This contemporary hideaway is perfect for families or small groups of friends seeking a seaside escape with thier furry tag-a-long. Pack a picnic and hike along the grassy clifftop trail overlooking the golden crescent of sand at Croyde Bay (4 miles), before sinking onto the plush outdoor seating on the patio and popping a celebratory bottle of bubbly.
This airy retreat features an airy open-plan interior with clean lines, wooden textures, and rich jewel tones. After a day by the sea, congregate in the bright kitchen and whip up a summer spread or perch on the swivel bar stool with an aperitif. Pad into the light-bathed lounge/diner and prop open the patio doors to enjoy the balmy Devonshire climate. Gather around the table then raise a toast before whiling away the evening with a leisurely meal. Retire to the lounge and stretch out on the squishy leather sofas as you tuck into something sweet.
