This apartment is a beautiful old original 3rd story apartment right in the middle of old town. Highly recommend! Parking can be difficult especially on weekends so be prepared. Stairs are steep but the 3rd floor is lovely so it’s worth it. Communication with Tiziana was great and her recommendations were awesome! Thank you so much for your hospitality

Tiziana met us at the door. She is a graceful lady and very helpful. The apartment is quaint situated right in old town. Not hard to find although the street name is Ambrogio Machin. Not just Machin. This is in the pedestrian area and no cars can go there. So parking is on the streets and very difficult to find. All of the shops and restaurants are very close in old town and easy to walk to. Even a grocery store. The apartment has everything necessary for a short stay. There are two long stairways up to the apartment on the top floor. Carrying large suitcases is very difficult. The room was very clean and location was excellent for visit visiting old town

PAEDESTRIAN AREA As is typical of historic town centres throughout Italy, the pedestrian areas are closed to cars in order to preserve their beauty and charm. PARKING We understand that, especially for guests arriving from the United States, finding parking can be a little challenging on the first day. Unfortunately, during your stay Alghero was also hosting the Rally, which made parking even more difficult. There are many free parking spaces around the area, which you will get used to , after some days of stay. STAIRS We're sorry that the stairs were tiring, especially with luggage. The apartment is in a historic building, dating centuries, from a time when lifts were not part of the architecture, and there are 25 steps to reach it.As almost all the historic buildings in the old towns. Thank you again for choosing our apartment and for sharing your experience. It was a pleasure having you as our guests!

Tiziana treated my wife and I so kindly during our honeymoon to Sardegna; between accommodating early check in, recommending local favourites, treating us to a bottle of sparkling wine, and gifting my wife a beautiful charm, we felt the abundant warmth and hospitality she has to offer. Will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Alghero!

Magnificent stay in Alghero

A beautiful, clean, welcoming home. Close to all the shops and restaurants in the old town and just a few minutes walk from glorious beaches. We would highly recommend it, and can’t wait to return!

Great location and host! Many steps and bed loft may be difficult for some to navigate, especially in the night to use the WC.

Lovely old town loft apartment in the heart of many restaurants and stores. Free parking in the port was the easiest with just a short walk to the room.

Lovely visit to Alghero

We enjoyed 4 nights in Alghero. The apartment is so convenient being right in the old town. Near shops, great restaurants and the port. Daily excursions to the sights are easy to find. Very comfortable stay for our time there and Tiziana was super helpful and provided great recommendations.

We had a very warm and helpful welcome from Natalia and found the property charming and in an excellent location in the old town. FYI and nothing do with our host or property but parking is a bit of a pain!

As we strive to provide the best client experience possible, especially to travellers coming from so far, we take feedback seriously and please give me any suggestions for upgrading kitchen and bathroom..and write to me. The kitchen has got washing machine, dish washer, microwave, fridge , freezer, ,pots and pans, iron, WIFI, air conditioning..some oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, spices. Wonderful location and host!

We loved the location! You are right in the middle of Old Town Alghero and convenient to absolutely everything you want to see! The restaurants in the area are delicious and right outside your door. You can park in the port, which is about a 3-minute walk to the apartment, for free! Taziana is a wonderful host and very helpful.

Precious place to feel very comfortable!

Stu, Star and Jamie

We spent 11 nights in this lovely authentic Italian apartment. It was in an ideal position in the historical centre of Alghero within walking distance of shops, restaurants ad beaches. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need for a lovely holiday. We also hired a fab Fiat 500 car for 3 days and explored further beaches and wonderful coastline. Thanks for a really relaxing trouble free holiday

Brilliant Apartment

Brilliantly located in historic centre. Easy access to market, shops and amenities. Clean, spacious and high level of decor. Excellent service and communication with owner. A no-problem, totally enjoyable rental that makes our holidays a pleasure. There are several stunning beaches within easy reach - we've returned to this apartment several years running. I recommend it without reservation.

Tiziana was a highly attentive host, who genuinely wanted us to be happy in her wonderful, and historic Apartment. This is a loft apartment with two flights of stairs to the front door, two highly functioning air-conditioning units, one on each level of the apartment. They worked very well despite the heat wave that was hitting Europe and Sardinia.The kitchen is tiny, but functional and even has a dishwasher! Of note, there is no oven in case that is important. There is a small microwave.The apartment came furnished with beach towels, beach, umbrella, and a beach chair, beach mats, and even a couple of snorkeling masks. There were also two sets of bath towels since we were staying there nearly 3 weeks.The location is incredible, smack in the middle of the historic center of the town. We were able to walk in less than one minute to the center open market that has fresh seafood, and festivals and fruit.The loft level has a very comfortable queen sized bed, and a nice desk, though the chair is a standard height chair rather than a desk height, which might make typing on your computer for long periods of time, somewhat tiring on one’s shoulders.The ceiling height were fine for us since I am only 5 foot 10 and my girlfriend shorter. It would be a problem if you were significantly over 6 feet tall.The bathroom had an internal exhaust, but know that the shower is small though highly functional with fantastic hot water.There is a washing machine in the kitchen in a clothesline

Charming Old Town

We enjoyed a full week at the Tiziana’s Emerald apartment. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pictures shown are all accurately portrayed. The bed is quite large by European standard with nice linens and pillows for a cozy night’s sleep. We visited in August, and both air conditioners worked well. Tiziana is a great host and takes much pride in the apartments she offers to guests, which always makes for a more authentic experience when visiting a new place.

