Luxury 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the River Wye

This impressive cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms with the spacious master bedroom and ensuite located on the ground floor and living area and twin bedroom on the first floor. At the rear of the cottage is an attractive courtyard with an outdoor table and chairs along with a parasol.

A fully functioning kitchen with a dining space, it comes with all the amenities you’ll need for your stay including an electric oven and hob, toaster, fridge freezer, integrated dishwasher, kettle, microwave and high chair as well as a full range of cookware and utensils so guests can enjoy dining in.

The large master bedroom includes a king sized bed, bedside tables, lamps, a wardrobe, dressing table and a mirror as well as a large ensuite bathroom with a toilet, wash basin and shower over bath. The courtyard is accessed through the french doors in the bedroom.

All towels and linen are included as well as a travel cot.

The stairs lead up to the main living space which boasts a stylish interior with views over the picturesque River Wye. The room has a large corner sofa perfect for relaxing as well as an armchair and footstool. There’s a smart TV and fast speed broadband so guests can sign into their own Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts.

The second bedroom can be found on the first floor at the right of the living room. The bedroom has two single beds, perfect for children or adults, a wardrobe and a bean bag. The ensuite is equipped with a toilet, wash basin and walk in shower.
Small children will require supervision on the open staircase.

Well behaved pets are welcome at the cottage for an additional fee of ÂŁ20.00. Please take care to protect the soft furnishings and keep pets off the bed.

A BP garage and Spar is a 5 minute walk away. The cottage in Wilton is an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas.

A wonderful property , clean, modern with all the required facilities you need for a relaxing break - with a river view too. Excellent parking, a short walk from the centre of Ross but only seconds away from a lovely local pub with great food - the White Lion. A special mention for Sue the housekeeper who was so helpful with a minor issue as well as being lovely to chat to and hear more about the local area and the property itself. Thanks to all involved in the booking process and all the communication too , so friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Comfortable retreat in Wye Valley

The property is spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The location is great for walking into town and along the riverfront. We found lots of locals helpful and friendly and the coffee shops were fine. The White Lion pub across the street was especially pleasant and the food good.

Wilton Cottage was a lovely property, with River views. The two bedrooms were huge with super comfy beds and lovely en suite bathrooms and the upstairs lounge well furnished with really comfy sofas.All communication was great and milk was left in the fridge. The location was great, right by a lovely pub and 15 mins walk to Ross on Wye. We enjoyed river walks and cycling to beautiful Symonds Yat. Our suggestions for improvements would be more kitchen equipment as the current equipment is minimal if you want to cook for four. Also some attention needs to be paid to the side passage and patio as these are both so slippery due to slimy mold that has built up over time that they are currently dangerous.

Lovely Cottage overlooking the Wye

Perfect for a 3 day break of walking and canoeing along the River Wye which is right outside the door. Beds were very comfortable, showers hot and powerful and kitchen equipped enough for short stay. A full length mirror would be welcome in the 2nd bedroom. The rooms were of a strange configuration but it didn’t bother us
