Cette ancienne maison de l'entraßneur se trouve à l'extrémité du jardin de la maison dans une terrasse classé Grade II, qui a servi dans le 19e siÚcle. Il a été récemment rénové à haut niveau et de rÚglement actuel bùtiment. Il a son propre Sud face granit privée jardin clos adjacent à la vieille maison de l'entraßneur de la propriété suivante. Les perspectives et l'environnement est trÚs privé mais il est à seulement 5 minutes à pied des commerces dans le centre de la ville. L'approche de la route principale est par l'intermédiaire du miaule cul-de-sac qui permet pour la voiture dépose devant la porte. Un parking gratuit est dans les rues adjacentes. La maison dispose d'un chauffage central géré par une pompe à chaleur air-air pour l'économie de l'énergie verte.

Suzanna was very welcoming and had a brilliant stay the house had everything you needed the amenities were outstanding the house was clean and very homely there was 4 adults and a baby the house is spacious we had friends visit and plenty of room to eat around the table highly recommended we had a wonderful stay will definitely book again ideal place for a family of 4/5 The house is in a ideal location town centre few minutes walk beach front 10 minutes walk

Everything as advertised and owner was very helpful and flexible with our questions. Great location 5 mins walk from Penzance town and 10 mins from beach front. Very clean and more spacious than expected for 4 adults and a dog. Excellent price too.

Positiv: - Freundliche Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin.- Problemlose komplikationslose SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe.- Top Lage zum Stadt-/ Einkaufszentrum- Alle notwendigen GebrauchsgegenstĂ€nde (Töpfe/ Geschirr/ SpĂŒlmaschine/ etc.) vorhanden. Insgesamt eher mehr als in vielen anderen Ferienwohnungen- Sehr schöner Garten, allerdings kleiner als wir aufgrund der Bilder vermutet hattenNegativ: - Parkplatzsituation! Die Wohnung hat keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Dies wurde aber auch schon vorab von der Gastgeberin so kommuniziert. Freies Parken in der NĂ€he ist möglich alledrings mit lĂ€ngerer Suche verbunden.- Zugang zur Wohnung. Der Zugang zur Wohnung ist nur durch eine enge Sackgasse zu erreichen, die komplett mit Autos und MĂŒlleimern der Anwohnung verstopft ist. Wir mussten um mit unseren FahrrĂ€dern die Wohnung zu verlassen erst einmal sĂ€mtliche MĂŒlltonnen aus dem Weg rĂ€umen. - Sauberkeit. Die Wohnzimmer roch extrem nach Hund, wir haben uns Duftkerzen besorgt um den Geruch etwas zu ĂŒberspielen. Insgesamt wirkte die Wohnung und Einrichtung eher verlebt.- Gegend. Die Gegend um die Wohnung herum wirkt nicht sehr vertrauenserweckendUnser Fazid: Eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die bemĂŒht ist den GĂ€sten einen unkomplizierten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Wir fanden aber die Wohnung eher ungemĂŒtlich und kalt und aufgrund des penetranten Geruchs nach Hund und der Parkplatz- und Zugangssituation wĂŒrden wir die Wohnung nicht noch einmal buchen.

Very comfortable and convenient property - we were here for a birthday week and it had everything we needed. So cozy in the rain and a great base to explore gorgeous Penzance and all of Western Cornwall. Suzie was lovely and helpful - don’t hesitate to book!

Great location stone cottage

Light and airy cottage, walking distance to Penzance and the harbour. Perfect for our family of 5 plus dogs. Cute garden with sun and shade to enjoy after a day out. Susie was really helpful and friendly, there to meet us when we arrived despite the lateness. House was spotlessly clean and the double bed was super comfy.

A short tempered landlady who is definitely not a dog lover, she accepts dogs because it's more acceptable !!She believes nothing is fault of her doing and the fact that she lives next door means she can check in on you, and she does !!The only thing that hampered our stay was the busy body landlady, she even called me after we had left to ask why a light fitting had fell down ? I suggested it was lack of maintenance. A lovely place, penzance, minack theater is worth a trip , and the beach is fantastic, shame about the locals would not go back !!

