Amazing cottage, great views, so relaxing , massively recommend

After such a long drive, we instantly felt relaxed once we settled into the cottage, place was spotless, everything we needed was available, and a great week pub across the road. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful, and couldn't do enough for us

Perfect home from home!

A beautiful property in a lovely location, well equipped with everything needed for our stay whilst visiting South Wales to celebrate a family wedding! Communication from Simon was prompt and the booking was without issue from the offset! Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Relaxing holiday in top notch accommodation

The Anchorage and Tackleshed provided the perfect accommodation for myself and most of my adult children to gather together for a week of some relaxation, and catching up with friends and family. We arrived on one of the hottest days of the year and were relieved to find the accommodation light and airy. We were also very grateful for the fans provided by our kind host. All in all we felt very much at home and really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic

The Anchorage is a beautiful cottage with lovely views, myself and my family stayed here the weekend just gone for 2 nights and we loved every minute of it, everything is provided for you there’s nothing you could ask for. I definitely recommend this cottage so modern and spacious, only a 10 minute drive to Barri island, lots of amenities around so if you needed anything it’s only a short drive away. We have made a pat to visit this stunning cottage on a yearly basis it’s just stunning.

A lovely stay in a wonderful cottage with very friendly owners - Loved every minute of it

Sorry for the delay in sending this review. We stayed at the Anchorage and Tackleshed in the summer of 2018 and was so impressed with the place we stayed in. It was very clean, the owners were absolutely amazing, very helpful even lent us their barbecue. The dog was very friendly and very good with young children. The only criticism is that the bedroom upstairs is only suitable for a couple or couple with children, We had 6 adults and two had to sleep on the floor in the living room.
