Situé dans un quartier historique sur la pente au-dessus du centre-ville de San Diego, cette belle Queen Ann Victorian peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Cette unité est totalement privée avec une entrée séparée, espace de vie, 2 chambres à coucher, salle de bains, salon et cuisine complète. Aucune dépense n'a été épargnée dans la conception de cette unité hautement améliorée qui offre des vues sur l'océan, le pont de Coronado et les îles au large de la côte depuis le porche de la propriété. Aucune dépense n'a été épargnée dans la mise en page et la conception de cette unité qui est classique moderne. Le salon dispose d'un canapé-lit en cuir pleine grande taille, d'une grande TV LED intelligente, d'une table à manger et de chaises et d'un ventilateur de plafond. La cuisine est magnifiquement améliorée avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour cuisiner vos propres repas pendant votre séjour chez nous. La salle de bain est toute neuve, séparée des chambres et équipée de nombreuses serviettes en peluche, shampooing, revitalisant, lavage corporel et un sèche-cheveux. Il y a des lits queen dans chacune des 2 chambres séparées. Les deux lits Queen ont des matelas à mousse à mémoire qui sont très confortables. Chaque chambre dispose également d'un ventilateur de plafond, d'un climatiseur mural et d'une télévision à LED haute définition avec accès par câble et capacité de diffusion. Les 3 télévisions ont un accès Netflix qui est fourni gratuitement à nos clients. Notre propriété est située à 5 minutes en voiture du centre des congrès, du district de Gas Lamp, du Ball Park, de l'île de Coronado, de l'aéroport, du parc Balboa et du zoo. L'accès à l'autoroute est situé au coin de la rue et l'arrêt de bus transite vers et depuis le centre-ville se trouve à un pâté de maisons. Toutes les plages locales sont facilement accessibles en voiture depuis la propriété. Certains des endroits les plus populaires de Golden Hill tels que Turf Club, Panchitas Bakery, Krakatoa Coffee Shop, Luigi's Pizza et Golden Hill Park sont facilement accessibles à pied. Perfect little place in perfect location!

This unit was immaculate! Furnishings were well cared for and comfortable. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud! It was perfect for our group and the location was central to everything in San Diego! Oh I forgot to mention, the views off the front porch were breathtaking! I highly recommend this property!

Great get away that felt like home

We had a lovely stay in Unit 3 and felt very at home at thisr rental. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that came up was the bathroom linens seemed to be brand new and once used left brown EVERYWHERE! Other than that our stay was great and the perfect landing pad for our adventure in beautiful San Diego

Our Guests were kind enough to notify us that the new towels we provided seemed to leave brown particles everywhere. We purchase all of our towels from Target and this is the first we have heard of this phenomenon occurring. As the quality of linens and towels we provide our Guests is very high, this was certainly an unpleasant surprise.

Just wanted to offer that we have owned this property for nearly 25 years and have never experienced a crime related issue. Prices in this area are now extremely expensive based on its proximity to Downtown San Diego and its excellent livability. Our young children have been at our property countless times over the years and we have never felt unsafe in any way at any time. Please refer to our many reviews in which our Guests convey their positive experiences at our property.

Beautiful unit !

The unit was very nice. Plenty of room for us and our 4 kids. We were out and about most of the days, so we were really only in the unit for bedtime. Beds were comfortable, rooms were very clean and very well kept. Our only downside were that there were no ceiling fans. The AC kept it plenty cool, we are just used to have a fan going all the time. We were very close to most everything we had planned to do. Walked to several places both day and night with no issues, felt very safe. Parking was a bit tricky, we had to park a block away a few times, but usually we could find a spot close to the house. We would definitely stay here again. The owners checked in on us and were very quick to respond to any questions/issues we had.

A little help

everything was pretty close. I felt safe inside of the house, but would not walk around neighborhood. Houses on the same side of the street we’re pretty run down a lot of garbage everywhere along sidewalks. beer cans left right on the sidewalk in front of the house. Gate to the yard does not lock open to anyone to walk in. Several homeless people walking around sidewalks and not too far away were homeless encampment on the sidewalks and streets. Parking was terrible. Had to park up and around the block in the evenings, was not fun to walk back to the house. Inside the house was fine. Beds were comfortable, carpeting is very stained. We looked past these things and had a great time out in San Diego.

As the vast majority or our reviews are extremely positive, there is rarely a need to interject our thoughts, but in this case we feel it is warranted. Our property is located in an historic district on the slope above a major metropolitan area. Like most large cities, San Diego has its share of homeless individuals though it is fairly rare for them to venture that far from the city center. Our young children have been at our property countless times over our 30 years of ownership and we have never felt unsafe in any way. We have our rugs professionally steam cleaned on a regular basis and also have a quality portable machine that is used when time is short between Guests. At times our "No Shoes" policy is not honored so we always react quickly when notified by our staff. There was city street work being performed the last couple of weeks that limited the amount of street parking. We encourage you to read through our many reviews left by countless Guests who have provided a very different account of their stays with us.

