The location is excellent for us especially the patio for sundowners.

Our third stay a Mousehole View, the location, views & access to a garage are really appreciated. We find The location ideal as a centre for walking to Newlyn & Penzance. The bus service is good for the return.

Wonderful stay

We stayed for a week in August and fell in love with Mousehole.The little house is very neat,well kept, clean and with the kitchen and living room upstairs you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea. There’s every applaince available you might need for cooking You definitely get your money‘s worth and the proximity to the little center of the town is great. Parking is an issue everywhere in Mousehole, and if you can avoid it, don‘t take your car through the center next to the harbour,as the streets are extremely narrow. That‘s also an advantage of this location: you can avoid that hassle and if you‘re lucky, you find a place to park round the corner without two double yellow lines (where parking is not allowed). The garage is so extremely small that I doubt anything but an Isetta will fit in. A normal sized car for 4 peaple will not. If you can book it, do it. We would come back any time.

Great house in a great location

Ideally located in Mousehole, just a few minutes walk to the town centre with all of its incredible restaurants, but on the edge so no need to navigate the narrow twisty roads in town! The house itself was much bigger than the photos suggested, and very comfortable. It was particularly nice having the outside space, and the views were lovely from upstairs.

Well equipped and comfortable

We have stayed in Mousehole View before and love it. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. It’s very handy to have the extra loo. There is much more space than in many of the quaint cottages in Mousehole. There were many lovely touches like the fresh daffodils on the table and scones for our arrival plus salt, pepper, oil etc in the cupboard

Lovely break

We arrived half an hour early but the property was ready. We had a couple of problems which were sorted out within a couple of hours. Lovely airey property with relaxing views. Balcony off the kitchen was nice and relaxing with a coffee/glass of wine. Would recommend. Amenities not far away either!

On arrival which is easy following the What 3Words app, we were initially very impressed with the property . Then we found a very small TV in the lounge, no kitchen roll or tin foil in the kitchen , the hot water takes 4 minutes to get to the sink.The double glazing has failed with condensation between the panes of glass. There is mention of a damp issue down stairs in the bedrooms and bathroom in the welcome book (which is being investigated). Even with the heating on there's a strong smell of damp as you walk in and a lot of woodlice moving around the rooms.The bathroom is fine apart from the sink plug which doesn't pop up.We stayed here for two weeks, it's in a great location with views over the harbour, managed to get the car in the garage. If they get the damp and TV sorted it would be great place.

Positiv: sehr nette Wikommensgeschenke (Scones, Clotted Cream, Milch, Toast, Butter, Tee etc. ), gute Austattung der Küche, gemütlicher Wohnraum mit sehr schönem Ausblick, Garage (für viele PKW zu klein), netter Garten, zwei separate WC, eines mit Dusche. Ein sehr schöner, offener Außenbereich mit Weitblick auf Dorf und Meer. NEGATIV: anfängliche Probleme waren nicht lösbar, da unsere ausgewiesene Kontaktperson für mehrere Tage nicht erreichbar gewesen ist und sich letztendlich mit dem Hinweis gemeldet hat, dass sie in Südafrika gewesen sei und dort keinen(???) Empfang gehabt hat. Angeblich Besitzerin der Fewo informiert und diese hat angeblich die Agentur nicht informiert, die ihrerseits ebenfalls nicht erreichbar gewesen ist. Das Doppelbett im kleinen Schlafraum ist meine Begriffe zu weich, diese Meinung teilt meine Frau nicht. Das Haus ist extrem hellhörig, die praktischen Schiebetüren zu den Schlafräumen störend laut, was die Hellhörigkeit unterstreicht. Insgesamt würden wir dennoch wieder diese Unterkunft wählen, da sie viele Vorteile hat.

Tolle Aussicht

Das Haus ist geräumig und eigentlich schön eingerichtet, aber leider zum Teil nicht sauber (Sofas und Teppiche) und renovierungsbedürftig. Die Fotos entsprechen nicht dem jetzigen Zustand. Die Lage in Mousehole und die Aussicht sind wirklich toll.
