Une base idéale pour explorer Skye Et Le Cuillin

Nyumbani est un plain-pied Skye chalet traditionnel situé dans sa propre enveloppe autour des jardins donnant sur le magnifique Loch Harport sur la magnifique cÎte ouest de l'ßle de Skye. Nyumbani signifie «notre maison», en swahili, et cela décrit bien ce chalet attrayant, avec son confortable salon / salle à manger avec cheminée, des canapés en cuir profonds, cuisine de taille familiale et de 3 chambres aux dimensions généreuses. Il ya une belle véranda qui offre une seconde zone de salon, avec une grande télévision à écran plat et DVD. Portes ouvrent sur les jardins entiÚrement clos qui entourent la propriété. Draps et serviettes fournis.

The house has wonderful views and is well located near Carbost and most things you would want to see. It is up a long, narrow road, better traveled for the first time during the day, but then most places up there are! The house was warmer than expected, but it could use some new blankets.

We had difficulties locating the property and we were unable to reach the host and her caretaker via the phone numbers that were provided. Fortunately we were able to find the property after running back and forth the road. Once inside the property everything was fine. The property had proper heating and amenities that provided us with a comfortable stay. It was very spacious so we had our own space.

Very comfortable home with lots of room. Great for a base to explore Skye or to just relax. The house was very clean, but a little worn and the kitchen equipment a bit sparse. The Talisker distillery is close by and The Old Inn is definitely worth a visit for a pint and some food.

Lovely little spot on top of the hill near the Talisker Distillery. Property was as described and there were plenty of sheep nearby so you'd often hear a random bleat in the moments of silence. Would return!

We enjoyed our two night stay here! Walking distance to Talisker distillery, close drive to Fairy Pools. We used it as a base to see other sights on Skye - Quaraing, Kilt Rock and Falls, Old Man of Storr and Portree. The cottage was spacious and comfortable for our group of 5. Lovely views from the cottage as well!

The house was very clean and very warm and dry! We did incur lots of rain & listening to it in the sunroom was quite nice. There were no "surprises" about the property which is good. Location was great. We were looking for something rural but not so far off the grid that we couldn't find anything. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

The house was very roomy and comfortable and had all the amenities we could ask for. It had more than enough room for our family of 5 and great views. Would love to have stayed here much longer than 2 nights.

Fabulous position, very spacious, comfortable. Its not luxury but thats clear from the listing and it's very good value compared to other properties for high season Skye. Keith the caretaker was great, helpful. A very lovely and easy stay.

the house was not ready for us untill after 5pm the towels were still in tumble tryer it could do with a new basin for sink in kitchen the taps for the bath tub did not work and with two children we could used it my opinion it lacks a womens touch the man who looks after the property was very nice but you could do better
