Excellent accommodations, amazing views

Everything was wonderful, Paula was a gracious hostess. As this was early spring she should have told us how to turn up the heat in the unit and how get the hot water to work in the bathroom sink the shower worked fine but not for the sink. Other than that everything was great. George

Thank you for your comments. I know you have enjoyed my apartment, that has been renovated this year and it's fantastic views. I'm very glad to know it as my goal is to offer my guests a great holiday. About the heat, upon the check-in I informed you how the air conditioning worked. In Portugal we use it both to heat and to cool. Now it's programmed to heat. It's a question of turning it on. Maybe you didn't realize that. The hot water should come both to the sink and to the shower as they are side by side and they come from the same boiler.Next time please let me know and I'll go there and explain it to you. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your wife in the near future. Regards Paula

Excellent Apartment Excellent location

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely apartment with fantastic views from our balcony. The location is also excellent with just a short 2 min walk up hill to the centre of Alvor. Thanks also goes to Paula who made herself available should we have needed anything during our stay and made us feel very welcome on arrival.

Beautiful relaxing Alvor

I honestly can't find fault with this one bedroom first floor apartment. Paula was lovely and very helpful. Place was spotlessly clean. Very quiet and lovely dark bedroom at night. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of space. Sunbeds numbered at pool so you could go down whenever you wanted. Amazing views from balcony. Second bathroom was great. WiFi and a good selection of tv channels meant we could catch an English film and news no problem. A short walk took me to the local market every morning to get fresh bread and fruit. You swiped in and out of a security gate. Grounds lovely. Alvor beach, nature reserve and village where beautiful. I will be back.

Large,clean,fantastic views and perfect location!

Paula and her son met us upon arrival,we were taken into a large, bright apartment with fantastic views over the sea and harbour. It was very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable holiday, having 2 bathrooms was a bonus and the pillows on the bed are the comfiest I’ve slept on,Paula was a delight to deal with from the deposit being paid in the UK,explanation of using the appliances in the apartment to the damage refund after we returned home. I spent my 40th birthday here and I’m so glad I didn’t stay anywhere else. Looking forward to future stays and Thankyou for your hospitality ❤️

Outstanding Apartment in Everyway

We have stayed at this apartment twice now and will definitely be going again! Paula the owner is extremely helpful and the booking, communication and check in & out was very quick and straightforward. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need for a holiday stay. It probably has the best view in the complex over the pool and then harbour of Alvor. The pool area has designated numbered sun loungers with cushions in the apartment and the pool itself is extremely clean. Paula has made this whole transaction very easy and you can book knowing that she is 100% genuine and honest. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, well equipped apartment near the centre of Alvor and the beach.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write these comments. I’m really pleased to know that you have enjoyed your stay at my apartment once more and that you appreciate the effort I make to make sure that my guests have all the comfort and conditions for a wonderful holiday. That’s why the apartment has been improved last year with new air conditioning as well as wifi. Cleanliness is also an essential point for me. I try to provide the best service possible so that my guests feel at home while they’re here, which along with the fantastic location and great views the apartment has, are in my opinion the reasons why the guests come back year after year. I’m looking forward to welcoming you again at my apartment in the near future. Kind Regards Paula Vidal

More than happy to reccomend

We returned to Alvor for our third time and this time wanted to stay closer to the amenities and harbour. We couldn't have chosen better. Clube Alvor Ria is situated a short stroll from the beach to the left out of the gate, quayside restaurants and bars across the road and turn right out of the gate to discover many shops, bars and restaurants, the Caravella restaurant a short stroll up the hill in particular served excellent food but is popular so booking a table is advisable. Back in the apartment there is a fully fitted modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, full oven and hob and large fridge/freezer aswell as coffee machine and toaster. All glasses, cups, plates dishes pots/pans and cutlery and utensils are provided and are in excellent condition. (no iron though so we would recommend taking a travel iron), the bathroom is fully equiped with shower over bath, vanity unit, with sink, toilet and bidet and is extremely clean. The large twin bedroom has full wardrobe with drawers and a safe (key cost us 10 euros) and there is a large set of drawers under a large mirror. The living/dining area is well equiped with dining table and 4 chairs, settee which can be made into a bed with another pull out bed underneath, two armchairs, a side board, coffee table and tv. There are two air conditioning units, one in the bedroom, the other in the living area and are operated independantly via remote control. Outside there is a balcony with table and three chairs and two sun loungers with cushions. The apartment is extremely clean and all linen and towels are provided. There are security shutters to all windows and on the balcony's sliding doors. Down by the tidy and clean communal gardens and pool area are two dedicated sun loungers for use and a parasol is in the apartment for use on the balcony or down by the pool. There is a lift to all three floors and a remote control access gate for added security. The personal greeting and tour of the apartment by Paula Vidal as well as great communication throughout the booking process made this holiday process a breeze. A car is not necessary as you have everything within walking distance but the Algarve has some wonderful places to visit and is well worth exploring. We would not hesitate in reccomending Club Alvor Ria 445880 for an excellant holiday stay - we'll definitely be back, Thanks Paula

