Welcoming and home like apartment. Host's mother met us at the stairs to take us to the apartment and arranged transportation for after our stay. Snacks were provided for us. The town was charming and was one of our favorite places during our trip. The host asked us to try his father's olive oil and it was delicious!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ravello. The house was excellent with beautiful views of the dramatic coast line and surrounding areas. The hosts were excellent from start to finish, very helpful and welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay.

Beautiful place with breathtaking view. It’s clean, there’s a nice welcoming basket, it smells amazing and the bed is so comfortable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! Literally perfect for our vacation. Wished we planned to stay longer. The only small recommendation I have for other guests is to rent mopeds if you plan on staying here. The home is located high up in the mountains and I would imagine it would be a hassle to always take the bus if you wanted to explore more than just Ravello. Also thank you to both the hosts, you guys were great. Can’t wait to come back again :)

We visited Ravello for a wedding and had a wonderful stay at grandma Carmelina. It is tucked away in a large piece of property surrounded by gardens with many other apartments owned by one family. NWe were met upon check-in by Rosella who was welcoming and hospitable. She gave us a quick tour and thoroughly explained the apartment. There was ample storage for all our stuff. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with espresso and snacks. We stayed with our two boys, ages 10 and 12. The sofa bed was perfect for them to share. The shower was small but my 6’3” husband was still able to make it work. The washing machine worked great as we had to do laundry during our stay.Daniela (her brother) communicated quickly and thoroughly with every question we had. They gave us tips for getting around, where to eat and how to navigate transportation. There are lots of stairs everywhere in Ravello (including their property) but we are a very active family so it was no problem. It is a bit of walk from the main area in town but we loved exploring the town and walking around like the locals. There is a small park near the property with a playground and a soccer field - perfect if you have small children and need to run around.

One day stay

Arrived in Ravello on a very hot day. The location is a 15 minute walk from bus drop off and the entire walk is uphill with many steps. Hosts did not meet us to help us get there or with our luggage. Although they called to give directions, it is very difficult to navigate Ravello streets when you are not from there especially in the heat with heavy luggage. Other hosts I have had have been much more accommodating and helpful with our stay. This is so important when you are in a foreign county. We felt very rushed and like an inconvenience to them. Although they sent links with directions to attractions it would have been nice if they’d spent more time talking to us and giving us physical directions. Although the apartment has a nice view and was clean the journey it takes to get there is not worth it.

We are sorry that it was not a good stay for you but you can see the reviews and scores we have on all platforms. We always offer the best to our customers. I am a tour guide and work with clients from all over the world on a daily basis. Giving information and directions is my job but you seemed rather tired and disoriented. We live in one of the most beautiful places in the world where hospitality is taught in the cradle. I immediately met you in the street and helped you with your luggage even on the stairs. My brother had guided you by phone to help you. If you wanted someone to help you with your luggage from the bus stop you should perhaps booked in a 4-5 star hotel with pick up service and bellboys at your service, and not a holiday house. If you wanted a driver who would drop you off under the apartment, all you had to do was book a private transfer. I think we helped you to get to your destination. It is described that there are stairs to access our apartment as well as the distance from the center. If you wanted a flat place you were in the wrong destination. Those who choose the Amalfi coast know very well that you have to walk and that there are a lot of stairs, as I elegantly told you, are the price to pay for such a beautiful place. Beautiful things are uncomfortable but only few appreciate them. We are sorry you were not among these few. Rossella and Daniele

A family affair

A friend and I were in Ravello celebrating a friend's wedding- we absolutely had the best accommodations of the group. The apartment is spacious and clean, with a queen (two twins connected) bed in the bedroom and a large pull-out couch, also queen. The bedroom has plenty of closet space with good hangers, as well as drawers and extra pillows. Large kitchen is well stocked and has a gas stove in case you want to cook or tire of eating out. The views from this unit are magnificent-- you are on the ocean side of the mountain and can spend hours just looking at the sea and mountains from the large window in the common area. Overall the space is very clean and comfortable-- the bathroom is adequately sized and the shower gets exceptionally hot. One excellent feature is that there are two access gates- one on the main road, and one that takes you directly into town. Both gates require a key to open, so safety is not an issue. Regardless of which entrance you choose, it is a short 10 minute walk into the main square in Ravello. Daniele is a very kind, gracious host and a great communicator. We met his mother, who the unit is named for, who was also very kind. It is quite unique and special to meet multiple family members who help manage the rental. They will help you find a driver if you need to day-trip in the area or an easy pickup/return to the airport or train station. Daniele and his family helped take care of things so that we could enjoy our stay with minimal stress.
