Ce condo de vacances à front de mer se trouve à Destin, en Floride, le long de la côte d'émeraude. Cette unité lumineuse et confortable est une carrelage en céramique et dispose d'un lit king dans la chambre des maîtres et de deux lits doubles dans la deuxième chambre. Les chambres et le salon sont équipés de téléviseurs à écran plat. Il offre un grand canapé sectionnel et une cheminée électrique dans le salon pour une ambiance accrue. Le balcon privé dispose de 2 rockers, 2 chaises et un salon et offre une belle vue sur la plage et la piscine pour votre détente et votre plaisir. L'unité est cotée Argent - location au taux de bronze.

We loved the location and closeness to the beach. I never did get any responses back on my messages to our host but thankfully the front desk of the property was very helpful. One downside of the condo was the lack of outlets. In this day & age, even just the basics would have been appreciated. I almost thought if we had known ahead of time, I would have brought extension cords/power strips. We did enjoy the overall experience but the condo is definitely dated. I would still stay there again though.

We love all that the Islander has to offer and hope to go back again soon. Only one major disappointment this year...Our beach attendant Allen wasn't there and was replaced with people who could care less if you even existed. Alan was a great piece of the Islander and they should definitely find a way to get him back.

iSLANDER REVIEW

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ive stayed at this resort many times, even owned a condo there at one time. I was disappointed this time. There were a number of issues from the very beginning. The outside furniture was damaged and filthy. Several of the lats on the blinds in the master bedroom were broken. Lock on the sliding door worked about half the time. The ice maker didn't work, however, my fruits and vegetables froze in the refrigerator. There was some noticeable damage to the sheetrock in the guest bathroom. Red spots down the side of the refrigerator and wall (assuming it was a red sports drink}. The drip pans on the stove needed a good cleaning. The point being, this unit had several things that needed repaired and I think the place could have used a good cleaning. I reported the patio furniture and the icemaker because I didn't want to be held responsible for the damage. It just felt like there wasn't the attention to detail that I experienced when I was an owner. Maybe, it was just this unit. One final thing, I was called one day when I was away and one of the workers said that he had tried to enter the unit but the door was locked. I was at the unit at the time but likely on the patio or in the bathroom. I told him the unit would be locked any time I was there but even so, I was uncomfortable with anyone from the resort entering a unit that i was renting, without prior notice or in the case of an emergency.

2024 Family Vacation

Reviewer Comments: Fabulous location, Perfect view of the ocean with seats for five on the porch, comfortable beds, spacious for the five of us, lots of kitchen,tools, everything was really clean, plenty of towels for pool and beach, appreciated that there was a staff member in the lobby for check-in and questions, pool was perfectly cleaned at all times and warm. The beach was as close as it could be. And the two comfort beach chairs and umbrella were glorious. Saw dolphins the morning I got up early-straight from our porch right in front :-) couldn’t have been happier. I just would have brought potholders if I were to change my preparations :-)

The confirmations were fast and the information to the room was promptly received. Upon arriving, the front desk, staff was great. When we got to the room, the view was fantastic and it was the first thing my kids saw. The room was perfect for what we needed. The balcony was larger than your normal balcony and we spent a majority of the time on it. The way the room overlooked the pool Was great because I could see my kids in the pool from the balcony that was a huge benefit. We also really liked how they had a few activities for the kids, they did the Sandcastle building and my son really enjoyed it. Everything in the room was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

Before they got there,3 big men helped pry the door opened. Milani was sweating and sitting in the corner scared to death and refused to ride on one again.Very scary for her and Zach both. It would have been nice to get some type of discount. qer

We were pleasantly surprised— amazing ocean view from the balcony and master bedroom window. All beds were incredibly comfortable and the condo was clean. If anything needs improvement, it would be updating the bathrooms and sofa / decor in the living area. All were fully functional and in perfect working order, just looking a bit tired and in need of refreshing.

Activities daily for kids/families that was a nice touch. We grilled at the gazebo area and swam at both pools which was nice because it one pool was crowded we would check the other. One day we did get locked out from the balcony (was stuck on the balcony) but called and someone came right up. We don’t know how it happened because no one was on the inside to lock the balcony door. I would recommend this condo. Restaurants nearby that we went to were The Back Porch, McGuires, Rockin Tacos, Merlin’s Pizza, Whataburger and Krispie Kreme. Great location.

Great Location Not So Clean Room

I wiped up kitchen floors with towel and afterwards towel was black with dirt. This was when we first entered condo. You had to either keep shoes on or wipe feet off before going to bed. I stayed in a different room last year and had same problem.

Reviewer Comments: We usually visit the Islander in August but due to an upcoming and unexpected surgery for our daughter we had to reschedule our vacation to June. Unit 407 was literally the only unit available for the week we needed and so we took it! We have stayed in the same unit for the past 8 years so we were nervous. Once we arrived we quickly realized that this unit would more then suit our needs! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! As always the Islander was our perfect spot and beach service by Alan was exceptional! Until next year!!!
