Échappez-vous et détendez-vous à notre petite partie de la vie du lac. Notre chalet récemment rénové, parfait pour un plaisir en famille ou une escapade romantique, offre une cour ombragée avec un toboggan, un parcours d'obstacles pour enfants, un foyer et un bain à remous. Nous sommes centralement situés dans un endroit très désiré - un lecteur rapide vers Deep Creek State Park et la zone de restaurant principale, ainsi qu'au sommet de la station de ski Wisp. Le parc d'état de Swallow Falls, avec l'une des plus grandes chutes d'eau de l'état, se trouve juste en bas de la route.

Première étape: Détendez-vous (restez connecté avec Wi-Fi). Nous avons simplifié les choses: la salle de lavage spacieuse offre un banc, des étagères et des racks pour vos skis et snowboards, plus la salle des casques, des chapeaux et des foulards.

Vous trouverez la nouvelle cuisine, ouverte sur le salon lumineux et spacieux qui offre de nombreux sièges en peluche et un canapé-lit, une télévision à écran plat 50 pouces et une table de jeux. Le portique blindé est bien éclairé pour les réunions familiales ou la lecture tranquille.

Mettez-vous à l'aise dans la suite maître romantique, qui offre un lit king, un canopé en dentelle, une literie confortable et une télévision à écran plat. A l'étage, trouver une autre chambre romantique avec un lit queen et une troisième chambre avec lits queen et double, toutes deux avec télévision à écran plat.

Deuxième étape: amusez-vous! Les enfants se divertiront sur le parcours d'obstacles pendant que vous trempez dans le bain à remous, dans un hamac ou jouez à Foosball sur le porche. Juste une courte promenade vers le quai (ou vous pouvez conduire et vous garer plus près. Notre maison est visible et une maison à l'écart de l'entrée du parking à l'entrée du quai). Rassemblez le feu, grillez le barbecue et jouez au cache-cache dans la cour couverte d'arbres ou dans un film.

My husband and I stayed the week of Christmas to New Years day. Clean, cozy home. Centrally located to all the necessary places. The host was amazing answering all my questions in a timely manor and checking in on us. Highly recommend!

Extended holiday weekend trip

Very nice relaxing getaway. We didnt let the blizzard ruin our family time. House was stocked with all kitchen supplies needed for cooking our meals. Hot tub was fantastic we all enjoyed it tremendously. Location is great. We will be going back.

Worth renting and I am a critical traveler

I rent a ton and call each property as I see it .....This place is worth the money ....nothing goes prefect but communications with owner were awesome...house and grounds as described.....but I always have to find something so the stroll thru the woods to the dock is not for the elderly or handicapped...rough... incline... pretty long...if on a summer weekend you will get rocked all day on the dock ..the house makes the place ....try it out .

Deep Creek Oasis

Our stay at dock holiday was absolutely lovely! We had complications with our boat over the weekend and the house and dock was really the highlight of our trip. The house is well equipped with everything you could need for a rental stay. The screened in porch was lovely in the mornings and the fire pit/hottub in the evenings was perfect. Would come back in a heart beat!

Great vacation

We spent a week at dock holiday. We rented a pontoon and kept it at the dock. The house was great! No complaints here. We did lots of boating swimming campfires grilling, and hot tub. Communication with property owner was perfect.

Perfect 4th of July Holiday

Beautiful property with everything you could ask for in a 4th of July get away. Just a short walk to the water, and plenty of space throughout the house. I would highly recommend this property for any summer vacation.

Everything you need

We are repeat customers and I cannot stress enough how accommodating the owners are in every step of the process. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay with all the amenities of home. We will continue to rent from Larry and Colleen for years to come. We have two boys that keep themselves occupied with a good size property, mini-ropes course, ladder golf, and tepee. In addition to the newly renovated house, the rental includes a boat slip where we keep our boat while visiting Deep Creek. If you are interested in a cozy house with everything you need, this is the place for you.

Renovated, feels like home, and a short walk to the lake!

We loved this property! Plenty of space for several adults and kids. We loved the long dining table with space for all of us to eat breakfast together. The house is a 5 minute walking distance to a short trail that leads you to the dock and swimming at the lake. It is a 10-15 minute drive to plenty of places to eat and fun summer activities!

Great House with everything you need

A great house for our family with plenty to do. The house is at the end of the lake within a 5 minute walk to the dock. My kids (6 &9) thoroughly enjoyed the hut tub, ladder golf, and ropes course. My wife liked that everything she would need I a kitchen was there. It was newly renovated and very welcoming. We loved the house came with a dock slip for fishing/swimming and keeping our boat. The owers were very responsive throughout the booking process. I highly recommend this house. We plan on coming back. Thank you for helping make our vacation enjoyable.

Hi there! We’re Colleen and Larry, two D.C. suburbanites who, like many people, found the rolling hills and sweet-smelling pines of western Maryland a draw to escape traffic, humidity and a non-stop “to-do” list. We’d been coming to Deep Creek Lake to camp at the state park when the thought came to us that maybe one day we could grab a little slice of lake life to share with others while investing in the area and in our own future. We took on this fixer upper after watching probably too many episodes of renovation shows with the goal of making it a unique cottage that could be enjoyed for many years to come.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

After searching a few homes for a few months around the lake, we figured it wasn’t meant to be. But then we decided to revisit the house we initially disregarded. Taking another look, we had new ideas about moving things (the kitchen, master bedroom), adding things (master bath, mudroom, parking pad…) and cleaning, repainting and repurposing things (pretty much everything in the house and around the yard).
The house became a cottage, a combination of old and new. The location and lot were ideal for us because you get the buzz of excitement from being at a hot spot near the lake (close to restaurants and action) but you also feel that peaceful calmness from the swaying trees, cool shade and echoes from the boats and people on the water celebrating lake life. We loved that the house was different from others and not too big nor too small. The porch was huge to us—and a great spot for card games, book reading and lots of laughter. The yard called out for a fire pit and because we currently have two little kids, we saw the trees as obstacle course providers as well as holders of a hammock for the adults.

Dock Holiday, on second glance, seemed a perfect fit for us. We hope for you, too!
