Gorgeous barn conversion cottage. The bedroom balconies were fantastic as well as the wood stove/fireplace. Lovely location with great views, will definitely be back!

This is a lovely cottage, away from the noise of the city and surrounded by horses and natures finest. We enjoyed our time here immensely and especially appreciated the wonderful and attentive host Jane!

We had a lovely stay here. Property was clean and amazing location! Our biys and dogs loved the garden. Host was very welcoming and friendly. Beds comfortable, would definitely stay again. Our boys said it was rhe best holiday ever!

Lovely property in a great location for visiting Cardiff and the surrounding area. Plenty of room for a family of 4 plus a dog. Hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay.

The Gallops was lovely, comfortable and clean as well as being dog friendly, this has not always been my experience of holiday accommodation. The host, Jane, was great and visited us on the evening of arrival to check we had everything we needed. The barn itself is beautiful and situated well for exploring the Vale of Glamorgan, as well as being equipped with every convenience. The grounds feel secure and are very peaceful, we had fabulous weather and made the most of sitting in the garden. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The Gallops is the ideal place if you need space and quiet. The property itself is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Our dogs loved the enormous, secure lawn.

Our stay at the Gallops was fantastic. Host Jane was so friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The cottage itself was Wow,Wow,Wow. Large and the garden was amazing. The horses galloping around excited my 3 year old beyond words. All I can say is we will definitely be back. Xxx

Beautiful , peaceful location and well positioned for different adventures

The house was a lovely set up and had a very homely feel. Was such a treat to see so many beautiful horses in the field. Jane was very friendly and helpful on our arrival and departure.

Beautiful

Stayed 2 weeks in this property and it was amazing. Beautiful property and scenery, Jane who was the host was very accommodating to our needs and nothing was too much trouble - beautiful sun rises and sun sets from the balcony’s outside the bedrooms - highly recommend this property!!

Clean, modern open plan family home

We loved it here! A huge garden with amazing views which the dogs enjoyed charging around. Comfy, well equipped accommodation. Peaceful surroundings. Will definitely come back again !

A perfect property in the Vale of Glamorgan

The property was beautiful with everything provided. The owner Jane had also left some basic groceries for us to make our stay easier. The views are lovely and there are lots of places to visit locally as well as being so close to Cardiff.

Beautiful Holiday Accommodation

Loved spending time with our family at "The Gallops", so much was provided we didn't need any thing more. We had a warm welcome of home-baked Welsh cakes and bread, milk etc.... (so thoughtful) a real home from home, the children loved the huge outdoors space and their dog too. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable....we definitely recommend this fantastic place you won't be disappointed!!!

The Gallops

Great location for a relaxing holiday for all ages. The cottage has been tastefully converted to a high standard, with a very homely feel. Jane was a great host very easy to communicate with at all times. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Holiday August 2018

Loved our stay in this beautifully restored barn. Jane has taken great care to make holidays here a joy. Lovely Welsh cake on arrival and Jane popped in to welcome us to the property. It is great for dogs, they could run in their own field, whilst we sat and enjoyed a coffee on the patio. It really is a home from home and a little piece of heaven on earth. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again. Thank you Jane for a wonderfully relaxing break.

Wonder Wales get away

Walking into this cottage and viewing the property brought tears to our eyes. Six tired American Travelers were overjoyed by the accommodations, the location, and our host. Whenever you book anything on line there is always a little doubt in the back of your mind, that vanished instantly. The cottage was remodeled beautifully. Everywhere you looked you could see a labor of love. Every room was welcoming and comfortable and then you walk out into the back and are awestruck by the beauty of the view. Jane the host and owner thought of everything you could need and even left us a welcome basket of essentials including freshly baked Welsh cakes a local favorite, which we really enjoyed. She went out of her way to ensure the safety of my adult children when they went out for the evening, caring for them as a parent would. We spent three night wishing it was longer and planning a return for a longer period.

Great stay

Everything about our break was great. Fab, quick communication with Jane prior to stay. Check in process easy and Jane very kindly allowed us to leave cars at the cottage before official check in time. Beautiful cottage with everything needed. Location was just excellent too. Wonderful countryside but a quick drive in to CardIff itself. Thanks Jane!

Beautiful Location

We loved the location of the little barn. The drive through the narrow hedge lined roads really added to the experience. The house itself was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room and well equipped. The little welsh cakes that were left for us were delicious and very much appreciated. Jane was a wonderful host who responded quickly to any messages and was very accommodating.
