Rappelez-vous quand les vacances d'été destinés à passer de longues journées idylliques près de l'eau? Ce chalet Vignoble en bois simple avec son exposé rayonnait manger dans la cuisine, deux chambres plus une troisième chambre / salon (avec futon), deux salles de bains, HDTV, wifi, et tout le confort moderne vous rappellera combien agréable et la vie facile peut être. Situé juste à l'extérieur de Edgartown, sur un domaine privé, près d'un acre boisé juste à côté de belle Sengekontacket Pond, ce chalet vous donnera des vacances d'été calme sans soins dans le monde.

Nous avons rénové la maison en 2013, l'ajout d'une nouvelle cuisine, revêtements de sol, les fenêtres et la climatisation; en 2014, nous avons ajouté une salle de soleil; et ont continué à apporter des améliorations chaque année.

Relaxing stay at on a clean, well kept property

We had a great stay here! The house has lots of space and is well equipped with everything you need for a fun weekend. Tucked away in a beautiful part of the Vineyard. The check-in and out process was a breeze and the house is kept extremely clean. Highly recommend!

A lovely cottage

This property was private, quiet, clean and easy to access. The owner was helpful and easy to communicate with before the trip, responding to my messages quickly. I was sad to leave this lovely home at the end of our trip and I hope I can return again someday!

MV Paradise

We have stayed at the property for two years. The property is very clean and easily accessible to Edgartown, the beaches and OB. I would definitely recommend this home. It is ideal for a family of four!!

We had a great stay at the Cottage. The location made it easy to get to OB, Vineyard Haven, and Edgartown (and especially the triangle) as well as to avoid triangle traffic when heading up Island. The house is actually bigger than it looks online (while remaining cozy)- and good for parents young children as there is a kids bathroom and the master with its own bathroom is right next to the kids room (we didn't bring monitors but left the door open at night). Additionally, the living room with TV is on the other side of the house (so you can have some adult time watching a show or chatting there or on the expansive back porch after bedtime). I enjoyed that the living could serve as a flex bedroom as needed with a pullout couch. The washer/dryer were great (another essential for parents with young kids). A few things broke down when we arrived or needed to be replaced -but we signed up for an older cottage so this was not shocking. The outdoor shower was clean and essential for post beach cleanup. Steve was very responsive about check in and other questions we had. The one thing I would improve is changing filters for the air conditioning units which seemed a bit musty, and we ended up washing the bath towels (which also started out as musty- fine once they were freshly washed).

Comfortable cottage

This property worked well for our family. The owners have put some thought into the renovation and make excellent use of space. We enjoyed the living room and both decks. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. They have a generous supply of towels, plenty of hot water, and mini split air conditioners, which we only needed one day as it was not too hot. We made good use of the nearby walking paths. Very comfortable and convenient yet secluded feeling location.

Perfect Getaway to Celebrate our Anniversary

The Vineyard Cottage location was perfect for our needs. We had 2 small dogs who liked to walk the many trails in the nearby conservation areas surrounding the pond. The cottage had all the supplies we needed including a dog bed! It was a 5 minute drive to Edgartown and about a 10 minute drive to Oak Bluffs. Also very close to State Beach. Steve was very responsive to any question we had. I would highly recommend the Cottage for anyone looking to enjoy MV in a serene setting.

Gem in the woods

This cabin is recently renovated and well laid out. When we arrived it was clean and the owner left a nice welcome gift. There is a little beach in walking distance and walking/hiking/biking trails at each end of the road. It very convenient to Edgartown by bike or car and easy to get up island by car or bus. For us, the best feature is that they allow dogs. Ours loved their vacation with walks and swimming every day. They have asked to go back. All paws up from the pups!

Good spot

The house worked for our one week visit. The condition of the property is not accurately reflected in the listing. The bedroom was damp. We had a hard time finding the place and couldn't reach the manager. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but will look elsewhere next time.

Google maps often sends people the wrong direction - I will make sure that accurate directions are sent. I asked Bradley about his comment about the "condition of the property," but received no response, so I can't comment on that other than to say that no other renters have commented on the condition of the cottage and we have plenty of return guests every year.

Cute house - perfect for our family with young kids!

This house was perfect for our short getaway to the Vineyard with our two preschool age children. The house had the perfect amount of space for us, a nice family room with a wifi TV, comfy couches, a well appointed kitchen (note to anyone staying there, don't buy coffee filters, there are about 300 in the drawer next to the stove!), comfortable beds, and two big bathrooms. All the space we needed. It was in a great location close to Edgartown (our favorite town). And was a nice easy walk to a little beach on the pond. My only feedback would be the towels could use a little re-fresh. Everything was very clean, just many of the towels were frayed or had bleach stains. But really we had a great time and hope we are able to come back in the future!

THE PERFECT GETAWAY

In addition to being set up perfectly for either friends or family, the house is tucked away in a private area of Edgartown. We arrived and found a welcome note and a bottle of wine (great touch!), endless towels, board games, and a dog bed for our furry little friend! The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable (they supply a lot of pillows!), and if we needed anything at all, Pete (Property Manager) was always on hand! We will be renting again next year!!

I'm sorry for your bad experience. As we discussed, there was a miscommunication about the cottage being ready from off-season construction. We did promptly refund and compensate the renter.

We live in Texas but wish we could be on the Vineyard all year. This cottage is our dream vacation every summer, and we love sharing it with others. My two boys have grown up in the cottage and both learned to ride bikes on the Boulevard, a quiet street that is nothing like a boulevard!

I fell in love with this cottage when we saw it in 2003, after I had been coming to the Vineyard since the mid-1990s. It is secluded and quiet, yet an easy bike ride into Edgartown. I have maintained it lovingly, keeping it simple and uncluttered, and recently renovated it with new windows, kitchen cabinets, bamboo floors and A/C. In 2014, I enclosed the back deck to create a breezy and open three-season room.

This cottage was originally a fisherman's cottage in central Edgartown, but many years ago was loaded on a truck and brought out to this wooded lot just off Sengekontacket Pond. It is a nice quiet area, perfect for a relaxing vacation.
