Ce condo de vacances en front de mer est situé à Destin, en Floride, le long de la côte d'Émeraude. Promenez-vous sur la plage de sable blanc, nagez dans le golfe bleu clair ou détendez-vous sur votre balcon privé avec une vue spectaculaire. Votre location comprend un service de plage gratuit, une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite, deux piscines et bains à remous, des courts de tennis, des barbecues et un accès rapide aux restaurants, un parc aquatique, un golf, des magasins de pêche et branchés ainsi que des centres commerciaux. Toutes les unités sont non-fumeurs.

L'unité n ° 605 peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes avec un roi dans la chambre principale, une télévision 32 ', 2 lits jumeaux dans la chambre d'amis 20' et un nouveau canapé-lit queen-size dans le salon une télévision 48 '. Cette location de vacances à Destin a été récemment rénovée. L'unité a carrelage dans les espaces de vie et nouveau tapis dans les deux chambres. Le salon dispose d'un grand téléviseur à écran plat et d'un lecteur DVD et de nouveaux meubles de salon. Les deux chambres ont une télévision à écran plat et un lecteur DVD. La cuisine a été totalement rénovée avec de nouvelles armoires, comptoirs en granit, éclairage et tous les appareils en acier inoxydable. Master bain a deux lavabos et les deux salles de bains ont de nouvelles armoires et des comptoirs en granit. Peinture fraîche à travers l'unité.

Great get a away

Very pleasant experience. Easy access to everything. Love the shopping carts to help unload items. Definitely would return again. Love the private beach the property is located on. Made us feel very secure while staying there.

Not great

This is our third time in Destin and the Islander is definitely the least favorite. If you don’t mind being around shrieking kids, loud music, obnoxiously huge groups of partiers, then maybe you won’t mind. But if you want a nice quiet relaxing beach vacation, stay away from the Islander. We actually left a day early and we’ve never done that in our life! The condo itself was okay. But not great. The bed was not real comfortable and the pillows were weirdly small and the sheets were scratchy. Will not stay here again.

UNIT 605 *FANTASTIC VIEW*

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our third stay at the Islander. First stay in Unit 605. Let me start by saying the Management at the Islander is top notch. So friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and we have never had any issues. That being said - upon arrival we noted the following: Cracked Mirror in the front room, Broken dresser drawer, broken closet door, dirty shower track. I immediately took pictures and reported it to the front desk. They were very accommodating and offered to send Maintenance up immediately to fix the issues. I did not feel that these things were make or break at the time and we would just deal with them during our stay. I did wipe down the shower track myself. Tub and shower were clean! Management appreciated the fact that I reported these issues. They hire out for cleaning and unless somebody reports the issues they may never know. What I do highly enjoy about the Islander is that the complex is small compared to other places. Beach service is included. I will definitely stay at the Islander again and highly recommend it. Looking forward to next year's stay.

Overall a good place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this is a nice place to stay. We stayed in the east wing and had a great view of the ocean. A very short walk to the beach and Bryson, the beach attendant, was very kind and helpful, always greeting us when we came down. My only complaint with the unit itself was the bathrooms. The vanities are all updated and nice; however, the tub/showers are old and have sliding glass doors on tracks that always look nasty, even if they are clean. Caulking was coming off down into the tub when we showered. The kitchen was well-stocked as far as dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Appliances all worked nicely. The sleeper sofa wasn't very comfortable to sit on and is a bit worn, but it wasn't a deal breaker. There were several outlets/ light switches that didn't work- I called about the outlet in the master bath not working (there was only one, which doesn't make sense in a double sink bathroom), and they sent someone up within a few hours to fix it- however there were several others that I didn't call about because we didn't NEED them. The unit itself was nicely furnished and decorated and we enjoyed it there.My biggest complaint about our stay was the weather- we were there for Spring Break and it never got much over 70 degrees and only had one sunny day- but that obviously isn't anyone's fault! I would stay here again, but would choose a different time of the year next time.

Bath tubs had rust and dated sliding shower doors with rusted tracks that made them hard to open. The placement of toilet made it hard to get in and out of tub. Mattresses were extremely uncomfortable and old.

Condo appeared to have been recently stripped down. I mean way down, even the darling lighting over kitchen table that had lil starfish was replaced with plan lighting. Bedding was replaced with plan white cheap looking bedding. Hardly any cooking utensils, not even a tea pitcher. Was not the condo I paid for, I paid for a upper price condo. Was my sixth year staying at The Islander, but already looking to book somewhere else for next year.

The location was great, 2-3 minute walk to the beach. The view from the condo was amazing, you can see the beach from the living room & the balcony. The tubs could use some major cleaning though.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was on 6th floor of The Islander and had a great view of pool and gulf from the balcony. It was well furnished except for the couch and loveseat in living area which had had a lot of wear. Our only concern were the tub showers which were very old and slick with no grab bars. One had to step over a high side to get in. Kitchen was very nice.
