This house has charm, it has it's characteristics, and it is cosy. There is a convenience shop, two pubs, a restaurant and a bus stop within a few minutes walk.There is only one parking space on the premises. Other vehicles can be parked across the street although availability is limited. It was not a problem during our stay.There is an outdoors WC outside the kitchen that was not mentioned in the Vrbo details. It also needed a clean.There was a musty smell in the family/dining rooms when we arrived, but it was cleared quickly after opening the windows and patio door. And we found the porch lamp and some pieces of wood on the pathway to the front door.

Excellent cottage in the perfect location

This is a beautiful cottage with such attention to detail. The bathrooms and kitchen have recently been replaced and are beautiful, showers powerful and plenty of hot water. Kitchen really well equipped and living areas / bedrooms really comfortable and homely. Location is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk from the local shop / cafe and pubs.

Lovely village!

Nice cozy cottage - one has to duck a lot to get through doorways and up and down the narrow stairs. A outdoor barbecue would be nice, and cleaning fee is outrageous!

Perfect holiday cottage

We have just returned from a lovely week away at The Ship Inn. The cottage was wonderful and felt very much like home as soon as we arrived. Lots of space for the 7 off us including 4 children age 11-14. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage was very clean. Crantock Beach is within 10 minutes walk, with great parking, beach / food shop and toilets. Lots of options locally to walk and have a meal/drinks- a perfect location. We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful cottage and location. Unfortunately it was grubby inside and outside. Could hardly see out of the windows. The front entrance was dirty, not up to standard.

I am really sorry you said it was not up to standard as everyone else that stayed there this summer loved the property. I wish you had mentioned it in the beginning of your stay as I could have done something about the situation.
