afternoon. Lovely beach 15 minute's walk from the villa.
Sleeps 6. Very comfortable house since all 3 Bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms) situated at the ground floor, together with Kichen and Living room.
No stairs to climb up

Outside there is a large private infinity pool with sun loungers and a built in BBQ on the patio. The villa has air conditioning throughout.

Amazing views

Absolutely loved our stay at this amazing villa, the views were spectacular. The villa had everything you needed and the hosts, Amalia and Dimitris was extremely helpful from checkin until leaving. We have stayed in many villas in many different countries and they were by far the most helpful hosts . Loved it !

Modern villa in a serene location

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Magic Hill. The location is great up on a hill in the town of Agia Efimia, which was our favorite village on Kefalonia. The road leading up to the villa is very steep (which we were very proud of ourselves for walking several times) and it is right next to a goat farm which makes for a very serene setting because you can hear the goat bells in the morning and evening when you are enjoying the outdoor space and the wonderful pool. Just at the bottom of the hill is the main coastal road leading to the harbor, which is lined with lovely restaurants to choose from and a couple of shops and is a pretty place to walk around. The Papadatou family that owns the villa was wonderful to us. Dimitris was extremely responsive to any requests/questions we had, cleaning service was provided 2 times during our stay, and the Papadatous also own a mini market nearby, from which we purchased some basic groceries several times. The air conditioning works well which was a bonus because it was very hot while we were there at the end of June. The location near the middle of the island allowed us to get to points either at the southern or northern ends of the island in about an hour in either direction. An added bonus is that you are able to flush toilet paper, which we discovered is not allowed in most restaurants & shops on the island! Great family memories made here.

Superbe villa

La villa est encore mieux en vrai qu'en photo! Elle est neuve et faite avec des matériaux de qualité, très bien équipée, la piscine à débordement est géniale et la vue est exceptionnelle. Très bon contact avec le gérant, très sympathique et réactif, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié les fruits, légumes et boissons de bienvenue, ainsi que le potager à disposition des hôtes. Une voiture est indispensable par contre. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons chaudement la villa.

Two week holiday

We enjoyed two beautiful weeks at Magic Hill Villa. On arrival the villa was immaculately clean. Being on such a hill, we throughly enjoyed the most amazing view and some beautiful sunrises! The villa was cleaned and all bed linen changed every few days. The villa is set at the top of a steep hill, we did walk this on occasion but when we had shopping etc, the days we didn’t have a car, Dimitris was incredibly helpful and obliging - he would either deliver the shopping for us, drive us or arrange a taxi. Whilst renting a car for the two weeks would have been handy it actually wasn’t necessary due to how helpful Dimitris and the locals were. Once you are down the hill Agia Efimia is a very short walk, we enjoyed some lovely evenings having a cocktail by the sea or enjoying the local Gyros. We visited some local beaches which were stunning such as Antisamos and also would highly recommend visiting Fiskardo.

Lovely villa

The villa is above Agia Efimia in a private location with great views and lots of space around the pool to relax and a barbecue area. The living area is well laid out and the kitchen appears well equipped although we didn’t actually cook anything. The bedrooms were comfortable and the aircon worked effectively. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with, easy to get hold of when necessary. The road up is quite steep but it is possible to get a taxi if necessary. Overall we had a great time and would happily stay again if we were visiting the area.

Absolutely Stunning

From the booking process to check in everything was perfect and simple. The Villa is beautiful as you would expect from a brand new property and the view is to die for. We had everything we needed although some tongs for the BBQ for would be useful. Plenty of cutlery and crockery. Everything was immaculate. The walk down to the village is quite steep and not particularly well lit. However, the local taxi service which we used was excellent. It is unfortunate that we were there during the hurricane which left us without power and no access to the village for 2 days. Much of the island was left devastated, and Afia Efimia did not avoid it either. It was really upsetting to see the destruction. However, Dimitris walked up to us with some supplies as the storm was fading for which we were extremely grateful. Wonderful villa and even better hosts. You couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to go back

Wonderful

Dimitris' villa is beautiful. Up on the hill overlooking the bay at Agia Efimia is a wonderful way of waking up each morning. The villa is brand new and well designed. Dimitris was a perfect host and more than willing to assist with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Perfect holiday

The property itself was fully equipped, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the patio was stunning especially in the evening on a clear night. Location is very good if you are looking to explore the island but would equally suit if you wish to isolate to a smaller area. Plenty of bars and restaurants, a small but very nice beach near by and Sami a 15min drive away. I'd like to use this review to thank Dimitri and his father who were extremely helpful, thoughtful and generous during our stay. They made us feel as if we were part of their family and were always there for us. I cannot wait to return and look forward to seeing Dimitri and more of Kefalonia again soon.

Luxuriöse Unterkunft mit unglaublichem Ausblick

Nagelneue, sehr hochwertig ausgestattete Unterkunft mit einem unglaublichen Ausblick auf die Bucht von Sami. Das Haus mit dem Infinity-Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein Auto oder ein Motorrad sind zu empfehlen, da das Haus in sehr ruhiger Lage ca. 500 Meter oberhalb des Ortes liegt.
