Welcome to Old Town Beverly. A place worthy of food exploration. Only a 15 minute drive to Jasper Ave downtown.

This is our beautiful home, that we reside in while we are not traveling. We are more than happy to share it with you!

Spacious and sparkling clean. Built in 2020 with over 1600 sqft of space and a private backyard.

We have a whole house water filtration system built in. Quench your thirst with a glass of purified water directly from the tap.

Excellent place to stay. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Edmonton who doesnt want to book a hotel. Communication and check in / out process was excellent as well.

Very Lovely Place to Stay

This house was in top shape, very comfortable and clean. We felt as we were in a home away from home. Anything we wanted to do was easy to get to, Grocery, pharmacy and bakery all within walking distance. The neighbourhood was a tiny bit sketchy but we felt comfortable enough walking around in the daytime. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean and modern with large windows and cheerful decor. Nice added touches such as face clothes folded into flowers. Close to amenities. Excellent and helpful communication with the owners. We would love to return!

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet. It had close proximity to major streets for ease getting around the city. You need a car to get to the property and access any amenities. Owner responded to all queries. Definitely could use a bigger coffee pot.

Satisfactory stay

House was very clean, comfortable beds, however, there was no coffee and coffee pot was very small , enough for 1-2 cups, though we never got a chance to use it. Shampoo was listed as being provided however there were many empty bottles in the showers and no shampoo. Appeared to be someone living in the basement which came as a surprise as that was not listed in the VRBO listing. The backyard was to have have a patio set, but the yard was unusable, many weeds and only a bistro table with 2 chairs.

Restful Personal Retreat

What a lovely home for some rest and renewal! The home is well laid out and spacious, with just the right amount of colour and texture variety in a well planned and comfortable decor. I chose the master bedroom and found the bed to be very comfortable. As a sensitive sleeper, I also appreciated the pull down blinds and black curtains, which made for a positive sleeping environment. The location is great for walks in the neighbourhood, checking out local eateries in Old Beverley and a short drive to Rundle and Gold Bar Parks. Chelsea was prompt in her communication and very receptive to the few maintenance suggestions I offered to her and her cleaning staff, which were acted on right away. Thank you Chelsea for your openness and appreciation regarding my suggestions 😌 I look forward to another stay sometime soon!

Great property but some things could be improved

Positives!! Spacious ✅ Very well stocked kitchen✅ Newer property✅ Amazing kitchen✅ Awesome pillows✅ Prompt communication✅ No endless “rules” and cleaning requests.✅ Lovely soft blankets✅ Games✅ Negatives -Had to request info re: how to get into residence (door code) ⚠️Inability to set house alarm Mummified pizza crust on foyer bench.🍕 Some pots and pans were not clean. Tiny 2 cup coffee pot. Only one bath towel for each person (??) No xtra linens except a few hand towels &washcloths ⚠️Cheap polyester sheets & some were stained had holes & ALL had HAIR 🤢 ⚠️Only master bed had a mattress cover ⚠️Not the safest area (esp in PM if you are female). ‼️‼️ Most important: We packed LIGHT due to advertised washer & dryer-(washer didn’t work)- wasted precious time that could have been spent w/ dying family member (reason for trip) trying to fix it, back and forth w/ host, going to laundromat, waiting for repairman- Lost equivalent of a day— Host’s response: I can’t reimburse you for your lost time but I can reimburse you for $ spent on laundry. Not true, host CHOSE to not offer compensation for our lost time and troubles. Recognizing how much this affected us and even small offer of a few dollars would have gone a long way (good customer service and customer retention) If washer not been an issue, the other “negatives” wouldn’t have caused us not to rebook, BUT due to the lack of empathy and poor customer service re: washer issue, I will not rebook when I return for the funeral.

Hi Sarah, All the mattresses have a cover. As for the towels, there is two towels per bathroom then 4 on top of the cabinet so a total of 8 when we have guests. There is a French press and 2 cup coffee maker upstairs but I’ve ordered a 12-cup coffee maker now. As for the washer, as I’ve mentioned when we spoke that this was the first time I’ve ever had issues with it and it’s a brand new washer. I offered and reimburse you for all your laundry services. If you wanted to stay for free, you could have asked. I would have probably given you a big discount or even free for the only issue you had, which was the washer issue. As for the code lock, Vrbo shares all this information with the guest 1 or 2 days before check in. All the best!
