Set on elevated grounds Margherita Villa enjoy superb panoramic views of Mellieha Bay and Santa Maria Estate valley. The property comprises of 3 spacious and recently decorated villa apartments, which share a good size swimming pool complimented with sun deck area together with umbrellas and sun loungers and a delightful BBQ area where shower and toilet facilities are available.
The villa is equipped with free wifi, a communal washing machine, safety deposit boxes in all the 3 units, cable tv`s and fully airconditioned for total comfort.This facility is optional and is pay as you use by a pay per use meter operated with 1 or 2 euro coins.
Set on 2 floors, the groundfloor unit with 2 bedrooms is close by the pool and on the first floor one finds the 2 units with 3 bedrooms each that share a delightful covered large and spacious terrace.These 2 units also interconnect and thus one can enjoy the comfort of having one large space.
Private parking for 3 cars is also available on the villa driveway and is free of charge.

Great place!

We loved our stay at Margherita Villas. The host, Margaret, is fantastic, attentive and easily contactable. The apartments are located in a quiet part of Mellieha, with easy walking access to restaurants and supermarkets - so for food, all bases are easily covered. As a family of 9 we rented all 3 flats. Flats 2 and 3, on the first floor, have an interconnecting door, and share a wonderful, very large balcony where we enjoyed loads of lovely morning sun (at the end of October/start of November). Flat 1 is on the ground floor, and opens out directly onto the pool. Although it wasn't an issue for us, we weren't aware that we had booked 3 separate flats - it may be in the description but we missed it. All of the flats were well stocked with everything you could need. The pool and pool area is great, and just what we needed for the family's four kids (aged between 3 and 9). We thought this Villa was excellent and would definitely recommend it. As people have said before me, the pictures don't do this place justice - it's massive!

des plongeons dans la piscine, les enfants et ados trĂšs contents des jeux Ă  leur disposition. Visites de tous les points importants deMalte ,grace Ă  un rĂ©seau de bus trĂšs efficace et surtout au bout de la rue de notre villa.dĂ©jeuners sur la plage ou Ă  gozo et La Vallette, dĂźners Ă  la villa , oĂč le matĂ©riel des cuisines est impressionnant. Margaret a rĂ©pondu Ă  toutes nos questions et Ă  organisĂ© notre arrivĂ©e et dĂ©part en van. Un sĂ©jour absolument parfait. Nous vous conseillons cette villa.

Perfect stay in Mellieha

The home was very large with 3 separate but connected "apartments" which worked perfectly for our extended family. That allowed us to enjoy time together and also to have quiet spaces for work or relaxation. The property includes several nice outdoor areas for relaxing, and a well kept pool. Everything was clean and neat. It's located a short walk from restaurants and a great supermarket. Easy access by Uber to the Gozo ferry, Medina, and beaches in the area. Our host was very helpful and answered all our pre-stay questions quickly and thoroughly and was quite accommodating during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

So very happy with our stay!

As stated in other reviews, this is a great place for a large friend or family group. We had booked the trip for 11 of us, however only 9 people ended up coming. 8 adults, 1 14 year old, and a 7 and 4 year old. The units are spacious, with a kitchen in each, the one large kitchen is what we used for all of our stay-in meals. Each unit has multiple bedrooms, comfortable (enough) beds and they are surprisingly sound proof. Bathrooms had large shower stalls and we had 1 deep tub. Excellent water heat and pressure! It is a short walk to town for groceries and to other shops and restaurants and the bus stop - but it is uphill a ways, so if anyone in the group is older or has mobility difficulties, take this into consideration. The town is a great launching point for exploring many parts of the island and many of the must-do things in Malta (Popeye's, boat trips to/around Gozo, day trips to Valetta, Mdina, etc). Our host was wonderful and responsive to any questions we had. I/we would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely family holiday

We booked the 3 apartments for a family birthday. There were 13 of us in total and we all had a lovely time. The communication with the owner was very easy and extremely helpful. The apartments were very well maintained and we all loved the swimming pool. The apartments are in an ideal location if you want a quiet stay, but at the same time are only a 5 to 10 minute walk away from a selection of restaurants. The biggest compliment I can pay this place is that none of us wanted to leave, the children were asking to stay for a 2nd week!! Would happily stay here again.

Family & Friends holiday

This accommodation is perfect for 3 families or a group of friends. It is spacious and pleasant with a nice pool. Margaret was there for all our needs nothing was a problem. Location also good for a Villa location. Easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and bus service. No need for a car.

Fantastic holiday apartments

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Malta. We booked all three apartments for a family of 9 which meant everyone had plenty of space and the kids had the pool to themselves, which they loved!! Apartment 3 is the biggest so it became the communal lounge/kitchen diner for us all but having the BBQ and outside seating areas meant there was plenty of other space too. The apartments and pool area are all lovely and so spacious and only a short walk from the supermarkets, bus stops and restaurants. We loved it and would definitely book these again. Thank you to Margaret and her family for a fantastic holiday!!

very nice stay

We rented all three apartments for a little over a week to celebrate a big birthday, and it was perfect. People came and went and it wasn't a problem, we had 16 people at one point and there were enough beds and bathroom space to make it work well. The two apartments on the upper floor connect to make one very large one. The owners live on the property and were very respectful and accommodating, and gave us plenty of space to do our own thing. Mellieha is also a nice place to stay, as it's away from the sprawl around Valletta and still easy to get anywhere in a taxi or rental car without trouble.

