Le Coach House à High Park avec Piscine intérieure partagée

Cette spacieuse 1 chambre 1 étage Barn a été récemment converti le transformant en une escapade de détente luxueux idéal pour les couples. Les Barns à High Park ont ​​été construits à la fin des années 1800 et sont situés au coeur de la côte nord du Devon. Il offre un accès facile aux plages, landes, sentier côtier promenades, pistes cyclables, terrains de golf, des jardins horticoles, les enfants des parcs d'amusement amical, et bien d'autres activités récréatives extérieures et intérieures traditionnelles pour ceux qui recherchent une véritable détente, encore actif, se détacher de la stress de la vie au jour le jour.

Cette grange est située dans les 14 acres de terres privées avec accès sécurisé par un portail électrique. Dans l'enceinte est un grand lac naturel accessible avec une végétation étonnante, plus de 200 poissons et une maison de bateau.

Convertie en 2016, cette grange comprend un lit super king-size en chêne massif dans la chambre principale, de nouveaux meubles en chêne massif, des canapés en cuir, un éclairage LED et le chauffage au sol.

La grange est chien amical, et vous êtes invités à les amener à 25 £ pour le premier chien et 15 £ par chien pour chaque chien supplémentaire.

Our dog and us had a great time at High Park Barns. Anne-Louise was so thoughtful and friendly throughout our time there. We loved the attention to details and how exceptionally dog-friendly the entire property was. We had a fabulous and restful time and hope to visit again someday.

The kitchen was very well equipped, including extras (washing tablets for dishwasher & pods for washing machine, also pods for coffee machine). The Coach house is warm & comfortable with a lovely big bed and excellent shower. The grounds are lovely and extremely dog friendly. The owners are friendly and very welcoming too.
A short drive to coastal path walks.
Walking on the Tarka Trail is also really nice.

Short break (5 nights)

It is our 2nd visit to the Coach House and have already shared the link with family & colleagues. The property is very cosy and very well equipped. The whole site is so dog friendly and nice to wander around. It is a very relaxing, peaceful place to stay. I was out early in the morning with our dog on Wednesday and saw a Hare and a pair of Canada Geese down at the lake. Also heard Woodpeckers each morning too.

Fantastic mini-break

Being in the hospitality business ourselves, it is rare we find such wonderful attention to detail in places we visit. Anne-Louise & Paul were so welcoming and friendly (as were Buzz & Woody!). The pool is such a bonus, especially in the winter, when it was cold outside. The Coach House was superb. Everything you need for a comfy, cosy stay. We will definitely be returning. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

Relaxing holiday in Devon

Excellent place to stay to use as a base to explore Devon. The cottage has all you need in the kitchen, teas, coffees and very welcoming Devon scones & clotted cream, plus delicious fresh milk from the nearby local farm! Communication from Anne-Louise was perfect from before our holiday started. Effortless check-in and check-out. We really enjoy our stay.

The Hosts and their communication was excellent. The coach house was warm,clean and well equipped. The pool and rota system was brilliant and well thought out. The grounds were lovely to walk around and we had a very relaxing holiday. We would certainly hope to return.

Really relaxing week, could not fault anything Anne and Paul made us realy welcome , property was great , scone , cream and jam in the fridge was a nice welcome and also the bottle of milk from the farm down the road, swimming pool and Jacuzzi so clean and welcoming. High Park Barns provide quality accommodation in a lovely rural setting but close to North Devon’s beaches and attractions. The swimming pool is a real asset and an excellent facility for families in particular. Highly recommended

Relaxing and revitalising

The Coach House was very comfortable and the swimming pool rota meant I had lots of opportunities to swim with the pool to myself.The gardens were lovely to walk around and the area very peaceful.

Jan 2026 stay

This is the first time we have stayed at High Park in The Coach House and we will definitely be back. We arrived with our three dogs and used the lock box to get the key to the property which was easy to navigate. Anne Louise came to introduce herself and offered recommendations for the area which we really appreciated as this was our first time in Devon. The property was dog friendly, with a big garden for them to play in and other areas for them to explore off leash. The Coach House even had a hose on the side of the house to rinse off the sand from the beach! The property was clean and very comfortable. The heated swimming pool and hot tub was a bonus as the weather was not on our side. We cannot recommend High Park Barns enough and are already planning our next visit.

Perfect short break

We had a lovely stay in the Coach House at High Park. Property was spacious and immaculately clean with everything you need for your visit. Very dog friendly and in a lovely location. The bed is so comfortable! A charming lake on the property for short early morning or evening walks.
