Nous sommes des "habitants" de l'île d'Émeraude et sommes heureux d'organiser vos vacances en famille dans notre maison confortable en bord de mer. Que vous recherchiez une escapade romantique, un lieu de rassemblement amusant pour la famille ou une destination de pêche passionnante, Sea Star est l'endroit à ne pas manquer! Ce charmant cottage en bord de mer comporte deux côtés distincts pour les familles individuelles. Vous pouvez également réserver les deux côtés pour les grands groupes!

Chaque côté peut accueillir 9 personnes dans 4 chambres spacieuses et chaque côté a deux salles de bain complètes, une en bas et une en haut. Les cuisines disposent de toutes les commodités. Les meubles pittoresques et les couleurs vives apportent l’essence du littoral à l’intérieur! Chaque côté dispose de 3 grandes télévisions à écran plat avec DirecTV et WiFi.

En plus d'être à deux pas du surf, Sea Star offre des vues d'un million de dollars depuis les deux niveaux de pont. Vous passerez des heures à vous détendre sur les vastes ponts ci-dessous, et certaines chambres à l'étage offrent des portes coulissantes en verre avec un pont, de grandes chaises d'observation et des vues inégalées sur le sable scintillant et les eaux cristallines. Sirotez un verre de vin sur le pont supérieur au coucher du soleil, puis créez un chef-d'oeuvre dans la cuisine - avec des fruits de mer fraîchement pêchés, bien sûr!

Labor Day Weekend Stay

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Emerald Isle. It was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean! At night we went down to the shore and looked at crabs, there were so many! The place had a lot of room to accommodate the amount of people there! Max was so kind and communicative before, during and after our stay! I am looking forward to coming back here on our next trip :)

Hurricane Ian

Well as luck would have it, our advanced scheduling of a family vacation landed on the exact dates of hurricane Ian’s path. The owner was very accommodating, concerned and went the extra step in keeping the communication lines open with us. God was good and gave us some gorgeous weather after all. This oceanfront place is beautiful. We had an amazing time and plan to go back….hopefully next time without the hurricane !

Wonderful beachfront vacation cottage

Our family had a relaxing vacation at this perfect oceanfront cottage. The owners were very kind and gave us information on restaurants and the 4th of July festivities in the area. The ice cream treat was delicious! Thanks again! Kitchen had all the necessary utensils for cooking and beds were very comfy. We loved sitting on upper and lower decks and watching the ocean.waves. We also enjoyed meeting the nice family on the west side. Looking forward to renting this cottage again sometime! Thanks for everything!

Perfect for family vacation

First, I can't say enough about the hosts, Max and Sophie. They told us everything we needed to know about the property, gave us suggestions for restaurants and places to visit, during our stay they let us know of any upcoming bad weather or local events and the best was the wonderful surprise when we arrived! The home had everything we needed...we could have left all of the kids beach toys at home, there was plenty there for 10 kids, in addition to beach chairs, boogie boards, floating devices, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked so cooking 3 meals a day was no problem when we wanted to. Plenty of seating on the decks and the view is beautiful! Highly recommend!

Perfect location

Beautiful view of the ocean from the decks. We could ride bikes to shops. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped for cooking. Great week with family!

First vacation in 2 yrs!

Our stay at Sea Star was fantastic! Thanks to Covid, our family hadn't been on a vacation in 2 years so we desperately needed this. The house was beautiful, great for families and worked well for us and to be right on the beach and close to shops & restaurants made it even better! Our only issue was the refrigerator in the house never cooled down., but that was a minor setback. Already looking forward to our next trip!

Sensational Sea Star!

Our family of 5 plus 2 grandparents enjoyed an amazing week in July at the Sea Star! This was only our second time visiting Emerald Isle and the location, views of the ocean and proximity to the beach could not be beat! We loved the layout of the house. There was plenty of room to relax and the deck and chairs are perfect! The house was very clean upon arrival and Helen patiently answered all of our questions prior to arrival. The house had almost everything we needed and we look forward to visiting again soon!

Spring Break Time Away

Helen was a great host, and their property is very well maintained and clean! I knew what to expect so we brought our own linen (sheets, pillow cases, towels, and wash cloths) no issues. The only issue we had was the beach renourishment happening during our entire visit. One thing I was looking forward to was the peace and downtime of sitting on the deck and looking out into the ocean. Also, the sounds of ocean waves to destress, which is why we paid more to stay oceanfront. Instead there were days and nights filled with heavy machinery and noise. I know our hosts had no control over this and I probably should have done some homework before making a choice. Outside of that, everything else was enjoyable!

Thank you for allowing us to host your mini-week getaway. We are sorry that you were disappointed with the linens service. Island Essentials provides linens for much of the island, including several large rental companies, and I will forward your concern to them. Many of our guests compliment Sea Star on the ease of accessibility to the beach, just a few steps away. Oceanside homes without stilts and some steps are almost impossible to find on the island. There are no steps from underneath Sea Star to the walkway, as this would be redundant to the steps directly in front of the house, which lead to the same walkway. We hope that you otherwise enjoyed your stay and found Sea Star's amenities to your liking. Thank you!
