We loved staying here!

We loved staying in this apartment, such an easy and charming layout, extremely comfortable for me and my teenager. Area was very conveniently located- like a 15 minute walk to Notting Hill/weekend street market, and 10 minutes to tube station which made it very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go around London. Neighborhood feels very safe and quaint and quiet. City Relay staff was super responsive and helpful.

It was well- located and quiet- the bed was uncomfortable- it felt more like a futon- the appliances worked fine- the tv reception was sketchy- bathrooms were nice but a soap dish in the showers would have been helpful- overall the appearance was attractive

Ok stay. Lots of repairs and better communication with the host needed. Extremely hot, difficult to sleep especially in the upper floor bedroom. Lack of proper ventilations. On a positive note, the two showers were great and the location is good as well especially if you enjoy waking.

Fantastic location. Some cool art. Could be a beautiful home, but so much was wrong about it.Greeted by a front gated yard that could be so dreamy but was overgrown and strewn with trash. Clearly not cleaned in... maybe ever? Once inside, the stairwell was also filthy and very uninviting. A lot of dirty things, slightly broken things, or things that indicated little thought was put into the space (i.e. faucets that almost are as deep as the sinks, no shower niches)The sun through the windows is so lovely in the morning, but the front sitting room is so jam-packed with seating, it's tough to get around. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable with totally flat pillows and scratchy sheets.Worst of all, in the upstairs bedroom where my friend stayed (arrived 2 days after me), they hadn't even put pillowcases on the pillows, so some gross dirty old pillows were placed on the bed. There was also no bedside table or lamp up there, so I brought a lamp from my room up to her's and put it on a chair next to her bed. Worst of all, the room was really musty smelling. She kept all her clothes downstairs to avoid getting them stinky.Finally, the wifi was very weak and cut out often.City Relay was fine, but I had to wait 20 mins out front for them to open the apt for me and they initially didn't provide 2 sets of keys despite knowing 2 of us would be there. The man who checked me in was very nice! But not sure why they didn't just use the 4 (dirty) lock boxes out front.