A lovely villa in a good location

We stayed as a large family group in the whole villa for a week in February. The villa is very well looked after and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Margaret had provided a few essentials like bread and milk so we didn't need to rush out to the shops straight away. The villa is within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and a couple of bars. There is a decent sized supermarket a 10 minute walk away that has everything you could need. With it being February we didn't get much use out of the pool but it is nice and would be great in summer. The walk down to the sea is a bit longer, but doable, possibly not something you'd want to do every day. There were a couple of minor issues while we were there but they were sorted out very quickly by Margaret with no fuss. I can highly recommend this villa as a great place to stay.

Wonderful villa in Mellieha

The two 3-bedroom apartments (with a connecting door) are a great location for a 6-couple get together. Very well located for the supermarket, public transport and both upper and lower Mellieha (and with bus connections to Bugibba, St Julians and Valletta). Although built some time ago, the apartments are well appointed and spacious with a large wrap-around balcony (though a dishwasher would be a useful addition). Margaret is a very helpful and personable hostess.. We all enjoyed the week immensely. Highly recommended.

Outstanding property

I booked this villa for my 50th birthday, so that I could celebrate with my family. We booked the 3 units, as there were 9 adults and 3 children, for 1 week. We were overwhelmed at how beautiful and well maintained this property is. It’s stunning!!! Each unit is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything you need is there, it’s like home from home. The kids loved the pool, and spent the majority of the time in there. The property is set high on a hill, so the views are breathtaking, and it gets the sun all day! It’s situated very close to shops and pubs, etc, and also close to a main bus route, so you can jump on the bus to go anywhere on the island, which we did. Margaret, the owner, is a very hospitable lady, and her and her husband live on site, so are there for any problems or issues that may arise. They are very helpful and go above and beyond for their guests. I can not recommend this property highly enough, it is simply stunning! I would definitely book and stay here again. Thank you Margaret, for letting us stay and for your outstanding hospitality.

We went to Melleiha just after Easter with both our families. The apartments are very well appointed and Margaret made us very welcome. The children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and we had a lovely time . Thank you Margaret.

Ideally located with great facilities

With a very helpful hostess this is a property we'd be happy to return to. Well appointed, clean and spacious for 3 couples we had good views of the quiet neighbourhood and a partial view of the sea. Within 5 minutes walking were a choice of independent bakers, grocers and good restaurants as well as a new small supermarket. It is sited at the top of a hill and would be a long walk uphill back from the beach but there is a local bus. There was a parking bay per villa with additional on road parking available. If needed there was a useful connecting door to the adjacent villa. It was too cold in March to use the pool but it was clean and had plenty of outdoor seating. Thank you for a lovely break.

Superb Appartment

This place is superb, even better than on the pictures - clean, quiet and on the date we arrived it was all ours. Quiet with beautiful view and a very large terrace. The beds all very comfy with winter bedsheets for warmth and total comfort.Aircondition was the highlight since it was very cosy during our stay in February. An excellent property with everything you need for a self catering holiday and within walking distance of several bars and restaurants.

Magnificent!

' luxury villa' is an understatement for this place. The villa itself was more than what we expected. everything was as listed and then some. Location was perfect for what we wanted, Super market a close walk away which provided everything you could need. Each room had their own En suite, comfy beds, blackout blinds. Kitchens had everything you'd expect to have. Location wise, there was a bar & restaurant just around the corner which sold great British food and showed British TV. If i ever return back to Malta, no doubt i will be staying in this villa again. Margaret the owner is so friendly and kind, she helped us out with everything we needed. The only trouble i had all week was getting hold of a taxi number, I asked margaret, and within 2 minutes she had giuven me mulitple numbers and even offered to book us cabs for the whole week!

Super spot

This villa was just as expected from the listing. It was spacious for six adults, clean and well maintained, inside and out. The owner provided helpful information about restaurants and took care of any needs we had. We enjoyed our pizza at the Graystone restaurant and we loved the Barracuda. I definitely would recommend this villa with its spectacular view.

Wonderful villa

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret's villa. It was really clean and had all the equipment you could imagine.It had a good location. The pool, with a lot of inflatable toys for the children, was definitely a plus. Margaret was a wonderful host and was always available. Thank you for everything.

Spacious inside and also the outside.This villa has seperate entrances to all the 3 units and there is no communal entrance.For entering there is a ramp and so very easy to carry the luggage up one floor if using the upper 2 units.
Private parking free of charge on the grounds exactly on the driveway.
Upper 2 units interconnect and share a large and spacious covered terrace.
Located in a serene location and at the same time very close to the bus stop supermarket, bars and restaurants
Equipped with all the required daily needs one can ever think of
Airconditioned, free wifi and cable TV with the maximum number of tv stations
Decorated to detail to feel comfortable and relaxed.

Owner is close by and so can be reached very easily if any help is needed.
