Nous avons dĂ©montĂ© une maison en rondins datant de 1850 et l’avons dĂ©placĂ©e d’un kilomĂštre pour la rĂ©assembler sur notre ferme de 163 acres dans le centre de la ville. Juste 50 miles Ă  l'ouest de Nashville. Nous l'avons ajoutĂ© et nous avons pris deux ans pour terminer le projet. Nous avons utilisĂ© tout le bois rĂ©cupĂ©rĂ© Ă  l'intĂ©rieur. C'est une propriĂ©tĂ© unique en son genre, avec ses chĂȘnes et ses peupliers traversant toute la maison. Il est maintenant prĂȘt Ă  louer. Il se situe au dessus d'une crique, avec un accĂšs facile. PrivĂ© 163 acres de bois avec pistes cyclables et sentiers de randonnĂ©e. Soyez l’un des premiers Ă  dĂ©couvrir l’histoire de ces vieux bĂ»ches. Profitez de notre immense foyer extĂ©rieur. Nous avons coupĂ© le bois. Tu allumes le feu !!!!

Beautiful Cabin Get-away

Our stay at this Vrbo cabin was nothing short of spectacular! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, making it easy to settle in and start enjoying our vacation right away. The cabin itself was beyond amazing—cozy, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed. We were thrilled to wake up each morning to the sight of deer and turkey roaming nearby, which added a magical touch to our stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect night’s sleep after days filled with adventure. Another great stay

We’ve traveled the world and rented in many places, but this is the first property we’ve gone back to for another stay. We love the location, the acres of trails, the fishing hole (especially great for kids), and the serenity. Jerry and Janice are wonderful hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the area. A must stay!

Great time with family

We had a wonderful time hiking, playing in the creek and just spending quality time with our kids. The cabin is amazing and the property is beautiful. Jerry and Janice have put a lot of work into Yellow Creek Retreat and it shows.

Great Place!

We had a great time at Jerry and Janice's cabin! They are so nice and thoughtful, they found out it was our anniversary and had a cake there waiting. They were also able to get a great babysitter so we could go enjoy Nashville just my husband and I! So many great things to do there!

Great spot for a more relaxed batchelor party experience

The best kept cabin I've ever stayed in. The beautiful remote property features so much to do without ever having to leave. A great place to have peace and quiet while celebrating a dear friend entering holy matrimony, or a family getaway. We certainly plan on coming back.

This is a very neat place. The history is absolutely amazing, gorgeous property, gorgeous home the owners couldn't have been any better hosts. Janice did an amazing job setting up a beautiful tables by the barn. Jerry was an excellent host showing us the properties history and allowing us to visit the blue hole

We have stayed in several different cabins, this by far was the best one we have rented, the owner met us upon arrival, and was available for us if we needed anything, explained everything that was available, went above and beyond to insure our stay was a true experience

Perfect place to relax!

This property is perfect! Plenty of room both inside and outside. A quiet setting away from it all but close enough to town to get anything you might need. The cabin is beautiful! And the fire pit outside is magnificent! I would spend every night here if I could! Thanks for your hospitality, Jerry!

This is our 2nd stay with Jerry and we enjoyed ourselves just as much as I remember. Canoed the creek, barbecued for supper, hiked the trails and roasted hotdog & marshmallow around the fire while catching up with old friends.

Yellow Creek Cabin Retreat...Spectacular!!!

This remarkably restored, one-of-a-kind cabin is located on one of the most breathtaking plots of land in Tennessee!!! The Crawfords have succeeded in creating a private Smokey Mountain masterpiece right here in the rolling hills of Middle TN! They are fantastic hosts who can recount in detail the history surrounding this cabin and the adjoining lands. If you like to retreat in style with all the modern day trimmings and enjoy nature in all its glory, you MUST visit this place!

Crystal clear creek

The spacious property is nice for all ages. The hot, humid temps were not even noticed while we swam in the crystal clear swimming hole and the creek. Jerry and Janice were great hosts! The fire pit was a hit each evening! Thanks for providing a place for our family memories.

Perfectly Peaceful Place

My family and I had the most wonderful time at this beautiful retreat. It's perfectly located with beautiful surroundings and a nice creek that you can hear while sitting out on the spacious porch at night. The grandchildren enjoyed playing in the creek. There is a wonderful firepit where you can gather around a fire at night with friends or family. The host is the best and very friendly and provided everything that we needed. We can't wait to get together again at this lovely and perfectly located log house.

What a Great Place

It was such a Beautiful place! The inside and outside was gorgeous!! The craftsmanship and beautiful decor was homey and welcoming. Jerry and Janice didn’t miss a thing...even saved us fresh tomatoes from the garden in the back yard!! We saw wild turkey and deer. Fished in the creek, & for us Arizona people it was a treat to see Fire Flies too! It was a perfect vacation and we can’t wait to make it back next year!!!

Unique to the Max

What a unique home and property! Where you can you stay in bonafide cabin replete with animal mounts (it's like a museum) and vintage decor but with all the modern conveniences to make for a comfortable stay. To top it off, you would be hard pressed to find a more hospitable and helpful host/owner than Jerry and his wife! Not only are they top of the shelf hosts, it's worth your time to draw out of them their life experiences. Talk about unique!

Absolutely wonderful

Everything about this house is amazing. The bedding is the most comfortable we have had in any rental. Jerry and Janice and extremely friendly and add special touches to the vacation. They meet us at the house at check in and showed us around the property, 163 acres, and told us about all the little secret places to fish, kayak, and swim. Truly a wonderful relaxing week. Thank you.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Old house was on the property when I bought it, so I moved it to save and restore. It is one of a kind with so much detail in finishing the home. Decorating it was a blast according to my wife. Watch out for the brown bear standing in the dogtrot.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Private 185 acres to explore. Joins a private 4000 acre game preserve . Visit old house site where the cisterns still intact with cold spring water running 24 hrs a day. Set in rocker on front porch with a glass of wine and chill out while sun goes down and watch kids play in the creek. Very serene.