The house is in a great location: walking distance to shops and trails. Used the bus for day trips to visit other communities. Rented a bike to visit Mt Michael.

Nice house with garden close to Penzance centre

The house was good value, with 3 bedrooms and a nice bathroom upstairs, and downstairs a good sized living room and separate well-equipped kitchen plus cloakroom. There is an attractive garden to the rear. The front door opens straight onto the street which is narrow and a bit constricted by parked cars. I can image accessing with a pushchair or wheelchair might be challenging at times. There is no parking space but no problem finding available free parking spaces within 50 metres from the front door. It is a 5-minute walk from the top of Market Jew street, with a nice Wetherspoons. Plenty of other nice shops, cafes and pubs also close by. Would happily stay there again.

Lovely stay

Our host met us on arrival to show us round the property. The location is great, about 15 minutes walk (uphill) from the station, and it is very well equipped with a bonus of a small garden. We had a terrific stay. Highly recommended host and property.

We had a fab time at Susanna's place. In a quiet street yet not far from the action with all the shops, pubs and restaurants close. Susanna was a great host and the place was very clean with everything we needed. And some friendly local cats

Nice quiet location good host, information was useful clean and tidy property good hot easy to use shower really comfortable beds only ten minute stroll from the main shopping area, parking is on street but didn’t have to much trouble finding a space so didn’t have to pay for car parks , lots of little extras in the kitchen cupboards if wanting to do any home cooking.

Prima plek

We hadden een goed verblijf. Wat we waardeerden was de plek en de tuin. De keuken had alle apparatuur die je je kon wensen en het functioneerde allemaal. De slaapkamers waren ruim en de douche was voortreffelijk. De buurt is rustig. Susanna was erg vriendelijk. Minpunten waren: de mufheid van de woonkamer (het ruikt enorm naar natte honden), het oncomfortabele bed in de twin room (te kort, te smal en met omdraaien kiept het bijna om) en het lawaai van de heater die 's nachts aanslaat en pas na een uur of twee weer stopt.

Perfect house for our family.

Just loved everything about this home. Great location close to shopping and beach. It had everything we needed and host was super responsive. Will definitely stay again if/when I return to Penzance.

Could be better

Good things: The Kitchen was well equipped with a good sized fridge and the shower worked well. Pretty garden. Lots of info on where to eat, etc. We were able to leave our bags to collect later on check out day. We were met by the property owner on arrival. This had to be prearranged as there was no key box however it wasn’t an issue. In entering the house there was an overwhelming stench of dog. The sitting room reeked so much we ended up shutting the door to it to try to contain the smell. Fortunately we weren’t going to be spending much time at the property as we were in the area for work but if we were planning to I honestly don’t think we could have spent any time in that room. It didn’t matter to us but the TV in the sitting room was incredibly small, so anyone wanting to watch it wouldn’t have found it a pleasant experience. The carpets were very thin, especially on the stairs, making it noisy when ever anyone used them. Parking was a complete nightmare. You have to reverse down the drive to drop things off but you can’t park outside as you’d be forever moving your car to let others out. There is parking on the street across the road if you are lucky ( we rarely were) but much safer is a long stay car park 5 mins walk away which is free after 4pm until 9am which we weren’t informed about. The property has potential but needs a thorough deep clean. (We are both dog owners by the way), new carpets and a more friendly welcome from the owner wouldn’t go amiss.

Schöne Zeit in Cornwall

Unser Aufenthalt in Penzance war einfach fantastisch! Die Unterkunft war hervorragend – zentral gelegen, sodass wir alles bequem zu Fuß erreichen konnten. Die Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel, was unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm machte. Unsere Gastgeberin Susanna war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wĂ€rmstens weiterempfehlen.

Property was as described and lovely to have the garden. Very convenient location for us to walk to town, along promenade and beach to Newlyn and buses to st .Ives etc. Best of all was Coastliner sitting outside and free with our bus passes. Only used car to get to a magical evening at The Minack theatre.

The house is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town, but is very private in its mews situation. As it was originally part of a larger historic property listed Grade II, the gardens to the South are very private. So one is in a quiet secluded environment whilst being in the centre of the town.
