Stayed 3rd week in June, weather was amazing

Stayed 3rd week in June, weather was amazing. We know the area well as have family in La Cala, so maybe a little bias, but it is a perfectication for a quiet Spanish beach holiday. San Juan festivities definitely worth being in La Cala for!

We had an amazing stay at the apartment

We had an amazing stay at the apartment. It was very spacious and well equipped. The location is amazing. We can only recommend and would be happy to be back. We found the message for online checkin somewhat confusing, but could actually take care of everything onsite, so all was good in the end.

Fantastic - spacious, clean, modern and well equipped apartment in a lovely and very handy location for access to the beach and local bars shops and restaurants. If you are looking for comfort and feeling like you’re part of the local community, this is a great choice and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Our host Cristina was super friendly and helpful throughout.

Central modern apartment

Lovely modern apartment, located between beach area and main streets. Lots of space for our family of 5 , 3 bathrooms was wonderful. Plenty of space inside the apartment, small balcony area alsoMet and greeted by Ismael , friendly,showed us around and helped us with booking taxisLa Cala is a chilled out friendly area and we lived staying in the village. We stayed in October time so was good value, warm weather, fantastic 10 days

The apartment is a very good size, well appointed, and close to the beach

The apartment is a very good size, well appointed, and close to the beach. The two good sized bedrooms with ensuites are perfect for 4 people. The lounge can take another 2 if required. The balconies are not up to much but this isn’t really what the apartment is about.Unlike some apartments, the kitchen includes all you need - decent fridge, hob, grill, oven, micro, pans, implements. The mug selection was poor so we bought some more :)It was obviously all put together as a high end apartment. The AirCon was excellent.The main issues we had were building noise, lack of keys, and useless TV.The building noise was unfortunate but happens. However, the one set of keys provided is simply not enough and adds a totally unnecessary inconvenience. The TV in the living room had a badly scratched screen, was many years old, and just had an internet box to stream that wasn’t set up. Had to go and buy an Apple TV box myself. We enjoyed our stay - Cala de Mijas is a great place to go. For us though, we missed having a sea view and no sun on a balcony :)