SD Vacay

We arrived to SD and after a hiccup on how to enter the home we finally did. We were tired of traveling and were happy to arrive to a clean home. The house is located in a charming neighborhood on a hill street that gives great views. The house is located within walking distance of a few restaurants but because it was 6pm and parking was limited ( we didn't want to lose our parking spot) we decided to walk up the block to the nearest Mexican taco place across the street. The food was basic I would not recommend. On our way back the sunset was hitting and we wanted to take that in but were suddenly interrupted by a homeless fight at the liquor store across the street. We felt unsafe at that moment and headed to the house. The next day we saw there was a big homeless population in the area. Of course this is not the owners fault as they can not control this. It did not affect our plans as we enjoyed our vacation and stay I just wanted to bring it up as it was our experience at that time. We are looking forward to staying here again as we feel we needed more than a week to enjoy San Diego.

Not sure why this Guest came to the conclusion that there is a large homeless population in the area as that in not even remotely the case. We have owned this property for nearly 30 years and have had very few issues with homeless people. While the property is located on a hill above a major metropolitan city, issues like this are rare.

Perfect location!

This property was great. It was within 15 min of Coronado island, the beaches, the zoo, the gardens and most importantly a Walmart! Hahaha. (Vacationing with Kids) . On the same block there was a convince store and restaurants which was nice. Parking was never too far. The only thing I wasn’t aware of was that the house was divided into units and I usually worry about noise having 4 kids. Overall it was a great stay.

The place was pretty clean and complete with almost all you need for a few days to stay. Owner was really nice and communicative with us, the neighborhood has very pretty houses and it's located close to good stores. I recommend this place! :)

Awesome place and location

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit with the sofa bed in the livingroom the property was well maintained. Easy communications with owner, will even give you great tips for sightseeing. Owner does good job at explaining everything especially how park on the hills. Being from houston were it's all flat lands i found this very helpful. No issues with any neighbors inside the unit or the neighborhood neighbors. Everyone was friendly. Ac in the bedrooms worked perfectly and if you opened the windows the livingroom cooled off good. Close to everything. Many restaurants within walking distant. Recommend adalbertos, antojitos colombianos restaurant and el salvadoreno. I will admit i have a hard time parallel parking but i parked on island st. Where there was always parking and it isn't as busy as 25th. There is also a 99 cent store on island st. Great unit

The place was clean and ready to go when we got there. The neighborhood is a little ruff but not too bad, parking was alright and get off and on the freeway was easy. Would I stay there again yes. The Manager was great and gave us some ideas on what to do and places to eat.

Great location and very clean!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely keep it as a top option the next time we visit San Diego. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The only slight issue was finding parking sometimes, but that wasn’t a huge issue.

Great location, comfortable home.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here over the holidays. The location was perfect for easy access to both downtown and family south of the city. The area was cute, with great coffee shops and lunch options within a mile. The house was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this location and would stay here again.

First thing you will notice is how responsive John is. He is a great host who will quickly reply, and very anxious to make your stay perfect. The unit is perfect. It had a nice efficient layout. I was amazed at how stocked the kitchen was. This was importent to me as cooked all our meals. For the first time, I remembered to bring my own Tupperwares and plastic wrap. He had some there. I remembered seasonings, he had some there. My family of six did not have to constantly shuffle dishes and silverware to have enough. There was plenty there. I as worried that with six of plus needing showers after a day at the beach, we would run out of hot water. Not even close. I was worried about finding a place to park on the street. We were always able to park close by. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Gas lamp district, near everything in downtown and easy access to and from freeway. It was a little small for its maximum capacity of 6 adults but the location was great and the house was clean, couple stains in the bedroom carpets but the landlord was aware and really nice. I would definitely stay here again

Recent Guest dropped some sort of chemical on brand new bedroom rug. We are currently working to schedule replacement between current Guests which requires removal of carpet, bed, furniture etc.

I grew up in Northampton Massachusetts, a town with countless beautiful old homes and lots of woods. I spent countless days in my youth building tree forts never knowing that those 2 dynamics would intersect at this point. Upon arriving in San Diego with an interest in building and purchasing real estate, I became immediately interested in the largely neglected Victorian buildings in this area of town. This property became a labor of love for me many years ago and I hope that legacy will be carried forward by my 3 sons. My wife is Japanese, so our family often divides our time between 2 very different worlds, both with much to offer.