Immaculate Apartment - Beautiful Alvor

This was our first visit to Alvor. We finally decided on Alvor & this apartment after looking at so many. We do not think we could have chosen a nicer location & the apartment was all we needed for self catering as we planned to eat out the whole time. On arrival we were met at Clube Alvor Ria by a friend of Paula's, who let us in & showed us around the rooms. Paula then arrived later on arrival day to introduce herself, she was charming & so helpful with information. The apartment was immaculately clean, with ample room for us, all fixtures & fittings looked new. The view from the balcony overlooking the pool ar.ea was lovely, with further views over the river opposite with the boats moored & onto the promenade area. You have your own swipe card for entry & exit for the complex, so it is completely safe from outside parties The weather was fabulous during our 10 day stay, every day 30c or thereabouts. The eating out experience couldn't be bettered, with about 40 places to choose from, all within several minutes walk from the apartment .Alvor is a lovely safe area for couples & families with not a hint of rowdiness or anybody the worse for drink We will certainly return again next year if possible.

We'll be back

We stayed in Apartment 205 at Clube Alvor Ria in August 2010. The apartment is airy and spacious, and very clean. It is well maintained and appointed with up to date equipment. The complex is quiet and ideal for families. Alvor is a lovely place with great restaurants. We particularly recommend Vagabonds and Raccula. We will be coming back in 2011

Really enjoyed our stay in Alvor

Having been to Alvor about 4 years ago we felt that although it was a really a lovely place it was probably too quiet for my husband and I at the time, and we had also chosen an apartment that was a good 20 minutes walk from the centre of the village. We said to each other at the time that if we ever had children though this would be a great place to come back to - and next time we would stay closer. So four years down the track we returned with our son and this time we stayed at the Clube Alvor Ria. It was a fabulous choice - very central (which was great with our son - no long treks), yet still quite quiet. Only 5 -10 minutes to the beach and 30 seconds to the village centre! The complex is very secure, nicely lanscaped, well maintained and friendly. The Owner was very easy to deal with, the apartment large, air conditioned and had shutters to the terrace doors - which helped our young chap sleep well. All good. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment. The only negative was that it wasn't really decorated to our taste but this is very minor compared to all the great positives. It took two visits to find this place and it was worth it.

Clube Alvor Ria Summer 2010

What a really good holiday apartment. Clean and decently furnished with necessary equipment. Fine for 2 persons. For 4 would need pull down settee in living room area. Perfect location on river front prom and very short stroll from Alvor's hilltop centre with its restaurants/cafes/bars. Wonderful beaches, again with cafes and exciting dining just a few minutes walk away too. The apartment buildings have a secure entrance and ample parking. Good pool area and well kept gardens. Ideal for young or old. Car hire not essential as all amenities close at hand. Alvor is a very friendly little town, our 4th. visit over and cannot wait until 5th. ! All this and wonderful climate too.!

My name is Paula. I live in Portimão, where I teach. When I was a child I used to play near the place where Clube Alvor Ria stands today. I used to go to Alvor beach on my holidays and I loved to walk from the village to the beach and I've always passed by this beautiful place. Alvor was always my beach. I've lived in Lisbon for a long time, but when I came back to the Algarve I saw that these apartments were starting their construction and we knew that this was the place where we wanted to buy an apartment. This locaton is in deed unique and an unbeatable location. The apartment has astonsihing views. I'm very pleased that we've bought an apartment in this fantastic place.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

These are modern apartments, very well equipped, with a great location inside the condominium, fabulous views over the river and the complex's swimming pool.
The apartments are spacious, have a modern furniture, benefit from a balcony with views and are perfect for for a great holiday.

The one bedroom apartment is funished in a modern way with very bright colors. It offers a fantastic view and has great sun exposure all over the year.
The apartment's location inside the condominium is great and the condominum's location is superb.
The two bedroom apartment has a more classic and up to scale decoration. It was recently refurbished. It is a very large apartment with a central location in the condominium, just opposite to Alvor's river and for that reason it enjoys a delightful view over the river. The balcony is quite spacious and it benefits from the afternoon and evening sun.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Best location in Alvor, absolutely fabulous views from the apartments, near the beach (only 5 minutes walk), in front of the beautiful Alvor's harbour and 50 metres away from the village centre.
Beautiful, modern, up scale apartments, very spacious, comfortable with a great equipment, offering air conditioning.
Well maintained gardens and condominium. Secure parking. Private condominium with access through a card for pedestrians and a remote control for the cars.