We stayed in Tiziana'a apartment for our honeymoon and found it to be a perfect base for exploring Alghero, and the old town in particular. The apartment was spotless and contained everything you could possibly need when self catering. With some very warm days, the air conditioning came in very useful. Lovely Sardinian get-away

This apartment was perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun. It combined all mod cons (DVD, dishwasher, air con etc) with authentic local feel (bare stone walls, wooden beams, cobbled street outside). It's ideally located minutes from the best of the waterfront bars & restaurants, as well as the main bus stop, the tourist information centre and the wonderful fresh market (and supermarket) for supplies. The owner has thought of everything, and even leaves bath towels a beach umbrella with beach mats so you can bring minimal luggage. We recommend you explore the beaches north of Alghero and make the effort to get out to Stintini La Pelosa - the water looks like the Caribbean!! We will definitely be going back.

First visit to Sardegna

We booked a long weekend in Alghero and the apartment was in an excellent location to explore the old town. Just off one of the main streets so great for shops and restaurants yet also quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Everything about the apartment was great: good shower, well equipped kitchen and smooth handover with Palmina despite our lack of Italian! We really appreciated the use of beach mats etc as we went to Stintino and Poglina beaches. The coast road to Bosa from Alghero was a really lovely drive. Will definitely recommend to others - so much nicer than staying in a touristy hotel. Thank you, Tiziana.

excellent holiday in a great apartment

We stayed in Tiziana's apartment in April, after reading the reviews.The apartment is really beautiful, well furnished, clean, well kept. It was easy to get there from the airport (by taxi or bus)The position of the apartment is really great, near the beaches and the gardens. There you can experience the real italian life.No need to have a car:the supermarket and the shops are all around. The apartment is located in a quiet street in the heart center, surrounded by nice restaurants, cafés, nice shops. Tiziana gave us useful information on places to visit and everything,before our departure. We had a wonderful time in Alghero. We recommend this apartment for a fantastic holiday. Thanks Tiziana we will come back

Lovely Holiday in July

My boyfriend and I just spent a brilliant week in Alghero and would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be in the heart of the old town but also close (about a 15 minute walk) to the beach. The apartment has a lovely authentic Italian atmosphere and is very clean and well presented. It’s extremely comfortable and homely with everything you might need plus it was somewhere we were able to spend hours relaxing after being out and about in the baking sunshine. There are lots of great places to eat and drink plus markets and shops just a few minutes away. We were going to hire a car but in the end we felt we didn't need to as the whole place was so nice, though we might next time to see more of the island.... and we needed all the stairs back up to the apartment to help burn off all the ice-creams we had been eating! Tiziana was also really helpful regarding the apartment and Sardinia and we would definitely return.

Great location!

We are a family with 2 children ( 6 and 8 years old) and we are stayed in the apartment during Christmas’ holiday for a week . This was our first time in Alghero, and we found that not only was the house perfect, and Alghero beautiful and historically interesting, but that it was a perfect base to explore all of this area of Sardinia, beaches and historic site are all in reach. the house is lovely for a family or a couple, interesting spacial and functionally. the architectural design is perfect for appreciating the nature of the historic stone construction of the area The furniture is really nice and the kitchen is well equipped, shopping in local stores and market ( fruits and fish) nearby can be done on foot. In a few words, it was definitely a positive experience that we would like to repeat as soon as possible. Relaxing Break

We were first timers in Sardinia and this appartment in old town Alghero was ideal.We were there for Easter week and really enjoyed the processions and sightseeing.Everything in the town is within walking distance,including restaurants,supermarket,town wall strolls and beaches.We did hire a car for 3 days (book well in advance for best prices) to look further afield and we enjoyed the mountains-good for "twitching" and the coast-lots of empty sand!. The appartment was very well-kept,had everything we required and just right for us.I would have reservations tho' about the very young or elderly as there are 2 flights of stairs to climb.It would also have been helpful to have a bit more tourist info' available. For example there is also a bus that goes from the airport to porta terra - 5mins from the door. Overall we had a great break in Sardinia and this was an excellent base for us.Thank You Tiziana and Mrs. Palmina

I would like to underline that all the apartments in the historical center are in ancient restored buildings so you have to climb some stairs to reach them..The intersting thing to stay in the historical center is to visit and stay in places which are ancient, allowing people to breath history.This is the spirit by which people choose the heart historical center of a town, to have a relaxing and at the same time interesting break.
